We haven’t been here a full week yet, but so far so good! Marisol and Julia in the office have been beyond helpful and we had two maintenance issues that needed to be addressed and were very quickly. Carlos and the other maintenance worker (I missed his name) were very friendly and efficient. We absolutely love the location and being able to walk to the grocery store, the Plaza, 39th Street, and of course Westport. We have been eating almost every meal on our patio, we have given our dogs baths, dipped in the pool, and next week when we are settled in (we are still unpacking), we intend to hit the gym. The extra storage has been so nice (and necessary), and we love having a garage (maybe someday we will be unpacked and can park in it LOL). It has been a rather dramatic downsize for us as new empty-nesters moving from a 3-level 7 bedroom Colonial to a 2 bedroom apartment, but we are loving it so far and can easily imagine staying here for years.
Love living here - great location and a great apartment! It’s close to lots of great food and a short drive to downtown. Also, the front staff is very friendly and helpful!

Staff is always top notch. The pool is fun and large enough to have your own space most of the time. Apartments have decently thick walls and typically aren't too noisy and most neighbors are friendly. I've been here for almost 6 years, and we really enjoy living here. Neighborhood has gone downhill over recent years with car break ins, thefts, and shootings in westport, but it does seem like the property is trying to make it safer with new security. Dog waste sometimes can be an issue, especially when the maintenance forgets to refill the waste bag stations. But they have dog waste trashcans, which is a plus.
My time at City Place has been exceptional. From day 1 the office has been attentive. I am moving out later this month but this community is 5 star always. Every maintenance issue I had was handled quick. They have always been super responsive. The location is amazing and the price is just not that bad. It can be a bit pricey pending on what all you get like garage etc. But it’s well worth it.
Great location and the maintenance workers are lovely. Very helpful when we have had issues in our apartment. The noise from the apartment above is loud.
Mostly good. Charging for parking should come with assigned spots and enforcement, and the pool is a “paradise island’ reality/nightmare. I like most of my neighbors and staff, but I moved to a complex hoping for better management. I get charged fines for porch curtains or torn trash bags (pay for ‘valet trash’. Yet they tear it!). It’’s just shady we can’t opt out of valet trash or parking, even if we do our own trash and have to park 3 blocks away?!?? We have ‘security’ who barely have presence and if they do happen by or get called, they just give warnings that don’t matter unless they’re parked there less than 30 minutes! Not very happy with that, but love my apartment and most of my neighbors! For Westport, it’s generally above average, but for the price and “hidden required fees,” I expect better.
So far so good, only thing is we wished for more clear instructions on how everything works and when things are due etc. in the move in process
City Place is a modern styled apartment complex. Each building is locked and only residents in the building have access which feels secure. The complex is also very walkable to numerous food and coffee shops as well as a grocery store. I recently moved in and have enjoyed the location and my apartment immensely!
We feel fortunate to have found City Place. The office staff and maintenance are responsive, and the amenities are excellent. I see us renewing, and calling City Place our home for the next year, easily.
Everything has been wonderful and Jessica has been amazing. community is so amazing my apartment I love so much my favorite part of my apartment is my balcony. I can’t wait to soak the sun up. I’m happy that I chose this area.

City Place has been the best home for me so far! I love all the amenities and all the resident events! I love how close everything is. The open floor plans are beautiful and very spacious. 10/10 recommend City Place at Westport.

Very nice place to live. The property is clean and the maintenance team has always fixed any problems I have at very quick timely manner. In the summer time the pool is taken care of and clean.
Apartments are great and the community is nice and respectful to each other. The staff in the office is very quick to respond to any questions or inquiry. The maintenance is extremely responsive and normally fixes problems the day of or within a day or two. I have lived here for almost 6 years and the only consideration I've had for moving was the westport area has become a bit less safe and I had some problems with the new ownership increases rents too much last year. Luckily this year their rental increases were back to normal/to be expected ranges.
Overall, Ron and I enjoy living here, and feel safe in our neighborhood. We love the responsiveness of the office, particularly for any maintenance requests.
We have only just moved in, but I can say that the process of visiting, applying, signing our lease, and then obtaining our keys has been the smoothest I've ever experienced. The Leasing professionals have always been very responsive and helpful to all my questions. We are very happy with how clean our apartment was when we moved in and they made a follow up call to make sure it all went well. I highly recommend this complex based on that alone!
I feel safe and service is great quite place is clean and I notice person in office are very helpful nice to know they’re there to help and good service at times needed. It’s been almost four months that I’ve been here so far City place have been a nice place to be living here, I’m very glad to be here.
It is great so far! Loved everyone in the leasing department, they kept us informed, they were fun and welcoming. Maintenance were quick. Fun pool parties. 10/10.
The staff at city place is very friendly and made the process very easy. Apartment is a little run down that’s why it didn’t get full marks but the location and amenities are great.
We spent a long time looking for a place that had the amenities and atmosphere that justified the expense of moving. With City Place, we found it, and the proximity to the places we shop and our work made the move a smart one. Plus, the office and maintenance staff are always courteous and requests are replied to in a timely and efficient manner. We feel lucky to call CPW our home.
City Place in Westport is an ideal location in the city with easy access to the Plaza, Crossroads Arts District, downtown, and the freeways. I also enjoy the peace and quiet in the community.

I’ve lived at CityPlace at Westport for a few years now and it’s a great spot to call home. It’s an ideal midtown location with a perfect walk down to the Plaza or Loose Park or over to Westport, and an easy commute both to downtown and the suburbs. Property management is responsive, and I’ve routinely been blown away by the print response facilities team is in responding to requests. The amenities are wonderful and the apartment itself is beautiful as well. I will miss this place when the time comes to move out.
Touring, applying, and moving in were easy and great! The property staff are very quick to respond to emails and phone calls and have gone above and beyond to make sure my moving experience went well. My apartment is clean and updated and appeared to be well taken care of. For being in Westport, it’s pretty quiet, but we are down the street from a fire station. Either way, definitely an upgrade from my previous apartment.

I've spent almost three years in these apartments and never had issues. Management had always been respectful and spoke to me when I came to the office. Problems began to start a few months before I moved out. I had neighbors below me that seemed to be sensitive to every noise made above them. Those neighbors would complain to management and management would notify me. I had no problem resolving the issue but after the initial complaint, there were several more addressed to me. Some were understandable and some were stupid. Given the area we live in and the fact I’m on the third floor, it is expected to hear some noise. However, it seemed that for every complaint made, management was quick to notify me. Once I notified the apartments I was not renewing my lease, I noticed management was not as respectful and stopped speaking when I would come into the office. When another complaint was made by my neighbor, management called me and spoke to me like I was a child and not a loyal tenant. I let the issue go because I was happy to be moving but my last day there was the worst. Management had notified me before moving I had until the 15th to move. On the last day, I was still moving but was asked several times that day to return the apartment keys even though I still had stuff to move. I left for thirty minutes to drop my dogs off at a friend's. When I got back I used my other set of keys to the apartment but the locks were changed. I was annoyed because no one told me they were changing the locks. No one asked if I had gotten everything either when I returned the keys. I spoke to the manager over the phone who told me that was their process. She spoke to me so rudely telling me I was supposed to leave the day before and that they already have new people ready to lease the apartment. She said I would have to come the next day because they were closing. Mind you I rented a U-Haul and had to return it the next day. We argued over the phone for a minute until I decided to hang up. I couldn’t believe the place I had called home for three years treated me so badly. I would not recommend living here as the management is rude, disrespectful, and has poor communication. You’re fine as long as ur a tenant but once you get a complaint or move they could care less about you.

Car got broken into often. Maintenance is friendly and fast. Lots of homeless in the area. Wouldn't stay here again.

Its great. I like the apartment and facility. Everyone is really good in the leasing office. Game area is good and we are playing many games there.

Since moving in, City Place has been amazing! Any issues we’ve had with the apartment, they’ve had maintenance out to fix immediately. My roommate and I are so so impressed! The community here is very kind and welcoming :)

After a month of living here I can already tell it’s a major upgrade over my previous place. Management is easy to get a hold of and the apartments are worth the price considering the quality and location.

Lovely people and management, everyone is super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this complex to all of my post grad friends. Fun location as well, close to bars, restaurants and stores. Also a ton of dogs which is always fun.
