Property Ratings at Clintwood Apartments
This is an OK place to live but it's expensive for the bare minimum. All they have to offer is a pool. Neighbors are NOISY!!! I moved from one unit after being harassed by a neighbor who seemed to have more control over the facility than management. To move into another unit where the people above me ALL seem to stomp and run all day long. Slam doors and completely have no consideration for other tenants. Im looking to move. Maintenance isn't so bad about a day or two. I think this is a little over priced for no updated appliances or cabinets or anything. Purchasing is defintely a better option.
Filling out an application is a Hard Inquiry and it took my credit score down 21 points. I did not get approved for the apartment due to my partner credit which I advised them of beforehand. They told me it was alright they try work with us. FALSE This was a complete let down and a huge impact on my credit that my next apartment will see. Thanks for making things worst then what it is.
I lived here over 10 years, and found the management to be rude, inconsiderate and trying to do as little as possible. They skimp on maintenance but demand that the tenants comply with all of their rules. You can hear the door opening downstairs and your neighbor flushing the toilet. The pool bathroom is atrocious, it hasn't been painted a long time and they keep the pool open as little as possible. They offer short term lease but keep changing the rules. They also won't let you do a month-to-month and make you give them notice 45 days in advance. They will also keep all the remaining rent due if you want to leave before the lease expires. There are better places - skip this one.
My roommates and I recently moved into Clintwood Apartments and it's been great so far. The office staff are very pleasant and the maintenance reliable and quick. Lots of parking space, pool, and friendly neighbors. Location is the best part, near more than one bus routes, Tops is in walking distance, there's a gas station across the street and if you're in the mood for a slushy 7Elven is right at the corner.
Great apartments - Include almost everything you would use on a daily/weekly basis. Only appliance missing is a microwave (but you can buy one cheap at Walmart if you don't already have one!). Very close to Mt. Hope Ave. so there is always a place to go out and eat at.
I have lived at Clintwood apartment for 4 years when I first moved in they were very helpful with everything I needed the area is always very clean when something is broken or needs fixing maintenance is always responsive in a timely manner. there are fun picnics and pool parties I'm located in a perfect area close to pharmacies, doctors office, grocery store My husband is disabled so being so close to these places is great and living in a building where he doesn't have to worry about stairs is so helpful this is a wonderful place to live
I've been living here for almost 5 months and I am very happy. Very well kept surroundings very clean, the convenience of close by shopping, loving the pool, great neighbors. The office staff are friendly! I love my apartment and planning on being here for a long time. I feel very safe and that is very important to me. Location is perfect and would recommended it!
Clintwood Apartments are located in Brighton near the west side of the city. Close in proximity to the University of Rochester, University of Rochester Medical Center, and Monroe Community College. There is a regional grocer within blocks, local schools and libraries nearby, beautiful Brighton town parks, and the complex is on a bus line! The complex itself is easily accessible from major roads, and well maintained. Any issue requiring attention (ie: maintenance) is addressed immediately. In my two years living here I've had one maintenance "issue", which was unfortunately a case of user error, but maintenance came by very quickly to ensure that everything was OK. Ample free off-street parking, options for a carport or garage space at an additional monthly fee. There is a pool located at the center of the complex with a beautiful sun deck, and the complex hosts an annual pool party! My 1 bedroom is spacious and bright! Newly carpeted when I moved in, with the exception of the kitchen and bathroom of course. Dishwasher, electric range stove, built in microwave, and garbage disposal in the kitchen! There is a ton of closet space, and the water pressure is great! Air conditioning in the summer, which maintenance installs and removes annually. Designated storage space in the basement at no additional fee, and a laundry room in each building. There is an intercom system for visitors and the building is always locked. Located in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Heat, basic cable, water, garbage, and snow removal included. . Clintwood office staff is awesome, and much to my surprise the secretary knows me by name! So, in the words of the illustrious Mr. Rogers....."Please won't you be, my neighbor."
This apartment is well maintained and has several amnesties. It is very close to downtown and walking distance to the local library, great restaurants and parks. It has a pool with lounge chairs, and most living spaces have sitting areas and picnic tables for your use. It is located in one of the top School Districts in our area.
Convenience was the primary reason I moved in 16 years ago...and the reason I'm still here. The complex is within walking distance of pharmacies, a grocery store, numerous restaurants, a public library, medical providers and schools. One can do quite a lot without having to drive, although there is a gas station nearby as well. The complex is well run. Office staff are attentive to needs and helpful. Maintenance staff keep apartments and grounds in good order, especially in the sometimes snowy northeast winter. Rent is reasonable considering the area, and automatic debit payment is available. Rent includes heat, hot water and basic cable TV. Apartments include wall-unit A/C, electric stove/range and refrigerator. Each building has laundry facilities and storage spaces. The complex has a swimming pool and small pavilion. Non-smoking buildings are available. For me, it has been a great situation all around and I hope to be here for many more years.
I have lived here for about 7 months. The grounds and buildings are well maintained. The units themselves are very clean and the windows are not drafty. The office staff are very kind and maintenance responds very quickly and professionally. The only big problem I have had was with one of my electrical outlets sparking.
