We moved in last week and the apartment manager has been amazing Bri Auna Boyd has made transitioning from another state so much easier, answered all our questions and any problems we have had she has personally seen that it was fixed. The apartments are beautiful and spacious were very happy with our decision to move here. And grateful for Bri Auna in so many ways!

I’m active-duty Navy, stationed on the Weapons Station. I chose this location because the drive was super convenient to base and the reviews were mostly ok. The first two years I was here everything went great (except the gate to the apartment complex has been broke for at least 18 months now. They keep saying they are working on it and pushing back the date for when it will be fixed). For about 6 months now, the dumpster is always overflowing with trash in the street, teenagers and adults yell curse words and the N word around the pool area and playground, I’ve started seeing roaches in my apartment and somehow they keep “overlooking” my request through their online tenant portal for an exterminator. I go for daily runs and over half the apartment complex always smells like weed, and you can see the very obvious drug deals that occur toward the back of the complex throughout the night( which could be helped if they ever fix the gate). The positive reviews on this website are clearly written by the workers themselves. I promise you there are very few people here currently who would not love to break their lease. It’s gone down hill so much recently! Not to mention the workers will give you attitude every time you express your concerns. Please save yourself the headache I’m experiencing and rent from a better complex.

Renewed for another year and got my carpets cleaned. $ went up a little but sure beats what I found at all the places near my work. Thank you Becky for help with the renewal the process was super easy.

Anything in the Internet is not for me but I wanted to tell about my experience. When I have any issues becky and braxton are responsive. I have good neighbors (and bad) come and go over the years but that is life these days. Last month I had a problem I thought was going to be big deal but I met with dunk and he worked it out.

Moved down from Norfolk to 1 bed. Fine. Was able to things all on their portal. Pretty sweet not having all the typical paper work and stuff. Pleased to see all the new shops and food being built right near.

Sometimes life happens and situations get tough. I have had a lot of family issues that have forced me to travel...causing me to spend $$$ i didn’t have budgeted. Becky and the staff were very sympathetic and understanding. On top of that the community staff was at the mailboxes today giving out cold drinks. “Coke and a smile” helped brighten my day a little.

I am mostly writing this recommendation because there are suckers (the candy) in the office. I was in there the other day with my two kids and they were crazy for the suckers. Thank you. My 2 bed has been great. The sunroom gives us the extra space we need for stuff with a fair price.

I would consider you to find another apartment complex. I would not recommend this place to no one. The size of the apartment is not worth the rent monthly. My boyfriend and I were going to move but unfortunately he got into a head on accident on the main road at the complex and passed away in March. So my 2 month old son at the time and I did not live in the apartment since then and our lease was up in June. I could not get out of our lease and so therefore I had to struggle for the next few months to come up with the rent. They don't do a final walk through with you and just tell you it takes 30 days to get your security deposit back. Well they gave me my check in my boyfriend and I name knowing that this was the reason for me moving out. Went there in July to give them proper documentation and gave them back the check so that they can write in just my name. It's now almost 3 months later and I have still not received my check. Been calling and they keep giving me the run around. If I don't receive my check soon, I will be taking them to court.
DO NOT MOVE HERE. unless you are looking for tons of hidden fees a Staff that will never answer the phone. It will seem nice when you are touring the apartment but the second you sign your lease everything will change.I assure you this will likely be one of the biggest financial mistakes of your life.Very unfriendly environment to pets.
Don't move here ! Property is always dirty...trash compactor is always spewing garbage onto the sidewalk....pool is always closed....this summer DHEC even had to close the pool for a week or two.........maintenence department is horrible.....you battle all summer long to get them to fix your air conditioning properly. .....office staff is super friendly until you move in and then your treated like trash.....office staff doesn't know how to do their job correctly...we had 5 friends that lived here when we moved in we are the last to go.....they left because of the poor service both office and maintence.....I would never recommend this property to anyone !!!!
***We had been looking for apartments in the North Charleston area for almost two weeks, and had really become very discouraged with extremely overpriced and somewhat rude apartment management and office personnel. When I called Cobblestone, I was very pleasantly surprised with the politeness, and helpfulness of Carrie and Crystal. They went out of their way to help us, answer any and all questions, and give us information about what units were available, and what would be available in our time frame. **Extremely polite, not in a hurry to get off the phone, and very courteous. I can't say enough about their kindness. We have dealt with multiple apartment complexes and disorganized management over the past 5 years, and these 2 girls get 5 stars and above with their customer service. Can't wait to get moved to the area, and Jared looks forward to living in a such a wonderful community! :) :) Thank you Crystal and Carrie. Jan Fortune Public Safety at Davidson College Davidson, NC

My husband and I moved into cobblestone village apartments last October. During the last 8 months we had 3 dryers break and the man at the appliance place said it's something to do with the electricity, cobblestone wouldn't help fix it. We put maintinence requests in in October they took months to come. Their customer service is absolutely horrible and they never allow you to speak with a property manager. I have gone in more than once to get maintinence to come or solve issues with the apartment and they act as if it was a burden to help. DO NOT MOVE HERE! IT IS HORRIBLE!
Property Manager at Cobblestone Village, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your feedback. I am so sorry that your experience hasn’t been great so far. I am the new manager at Cobblestone and am working to turn that all around. Please feel free to drop in and speak to me at any time or email me at kleckie@cobblestonevillage-apts.com. I would love to address any concerns you have. We have new maintenance personnel at this time and I am confident that you will be pleased with the customer service you receive with them, as well as in the office from now on.
You receive it dirty and pay for it when you move out. Hot water is poor and the water pressure is low. If you are a special needs family you will get harassed for noise. And the staff is never conaistant. Don't waste your money time and emotions on this place.
We moved in quickly after our previous house was unlivable because of flood damage. Our apartment was not ready on our move-in date (stove didn't have drip pans, keys were not ready when I came to pick them up, no filter in the AC unit and cleaning was half-decent - at best). You cannot make any rent payments with cash or check and must pay them online through their portal either by ACH or with a debit/credit card/money order. They charge a ridiculous convenience fee to use cards at all on their website (some companies up to 8%). Don't try and pay a single day late because on top of your late fee, they no longer allow you to pay with the ACH, so you're assessed another $40 charge in order to pay with your card or you have to go to the store to send them a payment via MoneyGram. The office won't take blame for any of the fees and instead blame it on my bank and the "payment system" they use. Maintenance is a joke. They only do landscaping work to keep the grounds neat. None of the items that I marked needed repaired when I moved in have been dealt with (some of them we just fixed ourself) and the one job that maintenance did "fix" doesn't work right. They replaced a sink sprayer that was broken, but the new one doesn't spray. I didn't trust them enough to have them come back again to do the job right. The gates to get in and out of the community are broken more often then they are fixed.
There are bugs and the staff in office is rude. Too pricy for what you get.
It's getting better than what it was when I first moved in. Management is more involved with tenants and response time is quicker when any issues. Apartments are average, nothing fancy and nothing special. Slightly higher priced for the value.
It was nice at first but watch your water bill seriously, some staff very knowledgeable but others a little incompetent. Suppose to be gated but the gates stayed open for about a month and one is open now. They have good maintenance when they allow them to work. Read your lease because if it starts on the first it should end on the first. Reasonable nice apartments available in the Goose Creek area with water included look for them before you come here.
Grounds could be landscaped better more pine straw limb pickup , flowers at entrance. I would like to have entrance off st James more lit up. Can not see flag and road at night or when it rains. That is my biggest hang up , hard to see... What up with that? There is a sign but no light on it!!! Likes and suggestions: Close to stores but not too contested area
I would not recommend this neighborhood unless the following things are of no issue to you: There is a gated entrance..that is open half of the time, so there really is no point to it...even at 10 o clock at night...it is open...perfect time for crime... The "gym/workout facility" consist of 6 cardio machines in a non ventilated room that is not maintained...the trash can is overflowing and the machines are rusty and dirty...there is a theater that has an awful odor and bathrooms for the pool that are not maintained either...(overflowing trash, not cleaned) ..the laundry facility has washing machines with standing water in them...None of theses " amenities " are maintained or kept clean for you to enjoy, but they have about 10 people outside cutting grass at 8 in the morning... It is not what they advertise it to be for the amount that you are paying in rent...Oh yeah the walls and floors are very thin, so you will hear every step you neighbors take
Property Manager at Cobblestone Village, Responded To This Review
Don't forget the water bills
Parking is very bad. There usual is no parking if you arrive after 5pm. The walls and floors between apt are very thin and you can hear every for step and bang from neighbors. Likes and suggestions: Very well rounded with diverse people.
The staff is the icing on the cake, very professional and understanding. Great people
There was only one dumpster for the whole complex and it was always full. People would just leave their trash piled up outside it. The "gate" didn't work 90% of the time and most of the workout equipment they had was broken. Likes and suggestions: Nothing.
I love how quiet it is. I highly suggest the staff be trained on customer service, just one in particular really. Also, maintain the amenities such as the gym properly and the gate. We're paying for "luxury" and aren't receiving it on a consistent basis.
I find the community to be quiet and respectful of one another. I Feel that the gated community allows a safety that most apartment complexes do not have. I love the staff they are friendly, helpful and maintenance has done a superb job of responding to any fixes that I have had.
No baskeball courts,or other recreational things to do besides a swimming pool.
Trash/dumpster, furniture all outside of the dumspter, lack of activities (there isn't a "community") here, poorto no maintenance on the gym equipment, almost half of the summer the pool has been closed because the water is green
Thank you for your comments. I am not sure what you mean by too strict about plants we do allow residents to place nice flowers and plants outside their home. We do have a building that we do not allow smoking in the apartments. This building is designated as a Non Smoking Building. The only other request we have is that residents do not smoke in any of the building breezeways as this is to respect those who do not smoke and also assists with cigarette butts being disposed of improperly. We will look into your suggestion regarding cigarette urns. We appreciate that you have chosen Cobblestone Village as your home and please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: The staff is great! Becky always has a smile :-) They learned who I was when I moved in and speak to me like I am a neighbor, not a customer.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: I liked the atmosphere and the vast amount of parking available. I did not like the trash compactor or the fact that there was only one. People more often than not left their trash on the ground next to the compactor door, creating an unsightly mess as well as a potential health hazard. For an apartment complex of that size, two of those compactors should have been installed.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: It is friendly and havent had problems since we have lived here with anyoe
My likes and dislikes about this community are: The community is a nice community. Nothing spectacular, but very nice. Like the quietness of the community.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: I like that it is a gated community because I feel safe. I also enjoy the workout area; it's convenient! The staffs in the office are friendly and that makes a difference.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: Walls are paper thin. Maintenance repairs are shotty at best.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: I love this apartment everyone is very friendly and nice. A lot of kids witch it great. The pool is nice starts at 1 foot and goes to 5 foot.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: I like that everyone is friendly and when i need assistance it's always provided
My likes and dislikes about this community are: I gave 4s in social scene: never went to a function but they had one a month; parking: I wish each apartment had 1 assigned space, I usually got a good one but on weekends the cars seem to triple; quiet: motorcycles were allowed and would come through at all hours, only noise problem.
