Rising out of the prairies and cornfields of the heartland, Omaha serves as a cultural wellspring and economic powerhouse for the region. Downtown has seen a lot of development in recent years, and now serves up a huge selection of trendy shopping, dining, and entertainment, particularly around the Old Market; the Blackstone neighborhood has also emerged as a new hotspot for adventurous restauranteurs and hip nightlife. The robust live music scene in Omaha is one of the city’s worst-kept secrets, with national publications singing the praises of popular venues like the Waiting Room and the annual Maha Music Festival at Stinson Park.
Omaha is serious about college sports – the University of Nebraska’s Cornhuskers are hometown heroes, and the city is the longtime home to the College World Series every summer.

Toured this place a few weeks ago and it looks great! Only downside is the price, it is a bit high for the area. Love that they have a dog park for my pup, not a lot of places have those. The pool is beautiful as well.

I just moved in and the staff has been nothing but accommodating to my every need. They fix any issue within days and are so courteous and kind, I am happy I chose them!
I renewed this year based on the price, management and service. I have no need for my second bedroom but you can’t beat the price. Manager is super friendly and maintenance is really helpful! Close to the interstate and a lot of businesses. Definitely recommend!
Building 26 is beautiful! Management and Maintenace is on point and I’m obsessed with how big my apartment is!
There were bugs everywhere especially cockroaches. Management was extremely rude and whenever I went into the main office they would roll their eyes at me. They would charge me for garages and pet fee , which I've never owned. When I moved out they never sent us our final statement after reaching out to them every other day. Finally when getting my statement it said they were turning me into collections for not paying. Yet they never once reached out to me. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Completely disgusting and rude.
Live in bldg 9 moved in about 2 years ago. Everything was okay until the Lund company took over the complex. Since then the bldg has been falling apart, BIG hole in the basement leading outside where the laundry room is, has been that way with no ventilation for a year. Now the water heater went out in the bldg and I’ve been without hot water for 3 days! Called multiple times to make sure it was going to get fixed on day 1 but they lied to me twice. Heating systems where made in the 70s and go out a lot. Do not give the Lund company your business they do very little management of these appts.
DO NOT LIVE HERE. (Unclean, Cockroaches, Maintenance Issues, Staff Refuses To Take Accountability) I moved into a unit that had cockroaches in it. The unit was not cleaned properly. They ended up having to switch out my refrigerator as the cockroaches infested it and gave me a filthy replacement. They told me I had to wait 60 days to move out then lowered it to 30 which was still double the time I had lived there. I would give this 0 stars if I could. Do not live here.
Our AC has been out for over a week, it took them over a year to fix the cockroach problem we had since DAY ONE of living in this unit. We have a standing AC maintenance brought us (which was nice) but that means we can't lock our back door because thats where they put it and we are ground level. Someone could just waltz in and steal or harm me and my family. We asked for a peice of wood or something to be cut so we can block the door from opening anymore and they said they would ask about it (we don't have one). I don't even want to know how much this thing will cost me on my next OPPD bill. Our back door has never locked and they provided a metal bar for us to use instead. Honestly, it's almost comical how much goes wrong here and they just nake excuses and take their sweet time fixing anything/everything with no sense of urgency even when you call several times to explain why this is unacceptable.
Worst apartment i've ever lived in. The hot water has been turned off 4 times that I know of in the last month because someone can apparently just turn it off in the laundry room. The management is useless, they will just tell you "oh, yup, well get that taken care of" they dont have a time frame for fixing anything. The maintenance people themselves once you get a hold of one are halfway decent. The price of the apartments is quite steep considering the above. Secondly, we have had our car broken into and catalytic converter cut off our vehicle and the walls and floors are super thin. You can hear neighbors blaring music and footsteps at all hours of the night. Nobody here really cares about anything, woudve given 0 stars if I had the opportunity.
I haven't lived here in awhile but I feel like it is important for people to know how absolutely nightmarish this apartment complex is. After only being there for 2 months my car was stolen. Just taken right out of the parking lot. Also the parking lot barely ever has enough parking for your building. Good luck finding a spot. Unless someone steals a car then I guess you can take that space. While living here we would have various problems we would call maintenance to come and fix. For example, we had water coming out of out bathroom air vent for about a week. For a week we reminded the office about the water. We were informed after about a week that it was water coming from our neighbors shower whenever they used it. So we were getting someones dirty shower water raining into our apt. After that they finally sent 2 people to come and fix it. They came in, cut a giant whole in our ceiling and left. They informed the upstairs neighbor that they could not use their shower until it was fixed..... which didn't happen for another week or two. I had plans to stay at the apt complex because I was only 19 and didn't think much of it at the time until at about 3 in the morning someone came in through the giant sliding window because it doesn't lock and doesn't have a screen, He walked into my room and only left because I was still awake. Finally after moving out of this nightmare I went there a couple more times to make sure every payment was made by all roommates. I was informed that everything was paid for and we were good to go. Months later I got a call saying all 4 of us were sent to collections because we didn't pay for all our fees. We were also told we couldn't get a security deposit back because we never gave them one..... which is impossible cause then we wouldn't be allowed to live in the apt. This apartment complex is awful. They go out of their way to be rude and condescending when they don't even know how to do their jobs. Do yourself a favor and find a better apt to tour. I should also add this stuff happened WITH the new management. We were treated worse when the LUND company took over.
This apartment complex is a joke. I have been calling for over two months to have the lights in the stairways fixed and they constantly have excuses. They “had a vendor come out” three weeks ago but two days after the lights still didn’t work. If you had a vendor come out it should be fixed. I don’t feel safe living here and I would not recommend this apartment complex as they do not take reporting issues seriously. They advertise for secure buildings and I have lived at the complex for a year and the building door still does not lock. I have called the Club and the Lund company and no one has fixed this issue.
I applied for an apartment here only because it is across the hall from my mother and they denied me bacause my criminal background check came back incorrect, and I did make a few mistakes in my past but who hasn't? And my credit score came back wrong. I'm a little upset because they allow drug dealers, kids that play music at 4am and people who party all day and all night to live here. They won't allow me when I just need a place close to mom and to raise my sons. Although I am glad I didn't get approved because my mom's apartment is falling apart and they have fixed none of it. This company has lot a lot of my respect because judging me on something that I did 10 years ago rather than the person I am today is not ok in my eyes.
Toilet above my apartment was leaking down above my toilet through the exhaust vent. Mold had formed before it was taken care of. Moved out because it wasn't fixed correctly. When I moved out I was told that I needed to pay for bulbs that I had used and utility bills. If you pay the utility bills in advance they should be payed up when you move out. Also they told me I needed to pay 645.00 for carpet replacement when I moved out. They claim my cats urinated on the carpet which they did not. Do not move in here!!!!! They never fixed the secured front door. It was never fixed. They never replaced the outside light bulbs for the parking lot or the hallways.
I've lived here for almost a year now, and I have been disappointed with this complex time after time. I am moving out as soon as my lease is up. The staff here isn't very helpful, and the maintenance takes weeks to get done, and is mediocre at best. I feel unsafe in this community, and do not even feel safe walking to my door at night because of the sketchy people and surrounding people. The hallways always reek of pet urine and marijuana, as well as seeing countless drunk people yelling in the parking lot. My roommate also got his locked car broken into, and the staff didn't really care to listen. The price for the space is cheap, but the rest isn't worth it.
I currently live in these apartments with my wife, and truthfully the size of the apartments are nice for what you pay but that's where the pro's of these apartments stop. The leasing office will literally lie to your face, the maintenance team does a mediocre job at best, and if anything goes wrong for you in the apartment, even if it's the apartments fault or the tenants fault above you don't expect any compensation. The leasing office lied to every tenant that lived here saying there pool would open this year on time, which it didn't, and then even while the pool was being completely rebuilt they would say "it should be ready in one to two weeks". Well suffice to say it's now almost October and the pool never opened this year. Trust me on this your better finding a different place, it may seem nice at first look but you will be sad you moved here before your year is up.
I am on my second lease and that was a mistake! I have to laugh that there pictures they show of their apartments are absolutely NOTHING like you will live in. The hallways always smell rancid. They advertise the amazing pool but fail to tell you that they don't open it until July or August, (both years I've been here). Management seems pretty friendly, until you have an actual problem... I suggest looking somewhere else.
Apartment was average. Maintenance was very slow. Security of the the building was very poor. I had a few neighbors that were very pleasant. But it declined over the years. Manager communicated poorly. To rated them it would be 2.
The apartments that I live in are wonderful. There is a pool and gym. The office staff knows you by name and are always willing to help you. Also, the maintenance guys are great! I would recommend anyone to live here!
Affordable and clean. The neighborhood is beautiful, with walking trails near by, and lots of neat wild life. Lovely amenities, and very pet friendly! I've lived here for two years, and I am just as happy as the day I moved in.
They really should get no more than a one. The grounds are always a mess. Trash is picked up only twice a week so the dumpsters are always full. Maintainence didn't get the pool opened until after the 4th of July. I know it was rainy this year but seariously? It's supposed a secure building, I have used my key to get in no more that 3 times since the beginning of May. Calling the office staff uncommunicative would be nice. I'd call maintainence thorough but I'd be afraid of God striking me dead. Now if none of this bothers us the apartments are huge!!!!
I have been living at the Club at Highland Park Apartments for a little more than two years. Some of the features that really attracted me to this complex versus others were the HUGE space (my 1-bedroom apartment is 850 sq. ft.), the ability to have my 80 lbs Old English Bulldogge, the awesome interstate access, and the quietness once inside the actual unit. Granted, I can sometimes hear people coming up the stairs, but I don't ever hear people talking or music/TV from the units. However, during my time here, I have noticed a steady decline in the quality of people moving into the complex. When I first moved in, I felt secure walking my dog around at night. Lately, though, some shadier characters have moved in and I don't feel as comfortable. One set of recently moved-in neighbors also smoke (and not your average cigarette smoke), which I can smell in my own unit. I don't mind if others smoke; I just don't want to smell it in my own home. Despite my complaining and the office sending a letter to the building, nothing has changed. I love my apartment and I love the location, the office/maintenance team, and the amenities. But the with the increase of sketchy neighbors, I will be moving at the end of this current lease, sadly. Feeling safe as an important factor for me as a single woman, so I have to move. I really do love the complex and would recommend it with a slight word of caution.
