Although surrounded by inhospitable desert, Phoenix is one of the largest cities in the United States, and the nation’s single largest state capital city. The area contains numerous galleries and museums, putting the people in contact with everything from the European masters to Native American craftsmanship to modern originals from Phoenix’s diverse artistic community. The Downtown cultural scene has developed into a top-notch feast of visual and performing arts, with symphony performances, live theater, and the popular First Friday exhibitions. Phoenix is also an excellent city for sports fans, being one of the few cities in America with local franchises in the NFL, MLB, NBA, and NHL. Several thousand students attend the two Arizona State University campuses in the city, as well as the over-50,000 who attend the main campus in neighboring Tempe.

Property Ratings at Cielo Apartments
I been here over a year and never had a big issue if it was an issue the maintenance team resolved it right away I am Satisfied to be here at Cielo Apartment, However I wish it was a gated community it will make it more safe for the tenants here

Moved in and a couple things weren’t working. Went down to the office and the ladies at the front guided or fixed the issues within a day or two. Awesome to see!

We're happy to hear that our team at Cielo Apartments was able to resolve your issues quickly! Thanks for sharing your positive experience. Enjoy your new home!
It started off really good and then within two days of moving I had roaches. Hadn’t even cooked or did anything to make them come, so that was unsettling. Took three pest control requests for them to actually come, not that it did anything because the roaches appeared again. I was afraid to have guests because of this. There would be random water shutoffs with no notice or the notice would come after the water had already been shut off..gee thanks. if you can get past the roaches or maybe you get lucky and they don’t come then it’s a decent place to live. However it’s pet friendly and there’s a few tenants with dogs that bark a lot so if you’re working from home this might not be good for you. The staff is nice and I don’t blame them for the issues but this place needs pest control badly and maybe tenants that are more considerate with their animals.

Do not live here I had roaches for 3 months. The office never had anyone spray even though I called 17 times in a month. All with time stamps and recordings. I had to move out early because I couldn’t take it anymore. Someone broke into my mailbox and stole my 1500 dollar deposit and the office did nothing. I showed them the pictures of the pryed open mailbox and they said it’s the post offices problem go talk to them. Do not stay staff is terrible.

This place never has a moment of peace if you have kids or work from home this is not the place for you. The employees that work here blast music while working on renovations which keeps you from making business calls. The construction site literally within arms reach of the apartment makes constant noise sun up to sun down. Week after week month after month. Water is scolding hot burns your skin, roaches and if that's not enough someone from the landlords are always stomping and pounding on your ceiling. None stop every day this place is a prison and no one should ever come here

I work from home and this is not the apartment for that life, constant construction site noise, endless roaches, and the upstairs neighbors pound, stomp and thud all day long every night, maintenance is loud and noisy stomping and pounding it's a non stop assault of sounds if you make business calls for money forget about trying to conduct business because all of these disturbances are non stop day after day week after week month after month

I was greeted by savannah, as soon as I walked in, she had the biggest smile on her face and the most amazing attitude she helped me find exactly what I needed and gave me all the details and information and reassured me that living at Cielo apartments would be the best for me.

Thank you for sharing why you love being a Cielo Apartments resident! We appreciate your five stars and look forward to seeing you around. Take care!
Multiple charges that are individually taxed for water, trash, valet trash, sewer, alarm( weather you use it or not), gas, electeic common area fees, pests fee, pet fees(weather you have a pet or not), package deliver fees lol... All we have are a few leaves in our patio but they charge lol.. You name it , they charge it. The rent is different every month. Each month is higher than before. Poorly constructed cabinets/doors from the inside. Unusable dishwasher. The outside looks nice tho. The washers make our clothes smell like mold. Our unit has a gnat problem and occasional roaches. Constant plumbing leaks from the A/C unit to the kitchen & bathroom. Daily surprise water shut offs. Homeless ppl come & go.. This place is def not worth what they charge. Can't wait til the lease is up

I live in this studio apartment that I do keep clean. I love the price and the new remodel that they've done on the interiors... HOWEVER, I have never had a roach issue in any housing until now and all that management does is a "light spray" even though I told them to patch the cracks... if I was a handy person I'd do it myself but then again, isn't that what maintenance and management is for within a managed apartment complex? Definitely not renewing my lease next summer... honestly probably going to end my lease early...
Cielo has offered me a living solution for the past few years and have been more then pleasurable to work with. I am appreciative of their help and continue to look forward to enjoying my stay!
I've lived here since 2013 with my dog. It's friendly, clean, and fairly quiet in my building. From my experience, most of the complex is the same. It's not uncommon to hear neighborhood gunshots, but they're typically from the surrounding areas. I haven't had to deal with expensive bug infestations, though I know of neighbors who have. Every so often new unrequested services are provided and billed for by the complex, though you cannot opt out. The rent hikes every year, though it's now raised by higher amounts since the light rail was built (when compared to past years). I have yet to see any new commerce or jobs brought to the area by the light rail, but other than that you pretty much have everything you need within walking distance of the neighborhood. From my experience, it's easy to become comfortable here while I can afford it.
I came to Phoenix from out of state and was so thankful I could take care of my entire leasing experience online, including getting an overview of the unit layout. My approval process was surprisingly quick. I had a couple items shipped to my unit that arrived before I did and the leasing staff were perfectly okay with moving them into my unit for me and storing a larger item in the office for me prior to my move in. Overall my experience as a resident has been pretty great.
Maintenance has always been prompt and courteous as they resolve my requests. Office staff is also polite and helpful.
Do not move to this complex. The leasing staff are the worst staff members I have ever dealt with. They are lazy and incompetent, consistently refusing to answer any questions via email, phone, or in person.
Honestly Id never recommend this property to anyone, the charges are ridiculously high and inconsistent and too many in acknowledged concerns some of which the landlord was legally obligated to address. 5 years ago I would have said yes Id recommend but now unfortunately absolutely not! Sorry.
Aside from the condescending attitude of the main office attendant, Celeste, this complex is adequate. There has been no gang or drug-related shootings in 8 months (a record for the area, I believe) and the AC units that are over the roof of each apartment will no longer shake the entire apartment once the weather cools down.
Not a good place to live.
I have lived here for two years and the management is garbage! They do not give any notice to their residents about any repairs being done. Wether that’s the water being cut because of a leak, the power not being available because SRP is working on an issue, or even if they remove all the steps to your staircase for replacement. Yes! That actually happened! I was not able to access my apartment for 2 hours! Management is horrible, live somewhere else
Nice and quiet, but some of the fees are outrageous. Laundry facitlies need new washers and dryers. Always tend to lose money due to washers out of service.
Phoebe and Harvey have always been professional and kind and I appreciate their timeliness in their response.
Neighbors making drug deals outside your door at all hours of the night. Roach infestation from day one. Drunk neighbors partying until 9am on weeknights. Clogged tub drains. A door so loose that light pours in from the bottom. I wouldn't make a dog live here.
Happy to live at cielo. Very good community
CIELO has had a makeover! I have a bottom level apartment. The interior is very modern in the fully-renovated apartments. The patio is big enough for my two kids to enjoy an enclosed outdoor space!
Overall the apartment is great and maitnsince has been professional and timely. And I'm eager for them to be able to fulfill my other orders as as covid-19 allows.
I sincerely love living here. I feel safe walking my dogs at night, all of my neighbors are super friendly, and the office has been amazing every time I've reached out. Maintenance was even super fast and helpful with the kne request I had. Thank you all so much!
Within walking distance from Sprouts, Albertsons, The Studio Academy of Beauty, Walgreens, and UPS. Property has package lockers behind locked doors. Newly renovated apartments have beautiful faux marble countertops and vinyl wood-like flooring. I researched apartment properties along the light rail before renting, Cielo was my 3rd choice, and it was an excellent choice. I am happy here.
I loved the studio I lived in, but the experience in getting the keys and trying to pay my rent was the worst I have ever experienced in my life. None of the ladies that worked the front desk answered y phone calls or emails. And when one of them gave a tour to a future resident, they locked the doors and the other lady stayed inside and when I knocked on the doors all those times, all the lady did was just look up from her computer. When they gave tours if they had a guest in the office they just left them to give someone else a tour. When I called about questions, they just answered with a few words and not just helping me each step of the way like most apartment communities do. I helped my friend move in to this community and I was supposed to get about $200 taken off my rent the next month but I did not. Thst is a very selfish act, and I was supposed to get my money back from the security deposit (I specifically signed a paper or got a call asking for a refundable fee of $700, but I didnt get a call when i broke this lease). The leasing staff seemed nice and they were but it seemed only on their terms. I had problems with cockroaches and no one gave me a warning except for my neighbors. When I moved in the apartment smelled horribly of smoke, and I know the maintenance workers were smoking in my apartment when they were getting it ready for me because none of my neighbors smoke. I had a neighbor in another complex that watched me and made me so uncomfortable, I would walk to my car and he would watch my every move. On my last day, I just looked at him and asked if he had a problem and if he liked what he saw, he just kept staring and giving me a creepy smile. Given it was not in the best part of Phoenix, the community needs to do better on making sure the place looks the best, keeping doors locked thst need to be locked, get gates for the safety of the people, and be friendlier to the future residents.
Cielo is an exceptional complex. It's in a great area! I love how aesthetic the complex is. It's always clean and has great vibes. I'm very happy with my choice.
Cielo apartments is peaceful, quiet, and very relaxing. I was concerned about it not being a gated community, but you honestly can't even tell! The grounds are kept clean, and there's nobody loitering. At night its so well lit up that you can feel 100% comfortable walking around safely.
Apartments are very nice and the studios are perfect for 1-2 people (mostly couples) . The carpet goes well with the walls and the space in a studio is larger than average. I would recommend, but the roach problem is a serious issue and management is a tad bit slow to some requests which they are hopefully making improvements to .
Everything was so smooth and the community is great! I love it here!
They made a lease change without an amendment signed by me, but the legal fees would greatly outweigh the cost of the changes i could not do anything about it. These people also make you pay for their water leak charge you as "community water" ridiculous. Ever hear the phrase "I'm sorry you feel that way" well welcome to the managers first line of defense! Let them push the problem back to you and make you feel bad because it's their issue. They have the worst problem with management and they are not there to make you feel at home just collect the rent. Rent is not decent, they force policies on you that dont make sense. The Place does not have any bills because they make everyone pay for the daily operating cost outside of the profit they make on you. They charge you for community electricity which includes the off, community water, community hot water heating. Operation costs is pushed to you and they dont even blink and eye doing it. No empathy from these people, illegally tows a vehicle having the tow company put it on the non-visible side of the vehicle to make the car " abandoned" Literal hell and they are only in it to make money. I know its a business but 0 Customer service and they dont even know how to take a complaint. The manager is never around or the staff refuses to let you speak with them because you have an issue that they are just pushing off. Place is a joke and i lived there to myself for 2 years. Water never stops leaking, they never stop finding ways to charge you more every month for the same badly designed apartments. Go get a house its cheaper than a 1 bedroom at Cielo i did and its a 3 bedroom house same price better neighborhood.
By far the worst apartment complex ever. Still have nightmares of this roach infested place. Had so many issuse while living here. Most went unresolved. Those that were resolved took MONTHS!! Also involved you getting screamed at by management staff. My new place is the same price and beautiful and in a great area. Take your business else where. It will be the best life choice you have ever made.
We just moved in so there isn't much to say. The apartment we have is clean and renovated, but is a little on the expensive side. So far it's nice.
I've lived here since August and so far it has been a great place to live and the amenities are nice as well.
Have been living here since April of this year. It hasn't been 100% terrible. I love the complex, kept pretty clean. They recently added a little dog park which I love to take my dog to. The pools are almost always crystal clear, just a shame they are locked so early in the evening as I work late and sometimes i like to take night swims. Not complaining though. The staff is friendly and usually tries to get things handled in a timely manner. My lease will be up in April and sadly I will not be able to renew it as because of the new management and upgrading of the apartments, it's a little on the pricey side for us at this moment in our lives. They always have raffles or some kind of contest going on. Like Halloween they had a patio/door decorating contest, I am excited to see what they are gonna do for Christmas.
I feel very comfortable and safe at this location l, the property is always well kept and clean. The staff is helpful and professional!
Ive lived here here for 3 years, i like this place.. Its close to my job and family. The new management is cleaning up the property peice by peice. When i call the leasing office, they actually pick up the phone. You gotta love the comimentry popcorn. You go Ceilo!!
I lived her for 3 years and never had a problem with management or the people that lives there. I really love the atmosphere of the property
Cielo Apartments are very nice and well managed with helpful staff as well as a great location. We love it here.
There has been new management with lots of upgrades. Its awesome being right by the light rail and the I 17.
Cielo has gone through many changes all for the better. New management, new paint, and new amenities. They are really keeping up with the expanding market on 19th ave
I have been living here for more than two years, almost going to three. In the past year I have seen a huge improvement in regards to the renovations and the management. The property it's self is a lot cleaner and the changes being made make it look current. Because I have been in my current apartment for about two years my place is out of date and defiantly needs some upgrades. I do plan on renewing my lease because I am conformable and the price is not bad. I do hope I will be able to move to one of the upgraded apartments when my lease is up.
Don't move here. I've lived here for 8 years. They raised my rent 150.00 and will not remodel my bathroom counter that looks like from the 40's with the motel room sliding mirror. They told me I need to clean. Holes in the walls. Unfortunately, I'm stuck here due to monetary issues
The name of my apartment is Maya Linda i have been here for 2 years now it was build in the 1970s or so, it is a fine place to live the management is doing there best to help with our concerns but in every apartment it will be 1 or 2 problems ex here is the my air conditioner if not cooling that well but again it is just one of the problems that we have.
For the many young people there are in Phoenix, and just about anywhere, spending the least that we can on bills is one of our first priorities. So, in that essence, my apartments are quite the find; at less than $1 per square foot, I definitely can't complain. However, a cheap price tag in turn comes with cheap amenities, which usually reveal themselves as surprises to you after you've already gotten settled. For instance, when I first moved in, I hadn't expected the lining of my shower to peel off beneath my feet during every shower, and I definitely did not expect having to get the apartment sprayed for bugs within the first month. My favorite perks of the apartment would have to be the burnt cookies you get because the oven is never true to temperature, and getting to watch an entire T.V episode while I wait for the water to heat up to do my dishes. (Luckily, the water is a flat rate!). There is also the lovely tune of the air conditioning unit on top of my bedroom, who's volume rivals even that of my downstairs neighbor's incredibly loud television (but who can put a price on falling asleep to the script of Star Wars one a week). All in all, once again I cannot truly complain due to how happy the price makes my bank account, however after a short 4 months into my lease, I have without a doubt decided to not renew my least next year!
