Located about 27 miles northwest of Detroit, Pontiac is an up-and-coming city brimming with historic charm and a strong sense of community spirit. Named after a chief of the Ottawa tribe, Pontiac was once a center for automobile manufacturing. In fact, Pontiac built an array of cars, trucks, and the renowned bus Civil Rights activist Rosa Parks famously made history on.
After being hit hard by the Great Recession, Pontiac is on the rise. Numerous restaurants, companies, and amenities are setting up shop in Pontiac, including the M1 Concourse—an 87-acre playground for auto enthusiasts. Historic Downtown Pontiac has been revitalized, offering a slew of cafes, shops, and entertainment options for the community, like the historic Flagstar Strand Theatre for the Performing Arts and the Crofoot performance venue.
A bevy of scenic parks provide plenty of space for outdoor recreation in Pontiac, such as Murphy Park, Galloway Lake Park, and Hawthorne Park.

Property Ratings at Club One of Auburn Hills
The units are extremely poorly maintained. The floors are uneven and broken down. The walls are cracked causing constant insect problems. The pipes constantly get clogged and often sewage flows back into apartment. Appliances don't work. Half of the burners on my stove were broken when I moved in. I requested that they be fixed, but they never were. The freezer defrosted and flooded my kitchen at least once a month. Despite this, maintenance made no attempt to fix it. It was only replaced once it stopped functioning altogether, and at that point, I was given another used fridge that was already cracked and barely working. Despite constant calls, the office let smoke detectors beep for weeks before replacing batteries, if they were replaced at all. Management puts no effort into maintaining anything on the property and will do anything to keep the security deposit. I wouldn't recommend living here unless there was absolutely no other option.
My first experience was with Rose the office manager who gave us a tour of the property, which then after was very thorough with helping with the application process. She got us in within under a two-week time period since living here it has been very quiet and peaceful, the tenants in my building are very nice as well as the office staff and management down to the maintenance being taken care of in a very timely manner. Great amenities including a 24-hour gym a beautiful pool and a great playground for the kiddos. Best move that myself and family have made.
I have lived here for over a year now with my husband and we have had such an amazing experience living here and plan to stay longer! When we first thought about moving here Rose answered any questions we may have, was extremely kind and sweet and gave us a tour! All the staff is incredible and willing to answer any question you may have!
This was my first time leasing for an apartment and the staff have been really helpful from start to finish. They really care about your wishes and are welcoming! Everything went smoothly and they explained everything so well.
Casey the leasing specialist was very nice and courteous. Answered all my questions and queries. She was also very responsive to both my messages and emails. The property management staff here is really good! Leasing and move-in process is seamless too. Apartments are also better than all the other apartments in the area. Best place literally!! Regards, Abhyuday
Staff was very nice and helpful to any questions my girl friend and I had about the apartment! Made the process of buying very easy and smooth!
So far the staff is responsive and always available. My unit is quiet and cozy
Me and my wife have been looking forever and club one made it super simple for us to find a place to live and start our family. Thank you club one!
We are are relocating to MI, so we had stuff shipped prior to my move in date. Casey from the office was very nice and told me that things can be ship to the office and they will hold it until I am able to move into the apartment. Casey, is very friendly and is quick to respond or assist in any matter that is needed. They are making the move a lot easier than we expected. Looking forward to settling in and enjoying the apartment. Also the apartments are beautiful and nice sizes.
The administration here are really nice and easy to talk to they provided all of the information we needed quickly and with detail and processed our application within 24 hours they also provide useful amenities such as the pool and gym equipment/workout room.
I have a lot to say about this place. I've lived here a total of 2 years and it had gotten progressively worse as time went on. The apartments themselves aren't bad, but the management is. I had medication shipped to my apartment and it went to the leasing office because it needed someone to sign for it. It was right before a holiday weekend and they had closed early even tho there was no notice. So when I called around to get my medication, no one could help me. For a 4 day weekend!!! And it's not medication that you can just go to the ER to get. It's highly regulated and isn't possible to receive after I've been dispatched a set of treatments. That manager, since I've moved out has left the company without such as a word to them and he was the one me and my husband handed our leave-out notice to. They have not issued my deposit because they can't find the document and can't ask the manager because he left. I've even sent emails regarding my move out and they still say they had no clue. When you walk in to get a package, they act as if you are providing them with the most inconvenient aspect of their day. Unfriendly, chaotic, unprofessional services throughout. I've seen many fights in the parking lots where cops have to be called to detain someone. This is not a place you should rent from if you want a headache-free lease term. They also now have a person that sits at the pool to make sure you follow the rules (no floaties that you can chill on in the pool, etc) and they just stare at you and it's kinda creepy especially if you're a girl.
The staff has been very friendly and easy going, which makes the move in experience easy and quick. The date they provided me at the beginning was accurate and the common spaces have a very good maintenance.
I just moved into my appartment and I love it so far, I'm super close to the gym and the swimming pool, and I love how quiet and related it is here
Nice quiet clean apartments. The leasing office made us a priority and moved us in very quickly
I love their communication, and the community I would totally recommend everyone to move here.
I was pleased with how nice the staff was. They were very helpful and made me feel like I made the best decision with choosing to stay at Club One. I know I’m going to love it here.
We have been here since December and we absolutely love it here the team is helpful and always so kind I would definitely recommend moving here.
Rose is one of the best leasing agents I have ever seen. I love to friendly staff. I would recommend anyone move here. Great place to live
I applied and got approved the same day. I love the apartments and Savannah was a big help. She is very nice and professional. She answered all my questions and email me back quick.
Miss Rose was very polite and helpful. She made the whole process a breeze. Explained everything in detail. Even shared a few personal laughs. Would definitely recommend. The whole move in process was quick. Amazing move in special.
Applied and got approved quickly and received my love in date in the same fashion. Savannah was really helpful during the whole process. She answered any question I had regarding my application and the rental property itself. Would definitely recommend to anyone that is looking for a great first start in the leasing world! Also, you can’t beat having all utilities included or a rent special haha!!
The application process was easy to follow and complete, and the staff working in the Leasing Office are incredibly helpful if you have any questions. The apartment is clean and comfortable, and the fact that water and heat are paid for takes a lot of weight off my shoulders in making rent each month. And as a college student living off campus, I really enjoy the convenience of being so near to Oakland University. I’d definitely recommend living here if you’re looking for an apartment for the first time.
The staff was polite and patient even with all the questions i had...being in a apartment on my own for the first time in my life. I definitely recommend checking them out...
The application was easy and Rose was amazing at showing us the new unit and covering all the things that’s comes with the unit. She made us feel so comfortable and at home!! Very nice place to call home!!
Apartment was very clean and ready when it was time to move in! A spacious place that is close to campus and is actually affordable! Staff is also very helpful with any questions or concerns! 10/10 recommend for any OU college students looking for a place to live!!
I think this is a great first apartment. I moved here not really knowing anyone and the staffing helped me feel very secure in the choice that I’ve made. They are super helpful and answer any type of question you have. There’s no stress when it comes to dealing with anything even before moving in
The staff are super nice and patient with all the questions i had being in a apartment on my own for the first time. The application was super easy and was able to get my new home in a matter of a week. I definitely recommend checking them out!
Staff was super helpful and willing to answer questions no matter how dumb they sounded to me. Allowed us to take our time and consider before reaching a permanent decision! I can’t wait to move in
I am living here again for a second year after renting apartments around the rochester area and it's the best place I have lived. They have great amenities and it's a good price, especially for college students! Still conveniently located by a bunch of stores and the staff is friendly.
Just moved in I didn’t get the apartment I wanted but the apartment they given me have a new carpet, tub and toilet. Which was great..
This is my first apartment and both girls were very helpful to answering all of my questions! They are very easy to work with! I cant wait to move in the next couple of days!
Mahrissa was very helpful and answered all of my questions. I’m Very Excited To Move In & Can’t Wait !!
It’s been 2 weeks we are here and everything is great so far. We had a little problem with water drain but got it fixed within 1 working day! The area is so quiet that you can hear the people infront of the apt if they are loud ?? It does smell a lot like weed sometimes though so not sure if its a bad luck or bad building ????? And lastly, Mahrisaa was so great helping me throughout the leasing process and I hope it continues ??
It's been 10 days we are here and so far so good :) Had a small issue with in the rest room on Saturday and got it fixed by Monday morning! Mahrissa was great during the entire leasing process and was very helpful.
The leasing process was quick and wonderful. Mahrissa was very helpful and answered all of my questions.
The staff was extremely helpful and didn't have any problems with move in. No issues with the apartment itself either.
I just moved in to their one bedroom apartment this week and I am in love. The leasing staff is so kind and helped me with all my little questions on my first apartment. You should definitely check them out, super easy access to highway and tons of restaurants and shopping nearby. Loved the simple process!!
The leasing office staff were polite and acted with professionalism. The apartment was big enough to accommodate my belongings. And any issue I had after moving in were resolved in a timely manner.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The apartments are beautiful and spacious.
Love the property & the model the was shown to me can't wait to see mines friday!!!!
I was amazed when entering the lobby. The apartment here are beautiful and the grounds are well groomed. Although I've only met one staff member so, she was amazing and I look forward to meeting the rest of the staff.
WORST PLACE TO LIVE ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN AND MOSTLY A CHILD WITH A DISABILITY. Staff/ Management is careless!! I have a flood issues, gas leak issues the fire department demanded them to replace my stove they did not putting me and my children at risk! Very unsanitary place . The hall ways are disgusting. Everything is outdated. Everything falls apart . Carpet is the cheapest and they will try to charge you for it coming up where their carpet company placed it down but if they did it properly it wouldn’t come up in the first place! Maintenance sucks! They do a crappy job at everything it’s pathetic! I am not a professional but I know how to properly paint and do dry wall. The showers has mold growing at the top and they will not do anything about it which is another risk for my children. My son has epilepsy and since we move here his seizure has increased. They will not under no circumstance let me out of the lease without a fee of 500 plus my whole security deposit plus I would have to pay the rent until someone else move in which is unreasonable and unfair. They DO NOT CARE ABOUT A CHILD WITH EPILEPSY SO THEY WILL NOT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING IS ELSE!!!! MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO BE FIRED ! They need to be reported and Fined!!
Club One of Auburn Hills offers comfortable one bedroom apartments with great amenities such as a gas stove, fitness center, club house and pool. The staff are very friendly and I recommend it.
Very pleasant staff, up to date facilities. Great looking place for a single person to call home. Felt very welcome.
The women that helped me was very helpful and kind she explained everything to me and answered all my questions. Also gave us a tour through the model apartment to show us what it would look like.
This is an excellent place to live in . The staffs are very nice and always ready to help! It is very clean and spacious too . I would totally recommend living here!!!
Appreciate all your outstanding help and friendly service best regards Justin Pipes
The process was quick and easy. The staff is very helpful and kind especially Mahrissa. I’m so excited to move in this weekend and I have a million and one questions. Mahrissa has been very patient with me and answered all of my questions. that’s very much appreciated
The move in process was very quick, our unit had been freshly repainted and cleaned before move in.
The staff was very helpful in showing me an apartment and explaining all the details of the application process. The procedures are clear and they make sure you understand everything before applying. Facilities are clean/well-kept!
