At first glance, Downtown Dallas is similar to many other major cities: Pedestrians rush along wide sidewalks while traffic pulses along the busy streets, towering buildings of glass mix with more historic structures with ornate arches and porticos, and high-end boutiques sit next to sidewalk cafes with jaunty awnings. But then you notice the difference … it isn't the inordinate amount of pickup trucks or the occasional business suit paired with cowboy boots, but it's the sheer size of Downtown Dallas.
Unlike most downtown city centers, this isn't a compact mix of buildings that quickly lead elsewhere -- in fact, Downtown Dallas has grown so much over the year that in now includes 15 distinct districts. Downtown Dallas is wrapped by interstates, with I-35E to the south and I-30 to the south and east.

Property Ratings at CITYSCAPE PARK
Horrible place to live. I lived here since 2021. It had potential at the time- gorgeous design and modern look. However, I wasn’t from the area and didn’t realize it is in a ROUGH part of town. Since then management has changed upwards of 4 times, getting worse with every turnover. There were times when the hvac filters were routinely changed out to- not at all. Pest control used to spray each unit and I hadn’t seen them in the last year and a half I was there. But of course you’ll still get the monthly bill for all this. We had carpeted halls with no valet trash. The residents began leaving their rotting trash bags in the hall for several days at a time, with leaks onto the carpets and no consequence. There’s dog poop everywhere. It was embarrassing to have people over because they would complain about smells in the stairways. My unit had a ceiling leak at least 3 times while I lived there. Twice they had to completely tear out the drywall and patch it up. I had the ac go out in the middle of the Texas summer multiple times. The current leasing staff- Tina and Jasmine are so horrible, I’m glad to have left. I have never walked by the office and not seen Tina on her cellphone and she seems annoyed to have to deal with anything. Jasmine was a new hire and had the most horrendous attitude- i don’t know how she can speak to people in the most degrading tone and not feel badly. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. To make matters worse, I left my place absolutely spotless and was charged $150 for ‘cleaning and paint touch up.’ I cleaned that place on my hands and knees and filled in all the nail holes. And to charge me for ‘paint touch up’ when those walls/ceiling had damage from all their leaks is daytime robbery. Of course they don’t reply to multiple emails about these issues so here I am. If you want to live in an overpriced apartment that smells of wet dog and weed with no one in the leasing office giving a crap about your basic requests- sign up!!
This complex is literally everything I want! It is clean and quiet, the building is so small it makes you feel right at home. When renting, I’ve always felt so uncomfortable with coming and going from my apartment because I didn’t want to bother any neighbors or the staff and I haven’t always felt safe. But this building is secure access and in the coolest neighborhood away from the noise and litter that typically comes with living downtown. I can’t see myself moving out of the Cedars neighborhood and I will officially only ever live at the properties owned by my current management company here!
Property Manager at CITYSCAPE PARK, Responded To This Review
Hello, Thank you so much for your kind review. We hope to have you grow with us as our neighborhood community builds! Thank you, Cityscape Park Management
I’m a busy person so for me to make time to write a review means my experience went extremely well or extremely bad. First impression was the very welcoming greeting from Rodrick L. The energy and professionalism he possesses is top tier. The property has amazing views. The two units I was able to check out had great views of downtown and so much natural lighting. The units are very modern with high ceilings, and the digital fireplace is a pretty dope feature. Having seen the units virtually, I liked the properly already, but having seen it in person, with Rodrick there to make the experience so much better leaving little room for questions because he explains so well, pretty much sold me. A great property that will make you want to cancel your other scheduled tours.
I live here and came to apartments.com to show one of my friends pics of the property. Normally I wouldn't need to leave a review because I have not seen a bad one yet until today. I seen someone say the building has roaches. This is so confusing to me because our property manager legit had mandatory pest control inspections (which at first I thought was weird until my sister told me her building did those too). but anyway, I just renewed my lease because I luv how quite and clean/ new the building is. And we are close to everything! The only cons I have had here is not having a fenced off dog park (i have a husky) and since roof top cinema club is using the park we do not have that anymore only grassy areas. Also, not having a pool (but I haven't really noticed) and I wish I had a bath tub and that at lease one bedroom had carpet. Other than that I could not had asks for a better 1st apartment.
Property Manager at CITYSCAPE PARK, Responded To This Review
Hi there! Thank you for your review. We loved having roof top cinema club around and hope to have them back in our neighborhood again soon. We do not have a pool or fenced in pet area at this building right now but stay tuned for our future projects opening up next year. Also, Lee Harveys Dive Bar is now open, check it out! Thank you, Cityscape Park Management
I cant wait to move into my new place!! This building is so close to downtown where I work, literally less than 5 min. Plus it is right near the Dallas farmers market that has some of my favorite places to eat (rex's seafood and beyond the butcher) not to mention my go to coffee place (palmeri cafe).
I’ve been looking for a place closer to Dallas (I’m in Plano) and was pleasantly surprised with the small boutique feel of this apartment. It feels like being in the suburbs because it’s right next to a big park but it has great city views and you can walk to Farmers Market and downtown (I think less than a mile to downtown). Great two story layouts. Have never seen that. Everything is brand new and I liked the high end appliances.
