Property Ratings at Circuit
Some of the agents in the leasing office are very rude and say childish remarks to residents to get a rise out of them. There are two in particular that anytime i call, they give me attitude or hang up. Most of my maintenance requests have been ignored too, along with all of the issues i marked on my move-in checklist
my experience so far has been great. I’m looking forward to a nice year here, the office employees are very professional and the neighbors are nice also
Moving into our new apartment downtown has been one of the best decisions my fiancé and I have made. The location is fantastic, with everything we need just steps away—restaurants, shops, and entertainment are all within walking distance. It’s made date nights so much more convenient and enjoyable!
The apartment community is cool. Don’t really be home much but when I am I speak to all my neighbors. Only thing I’m not happy with is the gym being closed since I’ve been living here and the leasing office keep saying next month next month it will be opened and I’m still waiting!!!
Not being able to use the gym sucks. It’s dirty everywhere. Roaches and stains etc. it’s gross. Wish there was better maintenance of the property
Great location, incredible staff that is timely and very helpful. Amenities are top notch including Gym and Pool. You Can’t beat the price for quality and neighborhood
My experience for the last two years has been bad for me, the condition was so bad that it effected my health, now am getting asthma shots and allergy shots because of the smell and garbage and roaches… I’ve had a lot of repairs and thank god it’s much better, still roaches and open tickets to be addressed
This property is such a beautiful place, but within the last few years it’s been downgraded, not enough maintenance, infested with bugs and appliances that need to be replaced…
Very nice and pleasant neighbors, always speaking and offering to assist on anything. There’s one staff in particular that can always be dependent on. Her name is Caleb. She’s a very sweet young woman. She’s always kind and she’s helpful.
i love the apartment itself and Torey has been beyond great but we have had multiple packages stolen (and the package room needs some serious TLC as people dont pick up their packages, we get no notification that anything has been delivered and most carriers dont provide us with a code to get in so we have to go to the front desk every time to get a code to get in), the gym has still not opened (one of the amenities that sold us on the place), and the hallways consistatnly smell of garbage becuase the trash room is not emptied enough. Overall, I do like the place because the apartment is very nice, the AC is great, there is an ample amount of space and parking but the other things are the reason i didnt give it more than 3 stars.

I love my location. It’s convenient for my job. Easy access to the freeway. Spacious closet space. I’ve been living here for 4 years and decided to renew my lease again.
Security concerns are major here. Universal gate code, air bnb units and parking for games. service is okay. i know this is a hard job but friendliness is important and kayla is just not customer service material

If this place could get zero stars, it would. Do not live here. I’ve dealt with these people for 4 years. Longer than the people at that office have worked there. Management could care less about the property. Things are always broken and left unresolved, work orders take 3 or 4 years to get fixed. I had a simple ice machine issue and after 4 years of constantly asking to get fixed, was never fixed that I had to move to another unit to be able to get a working ice machine. Trash is hardly picked up around the property and trash bin are hardly ever emptied out but management loves to blames the residents for that… They claim over the past year there’s been improvements but coming from a person that’s been here longer than them, this property has decreased in improvements… management want to claim they fixed so many things once they got here but yet gates are still broken, gate doors have no handles, homeless people in and out of the garage. They charge pest control fees and I’m sure they have a contract with someone and I’ve seen them come out here once in the last 3 years. I’ve seen rats in halls, staircases. Their excuse is we live in the city….. that’s no excuse. I could have easily moved out by now, but I shouldn’t have to leave, circuit apartment just needs to do better. This is not luxury living, so if that’s what you’re looking for, try somewhere else. NOTE TO PROPERTY: Please save your response because y’all NEVER answer the office phone or emails. So keep that “please contact us to make this better” BS to yourself.

Love it but the elevator not working limits a lot of access to some. And the fire alarms going off randomly for days really got my crazy going.

The staff is very friendly and helps me with my office needs. However, the apartment complex is filthy and it's embarrassing that SO many things are broken or INOP: Gym, 2 outside doors, elevators...

My move in experience was sub par. So many things in my new apartment needed to be done. This apartment was NOT CLEANED prior to my move in. Nor was it made ready by the maintenance crew. I had cabinets doors on the floor, broken blinds, reeked of weed, plumbing fixtures were ALL clogged. Fire alarms/ smoke alarms were not installed, there is so much more I could name. The amount of disappointment had made this place infuriating. Please do better Circuit.

Don’t let the allure of living close to everything blind you into thinking Circuit is anything but a dumpster fire. The office staff are ill informed and uncommunicative, the maintenance staff barely know what a screwdriver is, and there are so many cockroaches, one would think it’s some kind of lab. Please, for your own sake, live anywhere else.

Would not recommend living here at all. Serious pest issues with no solution in sight. A/C and heating are continuously not in commission. Electrical sockets always jamming, it’s a complete mess. Leadership issues where you’re not able to get in contact with management by phone or person. I can go on and on with the issues going on here, please save your money and look for elsewhere.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. DO NOT live here unless you're ok arguing back and forth with the office staff. The place smells like a mixture of dog poo, chlorine and weed. There was a water leak that caused water to enter our apartment and the amount of mosquitos that are at the door is ridiculous because they never really did anything about the water that went under the floor. They have a rat problem, we had to call an exterminator three times to come take care of the rats that live in the complex. My roommate got told that he could not take his dog to the dog park after 10PM by a security guard and they even tried to get his number. Mind you they don't have a sign saying you cant take your dog out after a certain time. They changed the pool hours too, there is a sign next to the pool saying it's open till 10PM and we got kicked out by the security guard at 9PM because those were his orders. Multiple months they charged us for "leaving our trash can outside" but they didn't take the trash inside of it. They wanted us to bring it back inside the house and leave it their another day. They have a trash fee on your bill so they can take your trash but THEIR own service wasn't taking it and we were getting charged for it. We had to start taking pictures of the trash every time we took it outside to show that it wasn't our fault. The manager was never in, we would leave work early to go talk to her but I guess her work hours are from 10-11am because that's the only time we didn't try to go. DO NOT even look at this place. 0/10 DONT recommend.

Living here has been easy, the process of getting moved in was absolutely horrible. I had to wait 3 months before my apartment was ready after I already paid a deposit. I was told something different by 3 different people. My rent has yet to be what was discussed.!

You really can't beat the location, and the quality of the apartment and its modern appliances are great. The community does feel safe. My car was only broken into once, and that was because I left the doors unlocked overnight, so if you do that, you're likely fine. I had trouble with the leasing office in not responding to outreach or emergency maintenance calls. When I first moved in, I had an issue with my circuit board that resulted in my not having electricity in half my apartment. It took them 3 days to finally resolve the issue. Overall, I had a very difficult time communicating with the leasing agents and would say that there is pretty poor customer service. There isn't much of a community feeling in the apartment. No one really attends the community events and there isn't much of a sense of a neighborhood community where people know or even say hello to each other. Also, the amenities are nice, but the pool is pretty much always closed for maintenance.

I really can’t complain. I’ve been living here for almost a year and I like it. I haven’t heard of any breaks into the cars in the garage, as a previous review in the past had stated. I haven’t had any break ins to my apartment unit. The staff is very friendly and the maintenance crew work really hard. I’ve put in so many request but they complete them all within a decent time frame. I didn’t like how the water would get turned off without notice however they’ve gotten better with informing us of any issues that arise. I’m grateful appreciative of this complex. I really love it here honestly.

It’s a great location and the building looks nice, but the management simply does not care and they are the reasoning this “luxury” apartment complex is bad. It was never this bad when the prior management was here. Furniture is left out on the property, IN PLAIN SIGHT, from people whom are moving out is left for *WEEKS* when all management has to do is make one phone call. It’s embarrassing bringing friends over, when we pay high rent & our complex looks terrible and extremely dirty. There is NO garage security despite multiple cars left on bricks at the same time.

Community is unfortunately going down. There have been multiple break ins in the garage. Secured doors left or tied open. Rarely do you see a security guard. The maintenance team is a revolving door of people.

It's a nice place to live for the most part. I applied to an Affordable Housing program and it took about a month to finally be approved. That was probably the most frustrating part of the whole process. There are alot of animals on the property and everyone tries to pick up after their dogs which is a good thing. There are alot of cool places to visit in the area. And I've met alot of cool nice residents on the property! They made me feel welcomed as I'm more of an Introvert and can be stand off-ish. Traffic is iffy when there are game days but nothing just too unbearable. You'll eventually get home. Parking is ok for residents. There is limited guest parking on the very top floor of the parking garage but my guess have not complained yet. I like that the gate's to the resident buildings are either by code or by clicker which is great for security. There is a Security Officer on duty in the evenings and so far no break ins. I had to have a few minor things fixed after my move in (garbage disposal, fridge water filter), I placed the work order in over the weekend and by Monday the Maintenance manager was there bright and early to fix my repairs. I was shocked because some reviews state it took days but not in my case so I'm very happy with that. So over all, it's not a bad place to live, especially if you're young or downsizing.

Hello, we strive for 100% satisfaction, and it is great to see you had such a positive experience at Circuit.
The amenities are not well kept. The pool is minimally cleaned and the small pool doesn't seem to be serviced at all. The fire pits do not light. The elevator has broken tile that cause a hazard. Security is not a priority at the property. The garage AND exit doors are not locked as initially stated or the locks are broken. There is no security presence. I feel completely unsafe here.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. We've had a few different pumps to fail which have been replaced. Most recently we've discovered an issue with the overflow on the pool which we are in the process of getting it scheduled for repairs. Providing a please environment is our aim and we will use this review to work toward improving the experience for everyone.
Circuit is a great location in East Downtown Houston, but provides terrible maintenance services.

No recomendable place to live ! Dont lease in at the circuit ! We have to many issues with noises and breathing problems , horrible place ! Management lease office sucks as well !

The leasing office has no respect for their residents. Truly awful.
The property is under new management as the results are night and day. The appearance of the exterior is well kept, the hallways and stairwells clean, and there front office is always providing updates about things going on around the property. The staff is very friendly and proactive.
