Large lots and lush landscaping with many area parks draw locals to Cypress Run, a few miles southwest of downtown Coral Springs. Many of the houses for rent hail from the 1980s, when the neighborhood developed. Waterway canals weave through the neighborhood, running behind many of the single-family homes in the area.
Cypress Park serves residents with multiple sports fields and courts, a two-story clubhouse, playground, and paved exercise pathway. Just across the street, the Cypress Hammock Park and Cypress Orchid Park offer more green space, tennis courts, and a swimming pool with slides. Meet up with locals for a picnic in the park, or head to Pal' Rancho for lunch. When you just need a pizza to satisfy your hunger, pick one up at Joe's Pizza and Pasta.

Property Ratings at Club Mira Lago
The apartments have a great look to them and the process of moving in here was simple. I dont live close and Aisha was my point of contact and she helped me greatly. She was able to help me find an apartment within the criteria I needed when finding a place is very difficult. She communicated things very well and made it easy for me and my family on move in day.
I live on the 3rd floor they enter my apartment anytime something is going on with the roof. Also they don’t fix anything. The Toilet leak and the walls are paper thin. As I said I live on the top floor and it sound like someone live over me. ( The layout of the apartment is nice) but big mistake . Just helping someone
If I could give no stars I would. My fiancé and I set up an appointment for yesterday at 12pm. We live all the way by Zoo Miami, and we both took the day off from work to see these apartments. It was more than an hours drive and the weather was terrible. Well when we got to the leasing office we were told to wait and someone would be with us shortly. About 5 minutes passed and a lady asked how she could help us. We told her we had an appointment and she said “We don’t do tours when it’s raining. Someone should have called you.” I then informed her that no one tried to reach out to us at all. And she shrugged and said sorry. She didn’t take the time to sit with us and go over any information or offer any assistance whatsoever. We went to another tour after this and our experience there was 100% better than this, they showed us pictures, went over amenities, pricing, etc. This is how it should have been handled. We felt like an inconvenience and very unwelcome. If this is how they treat potential renters I would hate to see how residents are treated. Save your time and go somewhere else.
Property Manager at Club Mira Lago, Responded To This Review
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We regret to hear that your experience with us was not a positive one. It is our goal to offer the best customer service to our guests. We have taken this as a learning experience so it does not happen again in the future. We wish you the best of luck in your new home. Thank you again.
They tell you that your credit score doesn’t matter, & that the only thing they really look for is felonies and evictions. None of which I have. They took my credit card payment for administration fees & said it would be returned if I was denied. They made it seem like I was already approved, they even said “welcome home”. They even sent me a link to a resident portal making me think that all was good. After they ran my credit which I was completely honest about. I was denied & now have to wait up to 30 days for me money to be returned.
Club Mira Lago does not respond to “big ticket” maintenance requests. They hope you will give up and they will avoid paying out money. Interestingly, they WILL appear and discuss when served with a court summons. This was rather surprising [and satisfying]. We were able to arrive at a mutually agreeable settlement. LESSON: Don’t give up. Stand your ground. Everybody [usually] shows up for court.
Do yourself a favor and do not move here... I am only writing this out of concern for current/future tenants. This place is an extreme health hazard. IF you suspect there is mold in your apt. Do yourself another favor and hire a company to inspect it. We reported the problem months ago and all they did was give us a green cleaner to clean ourselves... After our personal inspection happened there was a report of over 800,000 mold spores in just one room! The main office is a joke. I will honestly warn you IF they tell you they did an inspection (and they will send people to view your apt) it is in your right to ask them for the results report. I, however, did not know this was my right and continued living there in good faith. After experiencing many health issues I asked David to provide me with the report and he told me corporate had it...after much back and forth he confessed there was actually no report because no mold inspection had actually happened. I wish this was the first issue I could report because this one is a really bad one... You should also not move here if you do not have somewhere to go during the hurricane season. We were emailed that we could have our own company install shutters indoors TWO days before hurricane Maria hit south Florida. This is a rental community, even if you had the luck of getting hurricane company to install shutters two days before a storm you would have to incur the cost of damaging the walls themselves... -- I could write on for days... But also beware of any documents this company will have you sign. They could care less about their tenants and will ask you to sign anything to cover themselves. David in the office is by far the most unhelpful and unempathetic person. This guy claims to not speak spanish just to not help a person out... But we've heard him have full conversations.
I lived at Club Mira Lago for 6 years. I recently vacated my apartment before my lease was up. I met up with the manager Dave and discussed this with him. I was told that I would be held accountable for One month’s rent if I broke my lease early. I agreed to that and thought it was fair. In time I gave a One Month notice (as required, on Feb 8th 2017) and a month later (on Mar 7th 2017) I went to hand over my keys, check book in hand to pay the extra rent, there was a new guy at the front counter. I asked him how much I owed them, he said he didn't know and that I would have to talk to the book-keeper Michelle. She was not there at the time, neither was Dave. So I left thinking no problem I will confirm with them pay them later. Called Michelle a few days later stating the above and she tells me - I am now in breach of my contract because I did not pay at the time of handing over the keys. I explained my situation - that the guy at the counter did not know how much I was supposed to pay and that he told me to call you (Michelle) later. She said they had now handed my file over to Virgil who is in the collections department of the company. I go over there and meet up with Dave, Dave says I need to talk to Virgil which I did. Now Virgil says I am in breach and the only way out is for me to pay him $1200 - whereas as per my calculations I only owed them about $250 more, since I had paid a full months rent on March 5th and vacated on March 7th. Virgil wants to play hardball and suggests this is my only way out - otherwise I will keep owing them until they rent my apartment out. I had been a good tenant always paid my dues in time and I thought these guys would play fair with me, but they caught me unawares showing me a clause in my contract that says I have to pay on the day I hand over my keys. How do I pay if I don't know what amount to pay and their employee does not know what amount I owe??? This company is trying to sham me out of an additional $1000 and I dont think thats fair.
Do not believe what they tell you when you go to rent an apartment! They show you a model with vinil floors , clear, clean and tell you yours will be even better because they are being renovated and you will get new appliances. Then you want to see the " gorgeous" apartament you will get! They can not show you before you sign the contract because the apartment is being renovated! Well when come the day for you to move they bring you to your " dream apartment" a piece of garbage with very old and dark carpet, cheap and old apliances, cabinet " upgraded" you would not use in your garagem so ugly and cheap they look! Why they want to tell so much lies and make you feel like a fool when you are ready to move I do not know! Go look for a more ethical place to live !
the appliance are cheap rent is high been here for 8 yrs because there is not other way the only thing nice about club mira lago is the lake, the gym is super old, it is always problem with kids going there and not able to lift the weight ... the playground is dirty the only place that is neat in the area around the show room so they can snatch new resident... i wish i could move but i dont mind staying until my get a bit better too much as a down payment for a new lease ...
