Property Ratings at Club of the Isle
Their new management company, GVA are some of the worst people I've ever worked with. Months to fix things like the elevator, security gate, and awful at communication. Very unprofessional and amateur when you try to work with them. I never leave negative reviews like this but I strongly recommend to not live here if you're on the island, unless you like paying money to dishonest and disrespectful people. Working with these types of people is never worth it (and the rent is expensive anyways with the additional $200 they charge you each month in hidden fees).

My family has lived here a while and it has been great. Stuff does break sometimes but its a 20 year old property, and everything is fixed as soon as possible, and they do a pretty good job keeping us up to date on whats going on. The office staff really cares and helps out when they can, and maintenance walks every day to pick up grounds and keep this place nice. Real friendly staff and quiet neighbors for the most part. I would recommend to anybody. I've never had any issues that werent resolved within the week.
Always thought this was a resort! Finally stopped and leased 6 months ago! This community is the best on the Island, washer and dryer in the apartment, wheelchair access, gated,(gates close every night). The grounds are clean, very community friendly, office staff has put together activities for residents, yoga classes, evening work out program! I love it here! I was also told we are getting new pool furniture in September, can't wait!!!
I enjoy the valet trash service, the gated community, the pool is so beautiful with the heated jacuzzi, no need to go anywhere else for fun!!! Units have vinyl flooring and washer /dryer in every unit.
If your safety and peace of mind are of utmost importance to you, I strongly urge you to stay far away from this place. The management operates in a questionable manner, resulting in highly unsafe conditions and a complete disregard for essential maintenance. Despite a significant rent increase under new ownership about a year ago, the property has become a breeding ground for negligence and insecurity. One of the most distressing concerns is the persistently malfunctioning fire suppression system. In Building One, the error alarms have been sounding and errors persisting for over a year, yet management has chosen to turn a blind eye to this critical issue. The non-functioning fire doors pose an imminent danger to the safety of all residents. It's a disaster waiting to happen, and the potential consequences are simply unimaginable. The main gates, meant to provide security by being closed at night, are shamefully stuck open, allowing unrestricted access to anyone. No code is required, and anyone can freely enter the supposedly "gated" complex without invitation or scrutiny. The management's lack of action and explanation in this regard is deeply concerning, leaving residents vulnerable and their belongings at risk. Moreover, the property has become a haven for unregistered stolen or abandoned vehicles. One of these vehicles occupies a handicapped space, further exemplifying the management's negligence and lack of responsibility. These vehicles have been left untouched for an extended period, with flat tires and black mold growing within them. It is a clear indication of the deteriorating security and overall disregard for the well-being of residents. The broken outdoor and pool area furniture adds another layer of danger. Chairs and lounges are in a state of disrepair, posing a serious risk of collapsing or causing injury. Despite the evident age and wear of the furniture, management shamelessly blames tenants for the damage. This further demonstrates their lack of accountability and disregard for resident safety. It is abundantly clear that the management's negligence extends to the overall maintenance of the property. Leaking and rusty pipes, deteriorating staircases and railings, poorly maintained elevators with worn interiors, and numerous non-operational ceiling fans in the hallways are commonplace. Power outages and frequent internet interruptions only add to the list of concerns, leaving residents in precarious and uncomfortable situations.
Beautiful well-kept property with fantastic maintenance crew! 24 hr fitness room, elevators and hot tub are top knotch!!! Thankyou! Watched this property for 2 yrs until we finally moved here!
Don’t be fooled by the outward appearance, this apartment complex has several issues. Management is lacking at best. Vehicles sit abandoned in handicapped parking spots. There are many dogs too large for an apartment. Hallways are always dirty.
This complex looks nice, but don’t be fooled. They are also building a new RV park next door so be prepared to next to a party everyday
Excellent office staff and maintenance. Great location, quiet complex. I feel safe living here alone with my son. Never had any issue, they will make everything as easy as possible for you during and after move in. I have lived in many apartments in Galveston and COTI is by far the best. 10/10 recommend!
I moved to Club of the Aisle in the midst of a divorce and needed a true gated complex. I expressed this to the leasing agent and was never once informed that the gated are left wide open Monday - Friday from 8AM to 5PM. In addition, the elevator in building one breaks regularly. Again, not mentioned prior to move in even though it was a known ongoing issue. I feel strongly that I was not communicated with honestly. Very poor business ethics.
Don't be fooled by the nice large apartment. Or the seemingly pleasant staff. Leaving after a year because the property management company is terrible. When you pay top dollar for rent you expect everything to work or be repaired in a timely manner, public areas to be clean and safe, respect of privacy, professional staff, but you won't get any of those things from the COTI* team.
Love this place. It's quiet, not a party complex, the balconies are huge on the 2nd floor and staff is very responsive and friendly.
