It has a great views and modern interiors. You can enjoy staying the location because it highlight the amenities and there is a vibrant living option with great city access.
I lived here for 4 years. The location is the perfect compromise between a quiet and peaceful place and close to everything like grocerie stores, Newport on the levee, downtown Cincinnati etc... The new managment does a great job! They make things moving in the right way: they constantly upgrade things, the maintenance is quick, they organise social parties... Relaxing on my balcony in the evening, with the skyline view is my favorite.
I love it here! The view is great, and it’s a very central location, close to everything! Chrissy has been very helpful with everything my roommate and I have needed. And she did a great job answering ALL of our questions and making us feel comfortable before we moved in.
City View is a great place to live. The view of the city is incredible and the people who live there are wonderful as well. Gwendolyn, the apartment manager is amazing. She takes her job very seriously and is very accommodating to the needs of the residents. Overall City View is a great place to live and I would highly recommend it.
Love the view and location. Close to lots of stores, bars and entertainment. Nice that the commute is only a couple of miles to downtown and you don't have to get on the highway. Everything is well maintained. Small complex in a residential neighborhood makes you feel like part of the community. Nice that it is surrounded by old growth trees so close to the city. The Roeses throughout the complex are beautiful and bloom all season. Parking for residents is but for guests not the greatest. But the office will deliver your requested guest passes to your doorstep which is nice. Is a great location to watch the fireworks on the river. The landlord was there all day meeting/greeting guests and residents and making sure everyone enjoyed the day.
City View is okay but overpriced. The view is why. Decks are deteriorating, need to be stained. Community grills are disgusting. Towing company that patrols parking lot consistently tows resident vehicles and charges us when we have a pass. Towne Properties does nothing above and beyond the bare minimum. Can't wait to move out.

Thank you for the review. I'm sorry that you have some concerns here at City View. We are careful to price our homes at a competitive rate to those communities around us that offer similar amenities. We renovated the decks in 2014, but will be sure to look into the budget for next year so we can stain them. We do not have reports of cars without passes being towed. We offer the amenity of free, off-street parking to all residents. We do not charge an additional monthly fee for this amenity and residents are issued a parking permit in order to take advantage of this offer. Residents, in return, are obligated to properly display the permit. City View would not be able to offer this amenity if it did not enforce removal of vehicles not properly displaying their parking permit. Since July 2016, all new residents have been required to sign Towne’s Parking & Storage Facilities License Addendum which includes the following term, “The Resident understands that the parking facility is designated as a private tow-a-way zone, so that Local and State Laws shall apply with regard to this area. Management reserves the right to tow any vehicles which are in violation of the aforementioned rules and regulations.” The rule is uniformly enforced and no vehicle with a properly displayed permit has been towed. I'm sorry you feel we are doing only the bare minimum. We are working on our budget and hope to be approved for many upgrades. I am the new manager and live very close to the community. I am doing my best to make my community presence known. I would love to speak with you more in-depth about your concerns so I can work to address them. City View has a great view (from the pool/deck/patio area) and it is a decent apartment complex. I lived there for two years and enjoyed my time. The managers keep the property relatively clean and the environment is usually very quiet. It is a short commute to downtown. On the downside, two of the buildings are older and not renovated. Over the two years I lived there, we had three different property management companies; so lot of turnover, for better and for worse. Also, over the last six months that I lived there, my roommate and I had troubles with mice on several occasions (and we did not live on the ground floor). Our neighbors around us reported similar issues. Management did not seem to care and did not offer any help or solution.

Most apartments have a name that has little to do with the actual apartment itself. More often than not its some sort of tree, yet that tree is nowhere to be found within a hundred miles. City View Apartments is exactly how it sounds. By far the best view of the city I have ever seen and its right in the back yard. The best part about the view is you can swim and grill out while taking a look. The view isnt the only thing the location has to offer. City view is located right in the heart of Newport. Its a 2 minute drive to anything you need. City view offers a wide range of apartment options. All of which are well kept and up to date. Service is a call away and there in a timely manner. Need a light bulb replaced...you got it. City view as far as I can see has it all. Great neighbors, great service, great view, and a great experience. Overall City view is a great place to call home and I plan on making it my home for years to come.
