Property Ratings at Cloverleaf Apartments
over all my stay has been great. i started in a 1 bedroom, now im in a 2 bd, 2 bathroom. thanks to the manager and worker for maintaining the property, from the pool, trees, grass and flowers. im glad to call this place my home.
At Cloverleaf, we experienced outstanding service from a committed staff. The spacious floor plans offer plenty of space for both living and entertaining, along with ample storage options. Plus, the location is unbeatable, just seconds from I-25, yet surprisingly peaceful without the hustle and noise.
Location it’s great, freeways nearby, gas stations, fast food restaurants, groceries stores, management are pretty cool.. better than other places! For sure.. A home away from Home.
I have lived in many apartments though out Albuquerque, NYC and Portland and this is the only one that felt like a true home. It is the only one I lived the longest in. I lived there for 5 years and the only reason I left is I had to take care of a sick parent. The grounds are beautiful with so many trees, green grass and beautiful flowers! Don't forget the amazing pool! Several apartments even have their own backyard. No apartment is alike and I had one of the largest apartments! They all have their own unique attributes which make you feel like you live in a house vs an apartment. I had huge walk in closets, fire place, jet tub as well as my own washer/dryer laundry room. The size of the apartment was larger than my first house I bought! The staff was always helpful and available when needed no matter the day or time, including holidays. So when something broke and as you know things never like to break when it was convenient the owners were there to address and fix it immediately! I have owned several homes and I still miss this apartment and all it has to offer!!!
Where do I begin… If you want a honest review then it won’t get more honest than this. I have been waiting to post this review since the time I moved in and out of my apartment and I have officially moved out so it’s not a paid post or for any type of “reward” that some apt complexes give to write a review. It’s just a honest review from a young, first apartment, grad student that just needed to tell you folks the real deal about this place. When I first was looking for my new home to live in for the next four years I literally stumbled upon this place around midnight one night and on an outrageous page number on apartments.com because I couldn’t find the right apartment after searching for months. But when I say I thank God everyday that I found this place I MEAN IT. This was my very FIRST apartment and I stayed in it for FOUR YEARS! This is the best apartment complex in Albuquerque.

We appreciate your honest review of the community and glad to hear it was a positive experience for you especially being your first rental. It was truly a pleasurer having you as a resident Mahya. It is amazing how drastically different a resident's experience can be.
My husband and I are current residents at Cloverleaf. We have been living on the property for about 4 years now. I highly recommend looking into this apartment complex. The manager, Tonya, is very understanding to the needs of the residents. The front office manager, Veronica, is extremely helpful and caring. They make us feel so welcomed. There has been more lights and cameras installed on the property. I feel very safe in my home. I have not had any noise problem with any neighbors. We have never experienced any bug problems. The pool is cleaned daily. Maintenance in our apartment, when it is needed, is done in a timely manner. Overall i would recommend Cloverleaf Apartments to anyone.
It may look nice on the "outside" and you may think it's a great price for the spacious apartment, but it will be the worst mistake of your life. Veronica seems "nice" I guess that's why we rented here in the first place. She gossips about neighbors to you when you don't even want to know. Did I mention my apartment had TERMITES, DISGUSTING!!! I HATED living there, constantly sending memos of everything they are going to charge you EXTRA for. If your patio has dying plants charge, if you throw your trash across the gate charge, ANYTHING to make more money. Can you say GREEDY! All they care about is landscaping, but when it comes to residents safety they could careless. I had 2 cars stolen, catalytic converter stolen, 2 bikes stolen, and one night we forgot to lock our front door and someone went in my apartment while we were sleeping. ALL THIS WAS IN A MATTER OF A YEAR! There are so many homeless people that live near and so much crime, not to mention the noise off of Montgomery.
Ohhhh where to begin…….Staff are nosy, rude, and lack compassion for their residents. They send out flyers of do’s and do not’s almost weekly. Don’t feed stray cats or you’ll be fined, no more than 1 guest to accompany you at the pool, must park perfectly between the lines, guest of a resident can’t park in “Future Resident Parking” after hrs for any amount of time or they’ll be towed BUT they can and so can their guest, no dying plants on your back porch, must lock your patio door (they must be checking), no smoking anywhere on property or you’ll be fined $500, you must check your mail daily, red light indicator on smoke alarms, you’ll be fined, throw your trash over the dumpster gates, you’ll be fined, no vehicle leaks or you’ll be fined! Think I’m “exaggerating” I still have all their flyers as proof. Noisy neighbors? no need to complain, they don’t do anything anyways. Want to complain about staff and management? Pointless, it’s daddy’s business and the manager (daughter) can do no wrong. If all that isn’t bad enough, you have a lot of new neighbors that live rent free; homeless camps popping up everywhere. Can’t peacefully walk around w/out being confronted by someone asking for money. It’s very uncomfortable. Bottom line is Don’t do it, don’t waste your hard earned money on this complex. They’re cheap for a reason.
Cloverleaf apartments is honestly incredible. This was my first apartment and I could not have had a better experience anywhere else. I have always had the most pleasant interactions with the staff and both Veronica and Tonya are the sweetest people in management. Anyone who has had a bad experience with them must have ulterior motives. Both Tonya and Veronica go above and beyond to meet any needs, requests, or special situations that may arise. I can't express the amount of gratitude I have for them. The apartments are well sized, the grounds are continuously kept clean, and they are always making sure all of the tenants are kept safe and up to date on whatever is of concern. Not to mention it is in a fantastic location. You won't regret living here!

Thank you Mikyle it was a pleasure having you as a resident. We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed your apartment and experience here at Cloverleaf. It is a great location. We wish you the best in your new adventure!
The property and apartment were ok. Had very noisy upstairs neighbors. But, I had to unexpectedly move out for a job and gave notice as required, but they wouldn't allow me to pay a fee and break the lease. They required me to continue paying the rent and pay the utilities. To top it off they decided to heat an empty apartment so my bill was higher; I turned off the heater when I moved out. As NM law states, the landlord has a duty to try to fill you as a tenant within reason. Most judges would say after 60 days that the tenant has fulfilled their duty. They never rented my apartment, never provided me with a list of how they would apply my deposit (required by law) within 60 days of move out and they never returned my deposit despite leaving the apartment clean and ready to move in. I would NOT recommend moving in here since they just seemed concerned with taking advantages of their tenants when the opportunity arises.
