An hour northwest of Minneapolis on Interstate 94, Saint Cloud is a charming small city on the banks of the Mississippi River. Saint Cloud State University is central to the community, both literally and figuratively: in addition to the 15,000 students enrolled, the university is one of the city’s biggest employers, and a dedicated fan base supports the school’s hockey program (the legendary Herb Brooks coached the Huskies back in the 1980s and his name now graces the Saint Cloud State hockey arena).
Just north of campus, Downtown is a charming riverside district with a strip of restaurants, bars, galleries, and performance venues along St. Germain Street. The city is home to over ninety public parks, ensuring that you’re never more than a few blocks from trails, lakes, and relaxing green spaces. For weekend excursions into the great outdoors, Saint Cloud is only a short drive away from Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge and Mille Lacs Lake.

Property Ratings at Cloudhaven Apartments
recently moved out of this complex and had nothing but terrible experience. One barley functioning washer/dryer per floor - has caught on fire due to poor maintenance. Trash and food all over property. Roach and mice infested. Management requires thousands of dollars up front. Will try to screw you over by pinning damages on you that were never fixed before you moved in. Children banging on your door and windows all the time. Nothing but unruly children screaming and trashing property. Very poor winter lot care. I mean barley any effort at all. Heat was out for 5+ days in middle of winter and management didn’t care. Cops called here all the time. Not a safe complex or neighborhood. Break ins. All advertising is a lie. Good luck to future renters
My favorite apartment I’ve ever had! It’s been 3 months of living here, and I absolutely love my new home! It’s peaceful, safe, and professionally managed. I have a lot of questions, especially in the beginning of living in a new space, and the staff have been gracious and efficient with every inquiry. The maintenance team is outstanding. The property itself is very nice and clean . My neighbors are courteous and respectful. This place has everything I need. I will enjoy living here for a very long time.
I moved to Cloudhaven in the fall to be close to school and my job and am very happy with my decision. The grounds are well kept, the building is always well maintained and the new manager in the office is very nice and professional. I would highly recommend this building.
I will highly recommend this place for all!! My husband and I searched for a long time apartment to rent and now that I've been here more than six months, I can say I'm happy about our choice! you get great value for the price that you pay. The buildings are kept very clean and whatever you need is very close to this area. The management is VERY nice and react quickly to any issue I've ever had.
Just want to say thanks to the new management at Cloudhaven. Starting to look so much nicer here, the staff tries very hard, we are really happy with the apartment here, it is nicer and cheaper than all the others we looked at.
Huge space; is like a house. Very clean. Onsite laundary. Peaceful neighborhood. I would absolutely recomend it to those with children. Perfect space for children to run around. It has double sink. Excellent maintanance.
