Property Ratings at Cienega Apartments
I had to rate it a 1 because it didn’t let me rate it 0 stars. My husband and I had really high hopes of this place due to the false advertisement. However, so many things were wrong. the initial plans we had seen said that they had a 9x8.6 foot study room, however upon being able to view the apartment, they informed us that the room was actually way smaller than that…it was the size of a closet. Where a regular desk would not even fit! So, whatever, we chose to get a 2 bedroom apartment instead that they CLAIMED was ready to move in that same day. However, when we arrived everything was disgusting. There was literal urine that you could tell had been there for a long time in the toilet, there was a more than normal amount of dust everywhere. There were weird unidentifiable stains all over the place. The place was a pigs pen. Nevertheless, when we told the lady and she even saw it for herself, she basically said that too bad for us because at some point they cleaned it so whenever that had been that’s what we had to deal with. Now, throughout the month, despite paying our rent and other charges ahead of time, we randomly incurred a charge that now we are labeled as “late payment.” Customer service is the worst, I honestly advice everyone to look for somewhere else to live if they want to be comfortable and confident that where they are is clean and sanitized before moving in. Oh…p.s. as if that was not enough, they claimed so so much that we were getting a “new” fridge, however what arrived was a joke of a fridge. I really don’t know what they think that we will actually believe just because of what they’re telling us. HORRIBLE!!! HORRIBLE!!
The Cienega Linda Apartments are amazing. The greatest apartment I’ve ever rented in. Staff is very friendly and courteous. Gabriela is my favorite! She’s awesome !!!!

Was interested in renting a 2 bedroom. Staff was excellent and very helpful. the showed me their availabilities and was impressed with the courteous and knowledge of the staff. Very nice apartments. Will consider moving there.

We have been renters of this facility for a year this coming April. Staff was friendly during tour and leasing contract times. After signing, employees lack in customer service in reference to addressing issues and concerns in building number 8. When contacted about issues with the pool, often times, they will take your concern but issue is not resolved quickly. We have reported a couple of times, that exterior lights in the complex are not functioning, thus creating a safety issue to renters and their cars. Lights still do not function properly througout the complex. On the positive side issues with potholes in parking and driving areas were resolved and fixed immediately. Overall, you get what you pay for and the location is great to areas that are needed on a daily basis, grocery shops, convenience stores, restaurants, venues, schools and hospitals.
They have real issues about maintenance, they do not have enough personnel to complete orders on time It takes 3 or 4 request to get something done but the worst part is their lack of customer service sense, they believe they are doing tenants a favor by attending this maintenance orders, sometimes office personnel is abominably rude. Think it twice before you move here.
Nice enough apartments at first glance, but many appliances were not working at move in. Cupboards and drawers were dirty, and never got cleaned after notifying the office. It took nearly two months and more than six times contacting the office to get help with maintenance and other issues. Staff are warm and friendly when you meet them, but cold and unhelpful after you move in. There are definitely better places to live in Laredo.

These apartments. Are ok but they cost too much for what they offer. For example the complex has at least 200 apartments. And one swimming pool,GROSS ?? on top of that if wasn't. Enough it gets crowded another thing is that they charge you $25.00 extra for choosing not to pay renters insurance and as if it wasn't. Enough you have to pay in order $ 20.00 to pay with credit card and $3.00 for checking as if the rent wasn't high enough.
Awesome place great schools nearby. Beautiful. Setting stands out alot wonderful community. It has a great gym a good amount businesses. Nearby. So you save on gas.
What makes me happy is that my kids are very very HAPPY here at our home Cienega Linda Apartments..
Staff is very freindly, they do everything possible to help you out. Apartmend are very well taken care of and clean. Property is very neat and clean. It is a very calm complex. Very peaceful and very people friendly.
I've been living here for almost four years maintenance is awesome I can always depend on them to fix anything from my apt the staff is great
This community is centrally located , great location near schools, shopping and restaurants. The amenities are great and kept clean. The office staff is friendly and helpful if needed . We couldn't have picked a better place to live !!!
While these apartments look great from the outside, the quality of construction and amenities are not in line with the prices they charge. Cabinets are poorly constructed, noise from adjacent units comes right through the walls (even with quiet neighbors), and property gates and pool are frequently out of service for long periods of time. However the biggest drawback is the staff. Once you sign the lease the staff's friendly disposition goes right out the window. Maintenance requests are ignored, and requests for updates are blown off, and they are just generally rude overall especially the manager. The biggest benefit is the location. You're in the middle of the best part of the city. HEB is less than a mile away. Plantation community provides a great place for those who like to run or ride a bike. Anywhere you want to go is less than ten minutes away. Also, in six years I have never had an issue with overly loud or rude neighbors.
I spoke with the leasing manager on Monday. She said they were repairing a 1 bedroom with study. I told her I was interested and asked when I could take a look at it. She said Friday. So I come back on Wednesday and another lady is in the office. She tells me she's already put a "24 hour hold" for someone else! Great communication and professionalism! Then I asked if could see the apartment, and she said, sorry I'm leaving even though it was still working hours. Well, I'm sorry but I expected more accomodation from someone interested in spending upwards of $10000 over the next year. I'll pass on this place.
we report a maintenance caulkiing bathroom issue 9 weeks a go and never was fixed, come to the office and talk to the manager several times and never was fixed, the management and follow up in guest issues is very poor and looks no interest in service, also the pool is close for more the 2months with temperature in the 90's and 100's, this poor management is not worth the rent that we paid.
