Property Ratings at Club at Tanasbourne
Always on top of things! The service here is always spectacular. The team goes above and beyond!
The complex and apartment look nice (based on prerecorded video) but the property management team have very deceptive business practices. I applied and was approved for a 2bd1ba unit that was priced at an extraordinary steal and honestly too good to be true. Prior to applying for the unit, I texted, emailed, and spoke with the leasing agent to check that it was not a computer glitch, which she assured me it wasn’t. I paid the $50 application fee by credit card, then did ACH for the $300 holding deposit, and set up PGE right away after receiving the approval email. The next day I get notification that my move-in date was changed to a month out, well after I’d have started my new job, which leasing knew. I was then gaslight by the agent and told that on my application I requested the new move-in date, despite the fact I have a copy of the electronically signed application with the initial move-in date. I know this was on purpose because after I paid the holding deposit, the agent never sent me over a lease. She only mentioned that my move-in date had been changed. They did not want to rent at the price as listed on my application, so they pushed out move-in date. Now I have to start my entire apartment search over at another apartment complex because I would not trust working with this management team. Since I paid my holding deposit by ACH, I will need to wait up to 14 days for them to mail me a check for my reimbursement. If they had at least informed me of the glitch prior to having me pay the $300 deposit, it would not have been as much of a headache. I’m very disappointed and would not suggest anyone relocating for work to apply here.

Some of these comments were made by the same person, a manager padded reviews with 5-stars to sound appealing. No one cares about the grounds or would write that. There is always something wrong or broken. No one gets a perfect 5 star rating or uses an exclamation point, unless they got free stuff or a discount!
Pros: The location was great because you're really close to Streets of Tanasbourne mall as well as grocery stores and restaurants. Staff was also nice and friendly. Maintenance usually responded in a timely manner. Cons: parking was a struggle, you're guaranteed to pay for additional covered parking. The apartment walls were also thin even though I was on the upper unit, so I constantly heard traffic and my neighbors talking on the phone outside or in their units everyday, and since the apartment is close to Kaiser and Providence there were plenty of sirens.
The apartment complex is in a great location and although they look decently updated you can tell this complex is outdated. We've been here about a month now and the staff and maintenance team are awesome. No complaints there! We moved into a bottom unit for the ease of moving and the convenience of taking the dogs out but being in here for almost a month, I wish we rented an upstairs apartment. We can hear our neighbors CONSTANTLY through the old creaky floors. With every step you can hear them, not to mention they are up really late and they sound like they are lost upstairs. It sounds like they are walking back in forth like a chicken with it's head cut off. Right now, I think they are exercising (walking in circles) and it is 10:00 PM. They will continue to do this for another 2 hours :( This is apartment living and I'm not going to knock on their door and tell them to stop walking around....lol but it is just annoying being able to hear EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING. We have been in three different apartment complexes over the years and this has to be the worse apartment regarding the noise. Our ceiling is literally their floor. Nothing in between to partition or lessen the sound. On another note, the community and the club house are nice but I'm not looking forward to the winter because the apartment is pretty cold and I am constantly under a blanket and we are already at the end of winter.
I really love living at the Club - it's so convenient for everything! In addition, the grounds are beautiful and beautifully maintained. The staff, specifically Kari and Debbie, are helpful when you need information or assistance, and the maintenance people are efficient and timely. They will work with you to make sure you are satisfied and happy. Could you ask for more?

A beautifully landscaped series of rolling hills sets the foundation for The Club Apartments, which offers a well-maintained swimming pool, hot tub, and gazebo decorated with climbing ivy containing a solitary picnic table for a private lunch or meeting. An exercise room, recreational area with pool table, office center, and living room meeting area add to the enjoyment and functionality of apartment living. This complex is kid and pet friendly too, with clean grounds for all to enjoy. Events are held for the tenants several times a year to get to know each other and the staff in a fun, laid-back way. The staff is fun, friendly, and gets things done in a timely manner. Located near a major shopping area and the freeway, it is easy access to the bus line, restaurants, a movie theater, clinics, and a variety of stores. Plenty of trees and green grass make for a relaxing and picturesque home setting, with a wide variety of things to do both inside and outside the complex.
All the apartments here have been remodeled, inside and out, with new appliances. The staff is friendly and helpful. The grounds are kept up on a weekly basis so it always looks nice. I see a variety of dog breeds so there's a good chance if you have a dog, they'll accept it. All in all, after being a resident for four years, I don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon.
The Club Apartments located behind the Safeway is conveniently located to a Regal Cinemas Theatre and relative walking distance to Tanasbourne Mall, Target, Best Buy, and a few eateries such as Mod Pizza, Red Robins, Standfords, and fast food restuarants such as Subways, McDonalds, and others. Initial monthly rentals will vary like most other apartment complexes but can increase after a yearly lease by $100 increments or more. The apartment complex has a central leasing office where packages can be picked up along with a small work out room that has dumbells, cardio equipment, and cubed workout machines. A pool along with a hot tub is also located at the rear of the main office. The apartment complex began to remodel its units the year I moved in, 2013 with some updates but it forced a lot of residents at that time to move to another unit with a dramatic increase in lease to compensate the difference. Parking has a mixture of paid, covered lots and open first come first served lots that fill quickly for free. The apartment complex has a few areas to dump trash in large trash bins that are weekly emptied and has a central place to drop off recycled materials. The apartment complex offers storage sheds at an extra cost per month. Garbage and sewer is a fixed monthly cost. Water bill is based on occupancy and shared pool with others residents. Electricity is based on typical pay as you use. Rent can be paid either by check submitted via to the office or by mail and has the option to do an online continuous payment from a checking account. Not a bad location for convenience factor and rental cost is average but can rise after a yearly lease is up.
These apartments were recently remodeled and the interiors are wonderful; no blank white walls. The location in the middle of Tanasbourne provides easy access to shopping, entertainments, and public transportation. Staff are friendly and helpful, the amenities are nice and well-maintained. The only issue is somewhat noisy upstairs neighbors, the noise suppression could be better.
