Property Ratings at CityPark View
In my personal opinion, the apartment fails to live up to the standards depicted in its advertisements. Despite initial appeal, the actual condition falls short, with outdated features and malfunctioning appliances. The discrepancy between expectation and reality is evident. I hope this feedback serves as a cautionary note for potential renters.

Anytime I have any questions or need help with anything Marcus and the team always come to my aid! They are super helpful with ensuring I am comfortable and happy in my space. The property is super safe, close to my work, and everything is modern and clean! My favorite place I’ve stayed in Charlotte yet!

I really like my unit so that is why my rating is not lower - though appliances are simple compared to other complexes I lived in… buuuut the valet trash drags bags down the corridors causing leakage that the complex has not bothered cleaning in the almost six months I’ve been here. They don’t even seem to bother to blow the leafs and other debris that accumulates over time. The dog park is also filthy and not worth the risk of stepping into. I complained and they picked up the waste but they didn’t bother actually cleaning anything that is still set into the turf.

This is a beautiful complex. Although my husband & i choose elsewhere i can not go without saying how awesome the office property managers were (Taki). She was warm, friendly & had all the answers for our questions. Very professional yet comfortable with her expertise in her job.
Property Manager at CityPark View, Responded To This Review
Thank you for touring and sharing such kind words for Taki! We'll be sure to pass this along, and we wish you all the best in your new home.
Not going to say much because at this point really considering hiring a lawyer. Still haven’t received my refund that was stated, highlighted etc upon applying that would be refunded if denied. I have emailed, called multiple times and it’s been a month and no response. Beautiful property, poor management!

DO NOT LIVE HERE. My roommates car was stolen last week while parked right under our window in the parking lot. There is no security even though CityPark advertises 24 hour security. The “24 hour security” is a parked and empty cop car that sits in the same place for weeks and also there is no surveillance or cameras anywhere to be found. The leasing office still has not answered or returned our numerous phone calls and e-mails about the incident and have not notified the other residents even though 3 other residents had there windshields broken on the same night. This place is not safe.
Property Manager at CityPark View, Responded To This Review
Thank you for sharing your experience. We are truly sorry about what happened to your roommate's car. We always encourage residents to contact the authorities if they witness suspicious behavior. If you would like to discuss this or anything else, you are welcome to email us at cityparkview.mgr@pacapts.com.
City Park view has a great maintenance team. My roommate and I have had unexpected things that needed to be fixed within a certain amount of time and they came to fix it in a matter of a couple days, if that long, plus they came and fix our problems with ease. Both Marcus and Christopher did a great job !
Property Manager at CityPark View, Responded To This Review
Thank you for taking the time to share your excellent remarks. We are thrilled to know that Marcus and Christopher were able to assist you and ensure your satisfaction in your home. We appreciate your support!
Been here for a few years. The main office and maintenance team is always great. Shantel, & Semone* (may be spelled wrong)are always helpful. Recently, had an issue with my fridge and Christopher came but and took care of it.He was very pleasant, respectful and knowledgeable or what he needed to do.
Property Manager at CityPark View, Responded To This Review
We're so glad to hear you have been well served by our team, and we will pass your praise along to Shantel, Semone, and Christopher! Thank you for sharing your feedback as a loyal resident. If we can enhance your experience in any way, please let us know.
2 years and BOTH pools are always closed during summer because "the levels" are off.. How about using chlorine like the rest of the apartments. Also they NEVER answer their phones.
When we first moved here over a year ago, we absolutely loved our apartment. We still do. The management staff is friendly and maintenance generally responds in a day or less. The amenities are pretty great as well. But, the walls seem to be super thin. We had terrible neighbors that were up at all hours of the night... We would hear loud talking, their headboard banging up against our bedroom wall and who knows what else from 12-5 in the morning. We’ve had to call the office, courtesy officer, the police, and even go over there ourselves, but they continued to be disrespectful. They would always tell the leading office they were asleep. I’ll just say, hope for better neighbors than we had.
Did I just visit a doctor's office or an apartment leasing office? I've never been to a leasing office that only gives apartment tours by appointment. I've got news for you all, your apartment complex is not superior to the many others in the area so get off your high horse. You all aren't doctors so don't act like 30 minute appointments per prospective resident are necessary. Turning people away who are already there potentially ready to sign a lease upon touring aren't going to come back with an appointment. Instead, they will just use that time to tour other apartment complexes and sign a lease elsewhere. What a horrible way of doing business. You all are losing business! No wonder why you all have so much vacancy. Poor business practices, rude staff, and overpriced "luxury" apartments. This was the worst experience that I've ever had at a leasing office. The staff member that I interacted with was so rude. Very apathetic, cold, and unwelcoming. Leasing office staff should be smiling and hospitable. Rude staff members who don't even bother getting up from their desk to greet you at the entrance gives potential residents a bad first impression since nobody wants to deal with unhelpful leasing office staff during their lease term. Please consider a first come, first served touring policy or at least accept walk-ins when the leasing office is empty, like how it was when your staff member refused to give me a tour. I was able to tour all six other apartments I visited that day simply by walking in, and I can tell you every single one of them are more likely to get my business than you.
This company has roped me into renting a brand new apartment with a one a half month free rent promise. Then after charging the highest non-refundable application fee I have seen at any of the places I visited told me I had to give them Two months Deposit(more than $2,400!!!) My credit score is average, and I haven't had a late payment since the end of the recession 5 years ago... I also have been with my current company for over 5 years and make a fairly good amount of money. I really feel like they are taking advantage of me and pulled a total bait and switch because they are having a hard time filling the new apartments and need the money. I am very disappointed right now.
This Complex is great! The Manager is super sweet go to her she is awsome! the Community Rec room and pool area is great, w/ lots of great features. The only complaint i have is the New Construction thats going up in front of and behind the complex. There is a hotel going up and the construction crew starts there noise and yelling at 7am Mon-Sat, its annoying if u are trying to sleep in. But overall its a great open complex with lots of space and style, plus you are tight next to the huge Rennisance Park so at night its quiet and relaxing.
If you like receiving compliments on your apartment this is the place for you. Every new visitor tells me how attractive it is. And I love living here. High ceilings and thick column boarders makes furniture look even more filling. The fitness center is very nice, all glass, if you like to workout. It's not huge but still a good size for 4-6 people at a time. Most of the staff are extremely nice.
I have lived here for 7 months and think this is the best apartment I have lived in . The staff here are more than that they are more like family from leasing to maintance.my neighbors are friendly and quiet, the complex is very well kept as is my apartment when ever I had a maintenance issue they where here that day and it was fixed at the same time( great maintenance staff)the ladies in the front office are always friendly and helpful in all respects. In closing if you looking for an apartment in the charlotte aera I highly recommend this one thank you
I love the Apartments they are new and very spacious! The staff and rec center are awsome and they occasionally have partys and pizza night, to help with getting to know your neighbors. Also the complex is right next to a huge park. The only complaint I have is the sorrounding Construction. There is a hotel going up right in front of the complex, that start work as early as 5am with loud construction noises and now townhouses going up in the back.(But I know if your faceing construction they do discount the rent.) Other Than that its a great place to live.
This is a brand new apartment complex, by a park, a golf course and a farmer's market. It's however not in walking distance of anything else: shopping centers a few miles away, rail station about 3 miles away, a bus stop half mile away, and a few mile drive to some parkway or highways and the airport. It's bit of noisy during the day or evening with the airport within a few miles range though. But if you like a plenty of open spaces, green surroundings and parking, or like doing some biking, walking or running everyday, this is just a perfect place. They also provide recycle bins, which may attract some environment conscious people like me to live here. The rent is a little high, but I got a move-in discount and special, which made up my mind for moving in. So far, I am loving here.
