Supermarkets, convenience stores, and casual dining are abundant in this laidback city. If you’re looking for peaceful suburban streets that feature affordable apartments and single-family homes, Cocoa is a wonderful city to consider. Major interstates run through the city, and conservation areas and lakes reside nearby—so outdoor exploration and aquatic recreation is within reach!
On the southeast edge of the city, you’ll discover Historic Cocoa Village, the city’s charming commercial district overlooking the nearby boats on the river.

Property Ratings at Cocoa Village Apartments
The owner is trying to get people to move out so they can turn units into Airbnb’s. The noise is awful day and night. The floors are so thin that you can hear the upstairs neighbors walking, talking and screaming. The termites are ridiculous and they just spray the unit and walk away. There’s critters living in the walls and scratch all night long.
I stayed here for almost 4 years. Very cute apartments, nice pool. Laundry facilities are a joke (2 old, rusty washing machines, 2 or 4 similarly cruddy dryers, in a shed by the parking lot) -- Use the Lost Sock laundromat on Barton instead. Very minimal parking, but that's to be expected in the Village. Maintenance was generally helpful when called upon, with a couple exceptions. Good sound-proofing between side-by-side units (neighbors on one side used to fight and scream all the time but it was at least muffled), but upstairs/downstairs is the opposite -- You can hear *everything* through the floor/ceiling. During the stay of two consecutive downstairs tenants, I went MONTHS without a decent night's sleep and nobody (not the neighbors themselves, the office, or local code enforcement) would do anything about it. Too bad! Otherwise, I'd probably still be living there.
We've had a hard time here, I've lived here for the past year with my boyfriend and my 16 month old son. We have a one bedroom that we have grown out of. It's extremely loud downstairs because the people are always partying or having company even at 3 am! We are sick of this place! Time to move on(:
