Property Ratings at Cobblestone Creek Apartments
I read some bad reviews but they were a number of years ago. I was skeptical about moving in because we were coming from out of state and I could not really check the place out in person (neighborhood apartment etc) I have lived here for a month or so and decided to write a review. I haven't personally experienced any of those things talked about in the negative reviews from years ago and I think it is under new management. Pros: - Grounds stay maintained and clean - Maintenance fixes issues immediately - Neighborhood is nice and safe (low crime) - Close to a grocery store (across street) - Apartments are updated (fake granite counters new appliances etc) - Laundry in unit - Apartments are well insulated and you do not have to keep AC or Heat on high. - Close to dog parks Cons: - Rent does fluctuate but overall they're expensive. - Some of the neighbors do not pick up after their dogs and there is no repercussions. - Small bedrooms ( have to have a queen bed if you want anything else in the room) - There are a few closets but not a lot of storage space.

Current resident here. I give 4 stars because, from my experience, I think it is a very nice place to live for some folks (not for everyone). The Problem: Tenants can smoke inside their apartments and by the structural design, it seeps into neighboring units. My neighbor next door smokes and it seeps through my kitchen. The neighbor above her can smell it through the bathroom vent. It's bad. We didn't know this moving into our units. If you don't ask, management will not tell you. We have complained to management about it. Maintenance, Ivan, really tried his best to seal all the gaps around the pipes under my sink, and the neighbor's kitchen sink area, in an attempt to block the smell but to no avail. Management really have no power to change this. The company, First Pointe Management Group, who owns this complex are the ones who can change the lease/policy. I haven't reached out to them yet (so stay tuned). So consider this a PSA that if you have allergies, asthma, or simply don't want to be exposed to secondhand smoke everyday, either make sure the surrounding neighbors don't smoke indoors or don't move here. Because there's always the risk that a neighbor will move in after you that smokes indoors. Aside from this, there are many pros living here and this is just my experience. I think this complex is best for working adults with smallish pets. They have that nice dog park in the back. It's located close to the freeway and major shopping areas. Has a nice gym! Pool is small and there's no hot tub, unfortunately. My unit is nicely updated with laminate floors, granite countertops, and full size washer and dryer. It's not too small. It's enough space for 2 people living in a 1 bedroom. Neighbors are quiet. However I live on the first floor and you can hear footsteps VERY well. Not the neighbor's fault, it's the building structure. The neighbor upstairs had a dog for a short while and I could hear it running back and forth. If you're a light sleeper, that may be an issue. I don't think this place is great for small children because there's no place for kids to play safely. I see the kids playing out in the parking lot and a couple of times a kid shoots out on a scooter/bike in front of my car as I'm driving in. Also, we're right off of Sunrise Blvd, a hectic street and there's no park close enough to walk to really. Like I said, great for working adults with small pets.

I don’t live here but I came to visit my family who reside in cobblestone creek apartments my stay was about a week and I can’t even begin to say that even my visit wasn’t pleasant, my sister is so unhappy here at these apartments as they DO NOT offer a lease break off you can only pay off the remainder of your lease term in full if you want to leave. I have other friends who use to live here and they left because of the management. I do not recommend this complex.
Poorly built apartments you can hear everything!! Not a safe area for a family. Some cars have been vandelized here! Neighbors aren’t very friendly. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone
Horrible management, they are extremly unhelpful l at almost everything. Auto theft and stray cats wondering around. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!!!!!
I wouldn't give even 1 star to these apartments. We moved in for a short term lease (3 months) due to family financial situation and wasn't sure if we will continue living there or not. Closer to the end of our first lease we needed to continue either for 3 more months or month-to-month option. What was our surprise to get a notice (less than 30 days) that they doubling the price for our apartment on a month-to-month basis, not giving us 3 month lease option, or we can consider 6-month or longer! After a continuous fight with the management that it's against the law: first of all to give such a short notice, second to discriminate our right for 3 month lease, and third (by law) if the increase is more than 10% they should sent us at least 60 days notice. Management replied that this law doesn't apply to us! Although law citation says opposite. Our begging to consider our financial problems no one wanted to listen. We ended up paying almost $2600 for a tiny 1-bed in Roseville!!! They completely took advantage of our situation The most greedy, commercialized, hungry for money apartment complex I've ever lived in and the worst experience I've ever had! DO NOT RECOMMEND!
Rude neighbors it's like they all bunched up here! A lady that lives next to me is always bashing my kids and cursing at them for being "loud" any time of the day! I respect late night noise and early morning but during the day they can't play or laugh without this lady complaining about how loud they are being and using extreme violent language! Have spoke to management / office about it and they seem to do nothing besides leave a notice on my front door about this women(neighbor) complaints as if it's my fault! NOT MY FAULT THAT THESE APARTMENTS ARE NOT SOUND PROOF!! Kids are kids that's what they do they are loud and messy. The office staff was not understanding and didn't help at all to resolve the issue. Not a place to live with a family!!!!! Do not reccomend!
