Recently toured the property on the weekend. The property is older but looks great. Christi was very professional and was very knowledgeable about the property. She was very nice and my father loved chatting with her. We really enjoyed the tour but ended up choosing a location closer to downtown Greenville.

Hi Anonymous User, thank you so much for your 5-star review of Cobalt Springs!
First of all what you pay for these units it crazy, then once they add all their misc fees its more insane, rent continues to go up and the property is going down. They charge you a trash fee and then never come take the trash, they charge you pest control and never spray, my cat has killed 2 mice and the office could care less, we find roaches walking on the walls in the hall way and they will not exterminate. You can never reach the staff, the office is always closing, they charge you admin fees for the sake of charging them, you can only pay your rent online via a portal and they charge you more fees to pay your rent, to pay cash you have to go to money gram and incur more fees. They are so nice to you during the leasing process and then forget about any further communication from them. Staff changes every few months so you can not keep up. Our building is currently infested gnats due to mold in the units, you cant not get your calls, emails or work orders answered. They will literally change the status of a work order to completed and you have never heard from them. The common areas of the apartments are disgusting, they smell and are very dirty. Dog owners will leave their pets out on the patios to use the bathroom which then in turn spills onto the patios of the units below them & nothing is done, office will actually recommend you go be neighborly and confront the neighbors yourselves. The mail boxes get broken into, the mail room broken into, vehicles broken into, if you have packages delivered to your door - they will be stolen. And the young adults and children who live in the community have absolutely no home training, they will scream at the top of their lungs in the buildings, running through the buildings like its their playground, slamming the doors so hard that they break, we had kids recently kicking doors so hard that several were actually broken, they flip over the benches thru the community, tie up the swings at the parks and will stand in the parking lots throwing rocks at cars. You can report it and call the police as well and nothing is done. The rental crisis is bad but save yourself the extra stress and dont move here.

Hi, Our residents mean a lot to us, and we'd like to discuss these items you have mentioned in person. Can you shoot me an email at rsmith@nhe-inc.com to continue the conversation? I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you, Rhudy
Beware of mold in apartments Water leaks that don’t get fixed And like previous others have said they don’t help with issues
Living there was okay, however it takes forever to get your security deposit back. It’s been almost 5 months & I haven’t received anything but a bill from collections because Cobalt Springs failed to inform me about a charge. I’ve been calling to speak with them ever since I received the bill and I’ve been getting the run around. one lady told me that the only thing I should have to pay is for a trash violation which totals $50, but my bill is saying I owe $100 and nobody can tell me why! She was supposed to email me an updated copy of everything and she never did. I called back and now I’m back at square one because she doesn’t even know what’s going on..
The assistant manager is rude and they do not get in contact with you in regards to issues that needs to be resolve. I’ve been here since December and I will not renew after this. We are using an app now to pay our rent and it’s been the absolute worse experience between that and the new “assistant manager.” Who walks around like she own the world
Worst apartment complex I’ve ever seen. Non existent customer service from the office. Will make you tons of promises and never follow through. Especially regarding maintenance. We had sewage water from upstairs leaking in our bathroom and didn’t have if fixed for 6 days. Had to deal with a terrible smell because the maintenance team wouldn’t clean anything up even after they fixed it. No customer service or even pretending to care about our situation. This is one issues of thousands that we’ve had here the past two years.

Thank you for bringing your concerns at Cobalt Springs Apartments to our attention. Our team strives to reach a five-star review with all our valuable residents and guests. We would love to discuss in detail your issues and work to resolve them with you. Please email us at contact@gvamgt.com so we can discuss in detail.
I’ve lived in cobalt since late 2017. I have never had a maintenance request successfully fulfilled by the maintenance team. All they do is slap paint over mold, half way fix issues, and I was even told that I would have to come out of pocket if I had one more maintenance request in regards to my toilet being stopped up. I live in an older building and this complex was built in 1975 I know by now the pipes are horrible so the clogging issue was not my fault. Since late last year 2019 a new company bought out the complex and the women in the leasing office are very rude. This is the most non-helpful staff I have ever experienced. I’ve also had Christmas packages stolen from out front of my door and also personal items stolen from my car. I made the leasing office aware and they did not care nor have they done anything there aren’t even cameras outside of the buildings or inside either and I’m sure they won’t ever install any!

Nice and quite, love our apartment. The staff has all been friendly and extremely helpful. In the two years of being here both the office and maintance team have been awesome! Love calling this home!

Thanks for the five-star rating of Cobalt Springs! It's wonderful that you've enjoyed two happy years here so far. Your residency is appreciated. Please don't hesitate to reach out if we can be of assistance to you. Have a great day!
Poorly maintained roach motel. $3 a month pest control that you don't receive. Roaches everywhere. Not enough hot water because 2 of the 3 water heaters in this end of the building aren't working or being replaced. Pot smoking fighting neighbors below that stink our apartment up with 2nd hand pot smoke. When my lease is up we're out of this pathetically maintained dump. Radco sucks, it sucks!!!

Only gave it one star because zero wasn’t an option. Have had nothing but problems since the day we moved in. Was not able to see the apartment prior to signing lease and paying the money because it was “being painted and remodeled“. Everything is outdated and completely different than the pictures they show online. Drawers that keep falling out and causing sawdust and Wood to fall underneath them into your cookware, filthy apartment, massive cat urine reeking from the bedroom into the rest of the apartment, no ceiling fans or lights in living or bedroom areas, residents continuing to feed feral cats putting other residents and their pets at risk of rabies and other diseases, constant, unrelenting noise at all hours of the day and night from upstairs residents (have not slept more than 3 to 4 hours in the last month since we’ve moved in here). People who do not pick up after their dogs, vicious breeds permitted even though the lease states that they are not, continual pest problems with German roaches and spiders, and the list goes on. Management doesn’t do their job to resolve the problems. Apparently they don’t care about other people’s lack of peaceful enjoyment as long as they are getting their money. Spoke with two other previous tenants who had all the same issues. Would NEVER recommend this complex to anyone unless there looking for complete misery and a waste of money

We're sorry that you had a less than enjoyable time while residing at our community. We welcome feedback from all residents, both current and former, so please feel free to contact us at 864-268-6750 or cobaltspringsmanager@radcoliving.com with more information about your experiences here. We'll apply your feedback toward improving our services. Thank you.
From the time we moved in, we've had nothing but issues. LITERALLY EVERY TIME we had a maintenance issue, it look multiple phone calls to the office & multiple visits from maintenance to get the issues resolved. We ALWAYS had to call to find out when they'd be back because they didn't show up when they said they would. The office staff is completely unhelpful. When we were trying to finalize the mortgage on our house, the office would not cooperate with our bank in providing rent verification. Even when I explained that they were holding up our home loan, I had to call twice before they agreed to provide rent verification to our bank. There is no rent drop box. You can pay online (for a fee), mail your check (for a stamp), or rearrange your schedule so that you can stop by the office when they are actually open to drop off the rent check in person. They send "invoices" every month for your rent. One time, one of these invoices had a different amount than we normally pay, so we paid that amount. Next thing we know, we get a late notice. I called to ask about it & was told, "oh, those invoices aren't always right." Me: "Then why do you keep sending them?" OFFICE: "Oh, we don't send those out." Me: "Then can you not have whoever is sending them out STOP sending them since they aren't accurate?" OFFICE: "No, that's just our policy. We have no control over them." Me: "Then can you please at least make sure they're right?" OFFICE: "Oh, we don't send those out." Back & forth. Our apartment has both roaches & carpet beetles. Pictures online might be pretty, but don't be fooled. Our kitchen cabinets are literally falling apart & look like they are about to fall off the wall. Cops have been called multiple times to several of our neighbors for domestic disputes. Arrests have been made on multiple occasions. Construction of these buildings is terrible. We can hear literally every step our upstairs neighbors take. We can hear them have sex. We can hear them talking. We can hear their music at 6:00 AM. We can hear other neighbors' children crying through the walls. We can hear our neighbors practicing the piano. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE & DON'T RENT HERE. It's pretty telling that ALL of the most recent reviews are one star. Radco Properties is terrible to deal with. It's obvious that they are not at all interested in providing good customer service. No matter what they're response is to this review, DO NOT BELIEVE IT.

We're sorry that your stay at Cobalt Springs hasn't been living up to expectations. Customer service is our most important job, and a disappointed resident impacts our whole team and the community. A member of our team will reach out to you directly to help resolve these issues, but feel free to call the leasing office again at (864) 302-8110. Thank you.
Seriously, don't be fooled by the pictures.. they're lying, the pictures barley look like the real thing. The staff is nice but the maintenance people are bad, unorganized, and lazy. The appliances are old and need updating. The carpet smells like pee, and downtown isn't all that close as they put it...

We apologize that you feel we have misrepresented our community. We would like to speak with you in person to learn how we can better meet your expectations. Please stop by the leasing office at your earliest convenience. Thank you.

We're sorry to hear this feedback. Please give us a call so we can learn more about the issues you've described. We want everyone to be happy here!
I can't understand why this apartment complex can't keep a reasonable maintenance staff available, especially when you are dealing with gas lines my friend had a gas leak less than a week after moving in. Was considering moving here for the price but not worth it.
Property Manager at Cobalt Springs, Responded To This Review
We are sorry to hear this. We take all maintenance issues seriously. Your friend is welcome to contact us at (864) 268-6750 regarding this matter. Thanks.
I can't believe how apartment staff handle disputes between residents, I witnessed a couple have the police called on them for sharing a kiss by the pool, meanwhile I can't seem to come home without smelling marijuana in my apartment building.
I regret seeking out an apartment here, I have since had negative experiences with Both Lisa and Caitlyn. I'm so glad I dodged that bullet by deciding not to sign a new lease.
I was over at my friends house when she had to call the office about I couldn't believe how rude the office staff was, they laughed at her. I was considering leasing here until my friend showed me the black mold in her closet.

Me and my wife have had nothing but problems in fact our first week here we had a gas leak and the technition who came out thanked us for the not calling the fire marshall because they get calls about gas leaks all the time. The floors and walls are paper thin. Unfortunately main office is unprofessional and unproductive & can't keep a good maintenance crew.
Property Manager at Cobalt Springs, Responded To This Review
We are very sorry to hear that you are having these issues. A gas leak is a serious matter and we will do whatever it takes to resolve this issue. Please call our office at 864-268-6750 so we can discuss this matter along with your other concerns. We are here for you and would like to address and correct your grievances.
After initial move in complaints no screens in windows ,gas leaks, sink not working after a few days it took 5 days to replace my kitchen sink I had to do my dishes in the tub. Management was unresponsive floors and walls are paper thin. Would not recommend for anybody.
Property Manager at Cobalt Springs, Responded To This Review
Thank you for reaching out. We apologize if you have not had the best experience in our community. Our maintenance team works hard to resolve all issues in a timely and professional manner. We apologize if that was not the case. Please feel free to give us a call if you would like to discuss your concerns in more detail.
This apartment complex is horrible. I have lived here for almost 3 years. Since I have lived here they have shut the water off for the entire day 6 times. Each time saying it's a leak and it will be fixed for good. These people couldn't fix a sandwich. The breezeways at each build are filthy. The pool is managed by residents that set their own rules. Maintenance men are lazy and rude it's ridiculous. Price is cheap but you get what you pay for.
Living at The Granite at Taylors is an excellent experience. The management is outrageously great. The staff totally cares about us residents. There is awesome maintainance, if there's a problem it gets fixed. The complex is very peaceful with great neighbors. If you need a great place to stay, The Granite of Taylor's is the place to be.
Management here seems to think once you sign the lease hook line and sinker. Moved into the apartment and there was paint all over the apartment where the bottom of the wall and the carpet meet. The bath tubs were utterly filthy. Told the management and the response we got was "it happens." The apartment was obviously not inspected before we moved in. We were not able to see the apartment prior to moving because of the fact that they wanted us out of our apartment so they could move the new tenants in six days later.
The Granite at Taylor's is the best place to live. They have great amenities and great customer service when things do go wrong. I love the friendly staff always being available to help you. Everyone I have met who lives around me are awesome and friendly people. My son once said he feels like we are staying in a hotel atmosphere. The past four years of living here has been a heavenly experience.
I have lived here for many years and the apartments need to be updated. Other than that everything is okay. Location is good between Spartanburg and Greenville.
