Primarily located in Ector County – with a small portion extended into Midland – the city of Odessa is an up-and-coming community of modern comforts. Situated above the Permian Basin, the driving force of its economy has always been oil. However, Odessa has been diversifying its industry into logistics with the opening of numerous distribution centers.
Just like their affordable apartments, residents enjoy the shopping opportunities at Music City Hall. The community takes pride in academics – it has three colleges! At Odessa College, you can tour a replica of Shakespeare’s Globe Theater. And speaking of culture (and replicas), you’ll find England’s Stonehenge at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin campus.
With convenient access to Interstate 20, you can access nearby Midland in just minutes. Odessa is home to many great parks, schools, and modern comforts – so find your Odessa home today.

Property Ratings at Cielo Vista Townhomes
Usually, I won’t write a review for an apartment until I move out, but this one deserves it while I’m still a tenant. The original property manager that was here when I moved in was very sweet and nice and overall I will say that this property is a nice place to live as far as the actual accommodations go, though it’s pricey, even by Odessa-Midland standards. A few months ago, we got a new property manager, and things have gone severely downhill. She has lost the key to my apartment and instead of re-keying the lock which would be the proper thing to do since the office lost it, she just asked me for my copy of the key to make another copy for herself; she has called me on my cell phone before saying that there was a maintenance issue in a next door apartment and they needed into mine and asked me to leave work early at around 5pm to let in the maintenance man, but no maintenance man came until nearly 10 PM, and when he did arrive, he did not announce himself as maintenance, and instead just pounded on my door while speaking Spanish to other men that he had with him, which for a woman living by herself is unnerving. Today was the straw that broke the camel’s back though; I paid this month’s rent in the regular time frame, but came home to a note today stuck to my door, not even folded for privacy, that stated since I’ve failed to pay rent, my lease was immediately terminated and they’d take me to court if I didn’t vacate immediately. I went straight to the office where she was on a personal call on her cell and asked her about the note. She read the letter over, looked puzzled, then opened her drawer and pulled out my check, laughing about how it slid all the way to the back of her drawer and “sorry for the inconvenience.” I personally don’t find it funny at all and really believe that a woman as disorganized as to lose keys and bold enough to post lease termination letters on someone’s door for the neighbors to see without ever checking her desk drawer for a check from a tenant who’s never been late with the rent isn’t fit for this position and drags down the reputation of the entire complex. These aren’t great circumstances to live under, and for the price, you can have a much better experience living elsewhere in the city.
Property Manager at Cielo Vista Townhomes, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your comments, we are very sorry for that behavior from any of our staff at any time. The manager we had in Sepember 2019 is no longer with us. I hope you are still with us.
We love it here it's a great place to live. It's very well taken care of the manager is very helpful. The town homes are huge. We really love the car ports right at our front door. The bathrooms could use some updating but other then that they are great.
I enjoy living in our apartment; I have a son that so excited in having his own room now. At times it's been hard paying my apartment; but my parents have always been there for us. I just recently found a job and moved out on our own. I am wanting to live on my own and show my son I can do this and I know that with God help and strength I can. Thank you so much for the opportunity in entering your contest.
