Located in Hamilton County, Mount Healthy is just 16 miles out from Cincinnati. The town was originally called Mount Pleasant, and was founded in 1817. Its inception, however, began two years prior when settlers John LaBoiteaux and Hamilton Pike built the first-ever building and business on the land: a tavern. As homes were being built - and companies like lighting manufacturers, garment factories, and wagon companies were popping up alongside the original tavern - the town’s population grew substantially.
Today, Mount Healthy has a lot of large green spaces and parks. Numerous restaurants and bars are located here, specifically alongside Hamilton Avenue which runs through the center of town from north to south. Residents enjoy easy access to I-275 and Ronald Reagan Cross County Highway.

Property Ratings at Clovernook Apartments
Terrible place to live. Not only are there guns going off constantly around the complex… but it’s just nasty here. My back yard is filled with trash that people just throw out of their house! I haven’t had AC in 2 WEEKS, and they said they were going to fix it a week and a half ago… plus they won’t return my calls about it. The maintenance is a joke. They have no clue what they’re doing, and the problems are literally never fixed. Half the time they just come and look at the complaint, then leave saying they don’t have the tools to fix it at the moment.. then never come back!!! Staff is unprofessional and just lazy. Do not move here for your sanity, and the safety of your family.
The area is completely filthy. They constantly are having maintenance issues, that go without fixing. They never have hot water. Maintenance staff is very unprofessional, and doesn’t know what they are doing half of the time. They have roaches and don’t have a pest control company constantly spray. The office staff claims they put “work orders” in but nothing gets done. The office manager never returns phone calls. The list of issues go on and on
I would of given no stars. Every bad review that I read about this place is true I’ve only been here since August and I’ve experienced most of what others are saying. Just a nasty place with rude and lazy staff. I hate it here! I was so excited to move here I hooked my place up brand new furniture and everything I have a beautiful home that’s been ruined by roaches and birds yes birds and water leaks and mold the list goes on and when I call to let them know the have every excuse and instead of giving a 24 hour notice to enter your unit they just pop up and enter your unit whenever that’s insane and the lady in the office told me they only change filters once a year I asked her do she change her filter more than once a year she said yes they don’t care about their tenants just disgusting I’m looking to move and when I do I’m reporting this place to the local government they need to be closed down!
I moved into this complex in sept 2015. this was not my first choice but the price was right and the location was ideal for my commute to work. I soon realized that this was the worst decision I could make. Upon my move in date I requested that I not be put in the back lot just based on all the negative things that I heard but my request were ignored and I was forced to move into the apartment bc they did not have any others available. I decided to just make the best of the situation. The rental office staff were very rude and unprofessional. They were basically just warm bodies to fill seats, any maintenance work that needed to be done was either ignored all together or completed months down the line. Drug deals happened on the regular either right outside the building entrance or in the hallway making it difficult to even get into my apartment. And my apartment was involved in a shooting. The apartment in front of mine was targeted and the person shot thru their house and due to poor structures the bullets came thru their walls and ended in my bedroom closet. Luckily neither my son nor I were home. I requested that I be moved out of that apartment and into a new building but bc I did a news interview and expressed my interest in moving they gave the apartment they were getting ready for me to someone else. The shooting happened in April and by the time I finally moved out in JUNE they still had not came to fix the bullet holes in my wall. And now I owe them for breaking my lease but would u have stayed there. Absolutely not. DONT MOVE HERE.
During my time living before taken over by towne properties the leasing agents were very unprofessional and rude and the timeliness to correct maintenance issues was terrible. During renovations I was told that I made enough stay and while my property was being finished I received a thirty notice due to not being qualified. Not only did I not have enough time to find a new place, once moved Manager Cheryl did not properly process my move out details. I was charged for late fee that weren't true and not even given the time to explain. Towne properties and Compton groves will lie, and this is a terrible place to live. They are very disorganized and unethical. Do not waste your time living here.
Will not fix anything. Major sanitation problems, as well as pest. The most unprofessional property management in the city. Only focused on renovations, thinking they will attract new residents?????? Dont waste your money !

Hi, I'm sorry that you are unhappy with some things here a Clovernook. We are doing some major renovations, but we are being careful not to overlook our current residents. We have no reports of sanitation issues, but if you're noticing something, please report it to the office and we will be sure to deal with it ASAP. We also take pest control very seriously. Every Friday we have a pest control team out to do routine inspections. All a resident needs to do is let us know there is an issue and the team will stop in and check out their home. If the resident reports a serious issue, we'll send someone out within 24 hours. They will then treat the apartment and keep treating it until the issue has been resolved. Please contact us either by stopping by the office or calling us at (513) 521-3303 so we can discuss your concerns and work to correct them. Thank you.
You don't want to live in this apartment they won't fix anything in the apartment in a timely manner and the school system is a 2 out of 10

I’m sorry that you weren’t happy with some things here at Clovernook. Since your time here Towne Properties has taken over management and has made a lot of improvements with many more still to come. I'm sorry you had issues getting repairs done, but we have a whole new staff who are great at addressing issues quickly. We’re also adding new flooring, custom carpet, custom wall colors, new appliances and cabinets to every home. The community itself is getting upgrades over the next several months that include freshly painted building exteriors that will sport new awnings. We’re also upgrading our clubhouse and adding a fitness center. We also have courtesy officers patrolling from 9pm to 3am every day who work with the Mt. Healthy Police department. New upgrades are being added all the time, so we hope you’ll come give us a second look if you’re ever in the neighborhood. Thanks!

My daughter and I decided to pay a visit to this property a day before our appointment to see how the property is maintained. We were sorely disappointed. Instead of garbage in the dumpsters, the garbage was strewn everywhere. Needless to say we did not keep that appointment.
