Property Ratings at Clair Del and Clair Del Gardens
Apartments are not luxury in any way, shape or form. Amenities have been closed for about a year and homeless people are inside premises at all.times. Drug dealing inside and outside complex with suspicious characters hanging around parking spaces. Management is horrible and has no customer service skills at all. Property is so bad that the city inspectors came down and cited building for many violations. If you are looking for a high quality complex, quiet and secure, this is not it... You will regret renting here!
These apartments are over 50 years old now and it shows. The layers and layers of paint in the apartments are in stark contrast to the "luxury" the property managers. They put in new floors, but have fixed the years of warping that cause the laminated boards to separate. They put in new stoves but failed to clear the vents for the hoods. The fridges are nice, but when the apartment lacks central air conditioning your fridge will run all night. With the high cost of these apartments with the 2.5 multiplier salary requirement it will be required to hold a job for $75k/yr. That takes 2 people living on realistic wages. There is only one parking spot, so every apartment needs to have another vehicle on the street. There is no parking on the street at anytime of the day except when people are at work. There are also homeless people who live on the property soliciting residents and washing cars to make money. These people often sleep in the car parks and bushes. There are nicer places to rent in Lakewood and Bixby, stay way from this place.
I moved into this complex because I had no other options. Take it from a resident, if you don’t have to live here, don’t. There are cockroaches, ants and spiders and management does nothing but offer to spray. The issue lies with the overflow of trash. They have put 4 dumpsters into a space that should hold one or two max using the other space dumpster space as extra parking spots which they charge residents for. It’s normal for kids to play outside, naturally there will be noise but most of the kids here are screaming at the top of their lungs outside until late in the evening. Leaving trash and broken toys all over the walkways and common areas. Their parents are supposed to watch them outside, they rarely do. Even with COVID restrictions, the pool can only be used during office hours, which vary. It’s not an amenity one should count on. The laundry facilities are never operating at full capacity. There’s always a machine broken. It took close to 5 months to repair one dryer last year. If you have other options. Take it. This place is not luxury, if you simply must tour the property look beyond the surface. It’s corporate run so of course they will not tell you any of these things. Heed the warning.

I want to say from the beginning of me applying to the property the leasing consultant Jessica was very informative & very quick with the whole application process and move in process the unit came with everything upgraded completely renovated and the grounds are well kept ! Not to mention a few weeks after moving in she reached out and asked how was I enjoying the unit ! Very spacious units Not to mention pet friendly as well and 24 hour laundry room which is very convenient because of my varied work hours !
Cockroaches, bad neighbors, run down apartments, and crime. Unsupervised kids terrorizing animals, and everyone. Do not pay for these non luxury apartments, they are not worth your hard earned money. Lived here for almost two years and broke the lease After a mold outbreak that ruined my wedding dress. I would have paid anything to get out of here!

If you are looking for a great family environment then this is the place to be. Every place has it's ups and downs and we hit a rough period here because of some bad people who decided to break in a few cars but the staff here is really great and they fixed the problem fast. Danny, Ashley, Theresa, and Wendy are simply amazing. I have enjoyed my stay here and will miss this place. Nearby the mall, wonderful school, stores. I am only leaving because I have a house now. The friends I have made her I will have for a lifetime!!!!
Old complex with large rooms. Grounds are kept up. Pool is good and gym.
Large apartments but very old. They do not update anything. Have the original stove from 1970. No extra parking for visitors. Most likely will move when lease is up. The positive is the grounds are kept up. Advertise as luxury apartments, but only for people from 3rd world countries.
Thankful to see all the great reviews on this apartment, as i am looking for a place to live when i move to long beach California in October. I do not have any pets to leave any droppings or messes lol. I love being around positive people and it seems like this is a good fit for that. I am flying out October 7th, and hope to get the chance to visit this place in person. Thank you for your time and all the reviews!
