City of Industry, also referred to as just Industry, is known as the economic hub of the San Gabriel Valley. Located between West Covina and Hacienda Heights, Industry is almost entirely industrial (shocker), which is why its official population count is only in the low hundreds. However, there are some residences in the city, which is a popular choice among commuters and those who value convenience to an array of suburban amenities.

Incorporated in 1957, Industry is home to the Puente Hills Mall, which was featured in the Back to the Future film series as “Twin/Lone Pine(s) Mall.” The city offers a wide variety of eateries, as well as convenience to outdoor destinations such as Peter F. Schabarum Regional Park, Pantera Park, and Whittier Narrows Recreation Area. Quick access to the Metrolink’s Riverside Line in addition to the 10, 60, and 605 freeways makes getting around from Industry a breeze.
