Property Ratings at Cobblestone Village
Moved in right out of high school with my boyfriend and this place is amazing and affordable especially for the neighborhood! Tony the maintenance guy is always helpful and very friendly. The lady who works in the front is extremely understanding and so kind as well! Overall a very quiet and safe community and would recommend to anyone.
lived here for a little over three years from '17-'20. It was a quiet neighborhood on the westside besides the occasional fly overs, and the street racing at night off of Herndon. The property management was very professional, and prompt with repairs around the complex. Tony is the best repairman out there! Give that man a raise. Star is an awesome property Management Manager. She could always answer any question or concerns that I had. Most importantly she was fair and treats everyone with respect. There are yearly increases in rent but they're not exorbitant. The one thing I did miss is when they completely closed off the hot tub. If you're looking for something reasonably priced and in a quiet neighborhood this is the place.
Management - OK Neighborhood - Good Landscape - Good Apartment conditions - Below average Goods: -Quiet neighborhood -Presence of ducks quacking -Good landscaping/maintenance Cons: -Older equipments in the apartment -Mold in restroom shower stall that has been re-painted to prevent visualizing -While showering, if someone in your household turns on the sink water, the water temp drastically changes. -$50 water bill every month, doesn't matter if you use little water usage or a lot, be expected to pay $50-55 every month for water usage -Dog stools on lawns/very annoying -Rodent issues during the cold season Security Deposits: -Expect to be fully used and if you are lucky, you'll receive 10% back.
best apartment complex I have ever lived in. very roomy and quiet....management is very helpful. Only downside is that you pay for water and it is a little pricey but worth well worth it.
As a new professional, I wanted to find a little bit more luxurious place to live. Having lived in small cramped apartments and having shared small cramped apartments with messy roommates, I decided to upgrade my home. Apartments are difficult to research online, at least a little bit. Most complexes don't have websites of their own, and if they do, it seems that the reviews are not always as good as they should be. It came to mind that an apartment complex that doesn't advertise nor has a flashy website might actually be a decent place to live. I had a friend that once lived in this same apartment complex, but when it came time to look for myself I had forgotten about it. I'm very glad that it was recommended to me! Arriving at the office, I was greeted by a manager that was fun, enthusiastic, and matches my sense of humor. A few discussions later and a few weeks later, I signed papers and moved in. The apartment itself is a two bedroom and two bath room model. It's very spacious and with the vaulted ceilings, it seems even larger. The grounds are fairly small as the complex is divided into two separate plots across a semi busy street from one another. My apartment is well lit by natural light during the day which is a big deal for me! When my blinds are open, I can look across the roadway and see a park-like setting complete with ponds and a number of duck residents. In the mornings, if my windows are open, I can hear the ducks making noise as they forage in the lawns for their morning breakfast. Don't be in too big a hurry to leave in the morning, there may be a family of ducks crossing the road in front of you and they don't seem to mind holding you up for just a few moments. Back to my apartment, I have a slider out of my dining room and out of the master bedroom into a fairly good sized backyard. Sadly, the complex does not take care of your backyard, however they do allow you to do pretty much whatever you would like in that space as you see fit. Hearing a little bit more of the history of the complex there were stories of residents that have lived in the complex since it was built. That was wholly unbelievable to start with, but having lived here for a little while I can see why they decided not to leave. The staff is generally friendly. I have had maintenance done on my apartment a couple of times and they are courteous, efficient, and skilled. All in all, I'm very happy I moved into Cobblestone Village!
I have lived here at Cobblestone Village for a couple of years now and I have been very happy. Cobblestone is really like a family of sorts. They have fun activities and events for everyone. The grounds are beautiful, with mature trees, flowers and duck ponds. It is in a very nice part of town and close to everything. The people are nice, it is pet friendly. No trouble ever. The apartments are very spacious and were designed extremely well. Each bedroom has two really large closets. The downsides are they are a little dated, especially in the kitchens and bathrooms and they are (what I think) pricey. You have to pay for your water, sewage and garbage separately and also pet rent. All in all great though!
I couldn't believe that I had to start dating again after several years of apartment monogamy. As things were I had to get back out in the field to find "the one." I began my search on the #1 apartment dating site, apartments.com. Thanks in large part to a catchy commercial. I initially spotted some hot properties but was overwhelmed and so i had to narrow my search for "the one." Then, I saw here, so pretty and such a great location. She was the first one I met and I must say it was love at first site. Sadly, I found out she wasn't available. She was already seeing someone. I was heartbroken but had to keep looking anyway. I found one that had all the bells and whistles but no depth. As time was running out I had a few hours to make a decision. Well, I said a quick prayer asking for a chance with the one my heart desired and wouldn't you know it. Within 15 minutes I got a call from "the one" saying she was available. I took a leap for joy and met with her and began our relationship and no looking back I am completely happy and boy is she a winner.
