Koreatown is a vibrant LA neighborhood fille with hidden gems, bars, eateries, and a collision of cultures. As the name suggests, the atmosphere in Koreatown is heavily influenced by Korean culture. The neighborhood is a favorite destination among foodies city-wide for its endless selection of authentic Korean restaurants, but the community has a much more diverse character than that: the broad range of cultural influences is exemplified in landmarks like the synagogue and contemporary art gallery of the Wilshire Boulevard Temple, the Latin fusion cuisine of Roy Choi’s restaurants, and the popular German/Korean/Hawaiian tinged gastropub, Biergarten.
Although the area is a hot spot for LA residents’ day trips, Koreatown is known as one of the best places to live in LA. Most locals rent their homes and enjoy parks, coffee shops, and stores within walking distance of their apartments.

Property Ratings at City Flats
They just put in a new manager and every time I ask them to fix the apartment they do but just the exterior but nothing to Really fix the problem I have to call them again months after. Their places are overpriced for the neighborhood has drug deals going on in front of the appt. and good luck getting ahold of them. Don't waste your time
Cool place to live with a new lobby and etc. Rent is good and its close to everything..
This is worst place. There is no manager because the last 2 left within a 3 month period,. The elevator that is advertised has been down for the last 3 months. It is very hard to get a hold of someone if something needs to be fixed. The lobby door was vandalized and broken for 3 days so people were locked in and had to use the alley to exit. Since no manager, no one could get a hold of anyone to fix it. The management company does not give their number to anyone. But if you are resourceful it can be found after a bunch of searches and phone calls. After the lobby door got fixed it was constantly slamming day and night for last 2 months until I wrote 2 requests to fix it and called 3 times. The elevator still has not been fixed. The laundry room does not work and the facilities are rickety and rusty . And there's people doing drugs in the common areas where there are kids walking through, like if you are going do that do it your apartment but not out in the hallways. If you do get a hold of the emergency guy and district manager they are rude once you are locked in your lease. Save yourself the trouble. There are better places out there to get locked into a lease with a 60 day notice requirement.
My apartment is in an old brick building build in the 1920s. It has laundry facilities in the basement. My unit is large as studio's go with wood floors, new kitchen and bath. I have large windows but no view. I have a large window air conditioner that I put in. Utilities are included in rent.
In the three years I've lived here, we've changed the manager at least eight times and neither of them ever get back to you with anything. Luckily I managed to get rent control so I snagged a great price before the hipsters moved in and drove up the cost of everything around. There's no parking, laundry room is disgusting and 5 of the 8 machines are usually never working. It used to be a great building, but it seems as though they've let just about anybody move in which has caused graffiti to start and the constant smell of marijuana everywhere. My apartment itself is just gorgeous, such a spacious one bedroom and I've always loved the New York style that building itself has. If I didn't have to go outside of my apartment I'd give it five, but for now all I can give it is a one.
L first off when we were giving the information about the place and what to do. So the head manager gave us inaccurate information about how much rent was going to be each month and told us that we had to pay a particular amount so we go down there and it turns out we gave way more than we we're supposed to because it was actually cheaper. So they said we will prorated and deduct from that as well. We paid everyrhing that day including for the keys. We did not have a permanent manger. Our first month came and we got a permanent manager anyways he was saying we owe money and they we're trying to trick us but luckily we had documents to prove that we don't owe anything and theb soon after we got an eviction notice and he was like don't worry about it than we got another eviction letter. It is stressful living Here. Their are loud little kids running the hallways all day and night who litter trash and plus neighbors playing loud music all afternoon. The worse part we have roaches that seem to have good hiding spots. So we have someone who is only available once a month on the first Wednesday that can spray the place which by the way doesn't even work. . The place has too many open parts and we finally got it sealed. Another issue is that the washer and dryer downstairs is horrible and not to mention they often don't even work properly causing us to use more money. We were supposed to be reimburse for it and never got it even when it didn't work and yet took our money. We even had plumbing issues which was a nightmare. I don't like how if I'm not home and they supposedly come and fix things they don't Leave a note saying they did or not or if they are going to turn off the water they don't even tell us. We have an site manager Monday -Friday 8am-6 pm yet he is never there. He was there when he first started but after a few weeks hardly ever there. Another issue was that we weren't given the access code saying that they didn't want us using it but yet everyone else in the building had the code.If you order online and have things being delivered without that access code you would never receive your packages. So luckily a neighbor gave us the code.Rent might be cheap but it's stressful living here. We don't have parking which is hard to find and we do have an elevator but if you are disabled you will struggle either way both doors are heavy and require you to keep open if you don't want to get hit. it doesn't take you down to laundrymat .
