Property Ratings at Clermont Apartments
I left a post back in Nov regarding bed bugs and now I am happy to say the situation has been resolved. I waited a few months just to make sure but I haven’t seen any after management approved proper treatment to eliminate this issue. Thank you.
Back in July, I left a great review and I wish I still felt the same being that I was a new tenant but I don’t. All was well until month 3. I guess that new apartment phase wore off for me because all of sudden now I’m seeing bed bugs. I have tried to keep my patience but managements urgency isn’t matching mine and this situation is a nightmare. If you are like me and has never been in a bed bug infestation before please believe me when I tell you this is not an experience you want. They are in my bedroom walls, bathroom and bed. I can’t sleep. Find another location.
I recently moved to the Clermont Apartments near Catholic University and can say that its been such a good experience. It's like I've sorta hit a sweet spot. The buildings are clean the staff are actually nice, knowledgeable and know what they are doing. The buildings are secure with washers and dryers in each building. There's a mix of families (older and younger) that live in my building, which is nice because there are children my daughters age around. Most of the people who have lived there have been there for a while, I'm assuming that's the same for the other buildings as well so there isn't a high turn over rate like some places. So, the neighborhood, it's a bit hilly but it's a short walk to two metro stations, bus stops are a block away, and it's only 3 miles from downtown Silver Spring, 6 miles from Crystal City, about 4 miles from the capital. What more could you ask for? Nice commute, quite buildings and neighborhood, friendly neighbors, property team that actually takes care of the tenants and property. Oh and free off-street parking :)
