Property Ratings at City View Vinings Apartments
This property is not managed well. Whoever they use as contractors to repair the "constantly" broken gate (either side - exit or entrance) apparently do not know what they are doing. You also run the risk of being hit head on if you are exiting and a non-resident is coming through the exit gate. Then you have to worry about non-residents parking on your level and you the resident having to park somewhere else. Mind you - you are paying a monthly fee to park in a garage that has not seen a cleaning in years. There are other well managed apartments that not only talk the talk, but they walk it.

My wife and I loved living here but are essentially being forced out due to a $400 rent increase. It is pretty insane and it sucks.
Property Manager at City View Vinings Apartments, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your response. We are happy to hear you enjoyed your time at City View, but we are disappointed your experience has reflected anything but 5-stars. Many on our team are renters, too, and we understand rent increases are rarely welcomed. We work hard to ensure our residents can be confident in their decision to stay with us and see a true value in calling City View their home based on the amenities, services, and sense of community we offer. If you would like to discuss these concerns or any others, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at 678-539-0901. Thanks again, City View Vinings Team
This complex is by far my worst rental experience of my life. Theft is a real problem in the parking garage.. had all 4 wheels stolen off my truck. Gate constantly has problems. Shooting on property. TERRIBLE office staff. Steer clear.
My wife, dog and I have been living at City View Vinings for 7 months and we’re having a great experience. Nice apartments and the leasing office is very helpful whenever we need support. Technical maintenance does a great job too.
I've been living a City View for a little over four months now and I have to say If you are looking for a place that is modern, clean and pet friendly well this is the place. Great pool area to enjoy, pool tables among others. The leasing and maintenance team are very professional and courteous. if you come for a viewing ask for Alex or Cassidy, they are very professional and have gone above and beyond to ensure that my relocation was stress free, that I really find the place that would fit my needs. Still, four months after moving date they always ask how things are going and if everything is to my liking. Many places once you sign the contract you can feel as if they already have you and do not care. Well not at City View. We also have social events a very small, friendly and professional community.

my account is constantly messed up. before i make any payment i have to inspect it like a forensic accountant. sometimes the office staff is nice sometimes not so much. you get gouged for every little thing... like vale trash. which i dont need nor want, i can take it myself and most of the time i do. alot of residents are not picking up after their pets which is disappointing. i honestly wish i didnt move here. i regret it so much. my apartment wasnt totally move in ready either... just for two little examples there were paint stains scattered throughout the floor and in the bathroom. i cleaned it myself with nail polish remover. several of the cabinets were not installed proper and are loose or misaligned. i did a radon test (only bc there is a radon test in the lease) and this building does have radon... which causes lung cancer. also there are people parking in the parking deck without a pass which is unfair to people that pay and takes up valuable spots we residents need. sometimes people that dont live here take over the pool and make me not want to be in the people. i moved here with the high rent expecting a safer and more desirable area and for the most part it is but then some people are here and ruin it. my advice is to look elsewhere like i should have.

Hi Danny, thank you for sharing your feedback. Please be assured that we test for and are compliant with EPA radon standards. If your test is showing otherwise, please send it to us for review at cityviewmgr@nals.com. We want all our residents to feel happy in their home and that is why we resolved the $14 difference in your lease rate and submitted a work order to adjust your cabinets right away. The maintenance team would have gladly performed the work request. Any time you have a maintenance issue, please feel free to submit a work request and the team most often completes work orders that same day or next day during the work week. Sincerely, The City View Vinings Team
I took a tour of the property today and the lady showing me around felt extremely burdened in doing so. I had to ask for a tour of the common areas and she couldn't seem to be more unhappy at the request. She didn't even show me the complete property and while we were walking around she was extremely quiet, as if her job was a major burden on her life. I have seen more than 10 properties in the neighborhood and this was by far the worst experience, should be rated as "the bottom 1% property staff".

Hi Jason, I am so sorry that you had a bad experience. I am the District Manager and I was here on April 29, 2019 and introduced myself to every one who toured the community. I also wasn't able to find any information with the name, Jason K. that toured City View Vinings. We keep everything in our system and enter guest's information that also includes desired features in order to meet your needs. I can't help but come to the conclusion you meant to review City View Atlanta. If this is not the case, I would love for you to call us directly at 678.539.0901, so I can discuss your experience and see how the City View Vinings Team can earn your confidence. Thank you. - Kellie H., District Manager.
If you are looking for an outstanding place to live with a great professional team that provide excellent customer service but yet fun and empathetic to yours needs then this is that place for you. My wife and I have been here for 2 1/2 years and the team have been nothing but wonderful to us. When we put in work orders right away, when we made suggestions for different events for the residents they have tried to make it happened. They staff works diligently to make our stay as if we were staying on an resort.. I love ?? ???? the staff her.. I am veerrry big on customer services and they truly try to go over and beyond within reason for their residents. Thank you all sooo much..

Hi Cyn, thank you so much for sharing your experience at City View! We appreciate your residency and we will continue to strive to provide you with the best experience possible. Please don't hesitate to reach out if there is anything we can do for you! Thanks again, The Team at City View Vinings
Tons of false fire alarms. Hopefully this has been fixed. Dog poop all over the grounds. Also vinyl flooring on all floors with lack of proper insulation in between. Enjoy spending top $$$$ to hear your upstairs neighbor's heavy walking, pacing back and forth through their unit, and in general clumsiness day in day out. Asked other neighbors and they've pretty much told me they experience the same. Was pretty much dissatisfied my first week of moving here but due to hefty fines for breaking lease I have been forced to dread coming home for the past few months. If you choose to not heed my warning make sure you get a top floor unit. Advice for management: 1. Include a 30 day satisfaction clause like some of the other prominent apartments in the area, where if you are unsatisfied for any reason you can break lease at no cost. 2. Require residents to place an area rug in the living space or just do proper insulation between floors. I know this will probably cost you a pretty penny addressing the flimsy floor issue but at these rent prices this should be a non issue. I haven't heard a false alarm in about a week so maybe we have made progress on that front.
Property Manager at City View Vinings Apartments, Responded To This Review
Hi there, thank you for your candid review. We have made some strides regarding the alarms and we are hopeful that this is behind us. But we will continue to update you, and all of our residents if the alarms continue to be an issue. We are disappointed to hear that you are not having a 5-star experience. Please give us a call at 678.539.0901 or come down to the office so that we can work together to improve your experience. We look forward to hearing from you, The Team at City View
Horrible customer service, and I would never in life stay at a place like this. A young girl named Alex attitude is the worse, and when I came in to ask about the apartment she wasn't very polite. She was very short with me, looked at me crazy the whole time, when I asked about the prices she said "This community is for people who have no issue with whatever price it is". SERIOUSLY? She was busy tending to other people, I guess her friends and acting like I was interrupting their conversation. The other lady that work there who look young with black hair had a nasty attitude as well, and rolled her eyes at me. How is it possible management have kids working at this place not knowing how to give good customer service? I am appalled at how I was treated, and I will be making sure that they both are reported to corporate. These reviews probably are fake, and are from their friends. The way I was treated was the total opposite from these reviews. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This place look nice, but the people that work here are HORRIBLE!
New management is terrible. Has already raised the rent and I'm sure more rent increases are coming. The new manager Ora or whatever her name is terrible. She got horrible reviews from the last complex she was at on S. Cobb Drive and she is no better here. This place only wants your money. Do not care about the residents at all. Walls are paper thin and the price is totally ridiculous. Old staff was very nice and friendly, this staff is the total opposite. We suppose to have a courtesy officer but I've never seen him. And if there is a break in they will simply say u must of left your door unlocked. We had 2 cars get all of the rims and tires stolen from them on the same night in the parking deck. Yes the parking deck they charge us $10 A month for. Please stay far away. There are much nicer cheaper apartments in the area.
It's a good community but expensive for people who don't use the amenities. Charging extra for parking is just silly. I love that everything is kept clean at all times.
Amenities and office staff were awesome. The one thing that is hard to foster is a real sense of community. Lack of community feeling from residents/ most of them were not friendly or open to meeting new people/making new connections/friends.
The location is great and I love living in a new and updated complex but I'm not happy with some of the other residents, particularly the residents below me. The noise level is sometimes and issue and is not always resolved. Some residents invite their whole family over and take over the pool area and other common areas where it is uncomfortable for others to try and grill or be in the area. Overall I like the complex but am unhappy with the other residents.
