Property Ratings at City Edge Flats
I like that it is quiet. I also like having my own space on oneside and my children are on the other side. Living room area is spacious, as well as the kitchen area. Excited to finish decorating.
Nice place to live has a dog park for my dogs and convenient to shopping, the office staff is wonderful and the maintenance guys are the best
I Love My Apartment! It’s A Nice Place To Live And Very Affordable. ??????????????????I Recommend You Give The Complex A Try. They Even Offer A Cleaning Service.
The community is very nice and the maintenance dept is prompt, polite and efficient!!! Unfortunately there are a few folk who don't respect or honor the rules. I wish management would do more to follow up with the offenders.
My experience at City Edge Flats has been ok. Only complaints I have is the kids that play and throw balls around cars instead of going to the grass. Also people driving fast/ not paying attention while in the parking lot. Not enough parking for visitors at all. And people throwing trash on the grounds and broken bottles. But overall it’s a nice place to live in Murfreesboro.
He was focused on resolving the issue we had, nice and courteous!
This seems to be a very nice complex. It is very quiet for elderly people to be able to sit out and enjoy the surroundings
Very comfortable friendly service oriented staff. We're very grateful to God for such a comfortable and friendly place to live.
YES
Personnel was very Professional, and welcoming. Made sure that were satisfied with what we asked for.
It’s a great location, the price is good and we love the apartment!
I would recommend because I have enjoyed living at City Edge Flats. It has some great features. It's just the office staff since the new management took over isn't very welcoming.
Only reason I would recommend is solely on the maintenance department. There friendly and kindness is the best. The leasing office people not so mich
Since the change of operations and not having any office on site there is a feeling of cold here. No community feeling or interaction. Ally interacted with us constantly and we felt like a community
It's really close to everything. The first floor layout of the properties I live at is great.
It's quiet here & I'm allowed to have my pets. I wish there was central heat & air & security cameras but overall I like it here.
For Murfreesboro the price is reasonable. Bedrooms in the 2 bed are a bit on the smaller scale; however, the kitchen dining and living areas are quite spacious. Super quiet street but still close to shopping, restaurants, i24 and 840.

Cute flats, really quiet street. I like the layout of the kitchen and living rooms. Bedrooms are slightly smaller than I would like, but the main bathroom is enormous so that makes up for some of it. LOVE the amenities, lots of green space for the dog to roam. It's nice to have reliable maintenance for a change, and the office ladies are warm and helpful. Overall, can't complain. Two thumbs up!

I've been a resident at this location for about 6 months now. Apartment is laid out like a house almost which drew us here. Made some friends with the neighbors and the pool was a hit with the kids this summer. Maintenance takes care of any issues that come up. Office staff is very nice. My only complaint is on the weekends, mainly Saturday and Sunday night when the office is closed, parking gets pretty tight. Residents get parking passes, but that doesn't do anything when no one is here to write them a ticket. I've had to park sometimes on the street and walk to my apartment. I will say that I've recently complained to the office and the receptionist, Ali, was very empathetic. The next day I got a letter that said they will be cracking down on parking and vehicles without passes will be towed. Hoping this fixes the issue. All in all, I'm happy I picked here. Have heard horror stories about some apartments just up the road and just glad I chose this place.

We are so happy you enjoy City Edge Flats! We take great pride in our property and appreciate you taking the time to review.
Employees seem nice at first but very shady. Very poor maintenance. Having to ask multiple times to have something fixed is not Okay. I also asked for the corporate number and it was not given to me, I was told they would contact me and I NEVER received a phone call. MAKE SURE YOU ARE THERE FOR YOUR WALK IN

It's an okay place to live. The ceilings are really high, which does give a nice open feeling, but your electric bill will be rediculously high since those ceilings make it really hard to heat and cool the place. There's also just a heating and cooling unit in the master bedroom and the living room. Which means no vents in the rest of the house, making it difficult to control the temperature in the kitchen and other bedroom and bathroom. The walls are kind of thin, so you can hear a lot of what your neighbors do. Or smell a lot if they smoke or burn something. If you have guests over, they are expected to park at the very back of the property and will be towed if they park elsewhere, which is rather annoying. The saltwater pool is nice and the area is pretty safe, but for what they charge you in rent, their amenities are lacking compared to similarly priced apartment complexes. Other than being expensive for what you get, living there was fine. Until you move out anyway. One of the office ladies is polite and helpful, but the other one is very short and rude if you have questions about their procedures or your bill and won't explain anything to you. They will also bill five times what it actually costs to fix for every single scratch or speck of dirt in the apartment. They make you pay $500 in pet fees to have a pet, plus $40 to DNA test your pet if you have a dog. They say the $40 is so they can tell if you don't pick your dogs poop up. I have worked in a vet clinic, there is no DNA in poop. That's just a blatent money grab and insulting to anyone with common sense. Further more, none of the pet deposit is actually a deposit for your pets potential damages. There were a couple of minor damages when we left that we assumed would be more than covered by the deposit. Nope, they will bill you for any damages and try and tell you your deposit is actually supposed to be a pet rent.
My roommate and I lived at City Edge for 2 years. Living there was an overall good experience, it was the moving out that was a nightmare. Pros: friendly staff, decently timed maintenance, salt water pool. Cons: 1. towards the last few months of our staying here they started requiring parking passes for all residents, enforcing guests to park in the "guest" parking which is in the VERY back of the complex by the dumpster (sketchiest area of the complex). I having lived in the front of the complex found this ridiculous and was not going to make me guests walk all that way. If you're going to enforce guest parking, you need to have better solutions for that. 2. Office hours are terrible and staff hardly ever returns when the sign on the door says. 3. Between the two of us we paid $350 for a pet deposit for our one dog and one cat. It was to my understanding that that deposit would go towards any minor damages that were accrued in the apartment by said animals. I mean, why else is the deposit, that is twice the amount of the enitial security deposit I might add, required? Well upon moving out I receive a bill of $600 for a list of apartment damages including $70 for a few cat scratches on the wall, $448 for flooring, and $50 for blinds. With no deduction taken out for the pet deposit. Absolutely ridiculous. THEY WILL TAKE ANY MONEY FROM YOU THAT THEY CAN.
MOVING INTO CITY EDGE FLATS WAS THE WORST MISTAKE I COULD OF EVER MADE MOVING WISE. SINCE LIVING IN THESE APARTMENTS FROM DAY 1 IT HAS BEEN NOTHING BUT A HUGE HEADACHE. ALL THE MAINTENANCE PEOPLE DO WHEN YOU PUT IN WORK ORDERS FOR THINGS TO BE FIXED IS LOOK AROUND YOUR APARTMENT FOR ANYTHING OUT OF PLACE LIKE CLOTHES OR BLANKETS AND THEN GO BACK AND TELL THE FRONT OFFICE MANAGMENT THAT YOU HAVE SOMEONE ELSE LIVING IN YOUR APARTMENT. DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE FRONT OFFICE MANAGEMENT BECAUSE THEY ARE A JOKE AS WELL. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT ANY OF YOUR CONCERNS OR QUESTIONS AND THEY TRY TO GET AS MUCH MONEY OUT OF YOU AS POSSIBLE. FOR EXAMPLE THE WATER BILLING HAS NOW WENT TO A FLATT RATE SYSTEM SO IF YOU HAVE TWO ADULTS LIVING IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD WITH TWO CHILDREN NO MATTER WHAT THE AGES YOUR BILL WILL BE $70 A MONTH. WHICH IS RIDICULOUS CONSIDERING THAT WE ARE NOT EVEN HOME THROUGHOUT THE DAY TO USE THAT MUCH WATER. MY TOILET HASNT WORKED IN THE GUEST BATHROOM SINCE AFTER TWO WEEKS OF LIVING THERE AND THE MAINTENANCE MAN SAID THERE WAS NOTHING HE COULD DO ABOUT IT AFTER LOOKING AT IT FOR MAYBE 30 MINUTES. MY DISHWASHER IS NOT POSITIONED RIGHT AND AFTER CONTACTING THE OFFICE ABOUT THAT ALONG WITH A WATER LEAK IN MY MAIN BATHROOM I STILL HAVE NOT SEEN ANYONE COME TAKE A LOOK OR FIX EITHER OF THEM.
Not sure what the negative reviews are about. I've never had a bad experience here. We've had a couple of maintenance issues but they were fixed within a day or two. The place is really well lit & I almost always have an open parking spot in front of my door. The ladies in the office are always attentive & helpful. The bedrooms are a little on the small side, but for the price, it's worth it. My kids absolutely love the pool & the playground plus the big open space in the back to run around. Me & my family really enjoy living here.
terminated 40 tenants leases to renovate villager condos. termination letter gloated gleefully and asked us to rejoice in our good fortune to be getting this notice right before Christmas (cold hearted company) and, after two weeks, "our" apartment would be available (to anyone) for approx. 35% higher monthly rent. they didn't even add a dishwasher, so who cares? owners must not be good people because they chose Christmas to kick everyone out.
They constantly lose our paper work and make us pay 'miscellaneous' fees but can't say what they are for. They tried to have our car towed without giving us a notice for no reason when we were out of town. Our neighbors are loud. Maintence doesn't fix things. We have a water leak in the master bathroom and they tried to tell us that there isn't a leak when the shelves are soaked and you can see water coming out of the pipes. The dishwasher has mold inside of it so or dishes are always dirty. They don't care about what there tenants needs are.
They're very disorganized - tried to make me pay for blind damages twice until I had them go back and check my money order the month I paid for them. They will attempt any way to get extra fees - saying you were late when you weren't, etc. Just save yourself the headache.
Welcome to peaceful living. Great single story apartments in a quiet setting. They are very spacious and no steps is a big plus so they are perfect for anyone with health issues. When it comes to pets they are wonderful. The grounds are well maintained, there is a pool, playground, and an enclosed private dog park. The property management and maintenance men are very attentive to any needs. They are convenient to the grocery store, and a number of fast food restaurants, and gas stations. City Edge Flats is a great place to live.
