Located between the Willamette River and I-5, Keizer sits along the 45th parallel halfway between the Equator and the North Pole. Just three miles north of Salem, Keizer is a mostly residential area with a slew of businesses, restaurants, cafes, and shops scattered along River Road North.
Decidedly suburban, Keizer exudes a small-town atmosphere equipped with a welcoming community. A bevy of annual events brings the community together in Keizer, including the Iris Festival, Festival of Lights Holiday Parade, and Summer Concerts in the Park as well as regular minor league Volcanoes baseball games. Keizer residents also enjoy gathering at Keizer Rapids Park and practicing their golf swings at McNary Golf Club.

Property Ratings at Clearview Apartments
It isn’t a bad place to live. Except that you only get 1 parking sticker. If you lose it or don’t return it they will charge you $100. The mangers are never in the office so it makes it hard to get things fixed. I only had 1 fire alarm in a 2 bedroom townhouse and told them that is against the law and still nothing has been done. Needs some upgrades and not worth the new price of rent. Had some creep for months always waiting outside my fence following me from the visitor spots or the open field made me feel unsafe to walk my dog or even leave my house at night without someone with me. The yard care people come everyday at 7-8am with leaf blowers and mowers but my grass was only cut every few months making the backyard way overgrown. Weeds and mushrooms everywhere! The gutters haven’t been cleaned causing damage to the outside (which good news you’re not responsible for) There are some very nice neighbors and some that aren’t so nice and on drugs. There’s always people going through the trash at night. There’s only W/D hookups in the townhouses and no laundry facilities on this property. Not trying to bash this place they just need better management or some changed to be done.
They do a great job with same day service maintenance requests. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The other reviews were negative, but I can’t see why. It’s not a bad place to live.
This place is ridiculous, you only get one parking sticker per unit. They visitors parking get full really early. You will get tow from you own assigned parking spot if you don’t have a sticker. They don’t care if you and you parter have a car. They don’t care if both of you are on the lease, only one person has the right to park there. They will send you a fine for things that you didn’t do and we no proof of it. Really weird people lives in this units. Scary to walk at night by your self when you parked on the other side of your unit because the visitor parking is so limited.
I lived here for 2 years. The entire place is filled with illegals who vandalize, steal and blare loud music. I personally had my car windshield broken and my phone was stolen, another time my front door welcome mat was taken. I also had a pipe leak which caused the sheetrock in the downstairs living room to collapse. It took two weeks for them to replace it. None of the units have A/C or a privacy fence around the back patios except for the landlord's. That's right, he uses the money to improve his own unit, leaving the others in complete disrepair. There is also no smoking or pets over 25 lbs allowed, but the landlord can be found smoking away in his private back porch with his large dog who barks late into the night. Avoid this place at all costs!
Especially since there is a shortage of affordable housing in Salem. I don't understand the negative reviews. I've lived here for 2 years and haven't seen the first cockroach, bedbug, robbery or break in. I suspect that the reviewer(s) are disgruntled former tenant(s) who got evicted. The place is not fancy, but it was spotlessly clean when I moved in and quiet. My neighbors are pleasant and so is the staff. A great place to live if you're trying to save money.
The complex is a total dive. Dirty, noisy, some mentally unstable neighbors, and many drug problems. The police were called far too often. In my short time there, my home was broken into, ransacked, and money stolen. I immediately moved out. In all my years renting, this is in the top 3 worst places. The on site managers never made any effort to clean it up. They didn't care.
Where to start? The manager is never in his office. there are bed bugs and cockroaches. he charges for every thing he can and will swindle every one out of their deposits. Just don't bother even bothering wasteing your money on this piece of trash.
