Giving one star it is insult to this apartment complex doesn't deserve a any stars but a warning sign to future resident . Please whatever you do don't apply to this apartment complex .they will waste your time and your money . this place is big scam they will allow you to go thru whole application process just screw you over. every time you speak to them it is another addition charger add to the price.
These apartments are disgusting they have cockroaches and women who are in the office invade the problems and when you leave they charge you clean when the apartment got wet every time it rained look for better options do not rent to who is disgusting
You do well to stay clear. Of something goes wrong manager knows they will put it on your credit. Even after you followed the rules of notice and on time payment.
Terrible buildings, maintenance is always coming out to check for leaks and mold. they’ve torn up my patio trying to plug concrete cracks saying the rain flooded the apartment below me. my toilet and garbage disposal broke less than a month after moving in. the office is terrible. the finance guy lost multiple rent checks from me and even managed to tell me my own money order bounced!!!! and then told me it was MY fault (3 weeks later) and charged me $300+ late fees every time HE lost the checks. he was a total moron. i would never ever in my life recommend to my worst enemy to live here. the office people are terrible, unforgiving and don’t return calls. you can find a better space/area for a way better price. save yourself for the love of all that is Holy.
I have been living here for 4 months and the whole time, I've been living with roaches. My apartment was crawling with them when I moved in and the sink was filled with hundreds of dead ones like someone had swept them up and dumped them and left them. I didn't even move in on my actual move in day and was told I would be credited for the days I postponed my move in, but that didn't happen. When I called complaining about the bugs, the response I got was "that's weird, there isn't an infestation in that building" from the manager and "well at least give us a chance to fix it" from the corporate office after they had already sprayed and left the dead bugs everywhere before I even moved in. My apartment has been sprayed 4 times by the contracted pest control (which is god awful) and another 3 times by myself and I'm still dealing with this problem. On top of the fact that, under new management, I found out that the whole building has a bug problem. So they lied to me from the jump. The new management is a lot better than the old and the new employees are definitely an upgrade, but they don't make up for living with roaches. I've seen other reviews about people having the same bug problem as me. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
Pros: Cheap Cons: Roach infested They make you pay for maintenance High Crime. Mailboxes and cars will be broken into. Awful landlord!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your car WILL be towed for no reason! (The land lord towed my car for no reason, I have gone through a legal battle with them on an illegal tow hearing and won. However they refuse to pay so now I have to hire a lawyer and sue them. This landlord should be in jail.) Landlord will rob you blind. There are hidden fees and fines everywhere on this lease!!! beware!!!!
PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE MAINTENANCE , OFFICE STAFF AND THE APARTMENTS ARE HORRIBLE! I've rented two different apts from them and neither was better than the other. CRAWLING WITH ROACHES (tub, kitchen ,bedroom) the water smells like sewage, the parking/towing is horrible, and now they have all these unnecessary fees (water bill late fee is $50 and the "patio violation" is just as high) . My A/C went out and it took them two days to find the right person to fix it after I threatened to get my M/O back & in both of my apts the ceiling leaked as a result from rain and they never sent anyone to fix it but ended up charging me for damages . The neighbors in my building our loud , they run up and down the stairs all night and random people always come by knocking on my door or twisting my doorknob. My lease is up 12/31/16 and I SWEAR i will not re-sign or refer anyone!!
Poor management is just the start of problems you'll have here Parking - awful and they will tow guests Unpet friendly - they charge pet rent but then threaten to evict dog owners - what is the rent for (there's not like a dog park or anything) Maintaince - good luck, hope you like hot Texas nights In a year they've never sprayed for bugs and we found shortly after we moved in that there's no seals around the doors - so - bugs Just a bad place to live
my first expression of city limits was great 2 pools including an indoor. A computer in the office to use and a gym. It was not until a week of moving in I started to notice the the amount of work the apartment needed and how slowly they are doing it if you like being woken up by someone banging on your roof for 4 months then this place is great or if listening to grinders and welders on your days off this is for you. But if that is not enough they will tow your car for any reason. Just to make your stay a little better someone will come and slash the tires on your car. The ac has gone out multiple times as well as hot water. Seems they use the hot water for the indoor pool nobody uses. would highly recommend for my eniems.

Thank you for your comment... Our one of a kind indoor swimming pool is open year round and is heated by an electrical heat pump! We do not resort to using any other methods. Also, the noises you are experiencing is the result of work that is being done to the property during normal business hours, and as for your a/c and hot water, please make sure to contact our 24 hour maintenance emergency line to ensure we are aware of your situation, and it gets resolved quickly. Also, to avoid being towed, Please make sure your visitors are parked in a "VISITORS ONLY" marked parking space, and please DO NOT park illegally, as those are the only reasons why you or your guest would be towed from our community! -City Limits Management
Although the area on 75287 has a 50% higher crime rate than the rest of the country, the community on City Limits Apartments it's very quite and so far safe, at least I haven't heard of any burglaries or assaults. A good thing. The buildings are old and they need some repair, but there is not that "impossible to live" issues with the structures. The driveways are alright, there is only one entrance/exit. Parking is tough after 11:59pm, I have always find a spot inside the complex, but far from my building. Management seems overworked because of short staff, most of the time when you ask him how he's doing, he will replay with a "just fine", so I understand, it's a lot to take care of. Maintenance its always working hard, making the place better. I'm living alone and for the price, I wouldn't ask for more. My lease its up in a few month and I'm thinking in renewing.
The office management is really nice. I am unsure of the manager's name but he is very nice. When I need to pick up a package they already know my name and greet me by it. I had a small leak in my roof and maintance was able to fix and repair my sheet rock good as new. Overall I am very happy with my living choice and plan to renew my lease. Thanks apartments.com! :)
The space is small and amenities are older, but for the price it's alright. The washer and dryer make life much easier. I always find parking. Maintenance has taken care of my needs.
It is a quiet place know one bothers you, the staff there is good they work with you and help you with all your needs and problems. I haven't had any problems yet and I hope it stays that way. I Love it here.
I have been at City Limits in Far North Dallas for almost 5 years now. The complex is quite and the management responds quickly with any issues that I have had. There is a great indoor pool, with a retractable roof, a nice area to sit or swim if you like. There is also a very good sized hot tub just outside of the pool area. The landscaping is always nice with lots of flowers around the pool area.
Went to look at the apartments and the community was good. Liked the property and the staff was very nice. When my husband and I went to view the 2 bedroom apartment it had awesome size bedrooms and closest space. The only one thing I was not pleased was with the like living room space. Way too small, we have two children and I know for a fact it was not going to work for us. This may be for a couple of roommates that may not be home so often. The rest of the things was great.
