Property Ratings at Tides on Hulen
German roaches pop up in our kitchen, living room, and bedroom. Always finding adult ones in our cabinets, near our plates. Everytime there is food being cooked I find like 5 baby roaches crawling on the floor. Pest control is not so helpful, feels like they spray WATER. This is a hazard. Been getting roach rash on my skin.
This place is trash if I could rate it zero stars I would. The office people are horrible especially the manager Cheyenne, the phones are never answered. The apartments are all infested and the water is constantly always being turned off. Thank god to be out of this place. If you’re looking for a home please look else where.

Where do I even start? First, these apartments are trash and very cheaply renovated. Not all have been upgraded. The "maintenance" people never fix anything. The office never answers the phone. The manager will not talk to you. The management overall is horrible. The water is always having to be turned off due to leaks. They never actually fix anything. They patch up problems as they come about. Dog poop is everywhere. There are weeks where the trash won't be picked up and the dumpsters are overflowing. But every month they have a resident appreciation day which means you get a pizza for half off . They brought in a food truck to serve food on the day the pool opened. Yet they can't seem to fix anything.
Just recently moved in and when I say I’m ready to leave already I can’t wait for the lease to be over first and foremost it took forever to get appliances in my unit I was living here with no dishwasher, microwave, nor a stove. They lie about coming to fix things all the time and NEVER answer their phone. When they finally installed my dishwasher I went to run it and it was leaking and I notified them almost 2 weeks about it and it has yet to be fix. Things that were previously broken from the other residents have yet been fixed it’s so annoying and also upstairs neighbors stomp all day and night and cats roam on your balcony any time of the day. Please save the headache and choose another apartment.
They lie, a lot. I came in thinking that basic utilities were included in the rent ( which is what they advertised) and find out that they are separate charges on the side. The neighbors are loud and obnoxious — there are cats and dogs running around the property at all times of the day and you can hear the loud bass of a car and a leaf blower very clearly. If you want somewhere peace and quiet — go somewhere else. Also, management is very bad about answering their phone and after send it to voicemail even if they are in the office. AND they don’t arrive to work on time. They are never inside the building at 10AM, your best bet is to come around 12PM. Horrible. They also didn’t install any fire alarms for me — I found them in the kitchen cabinets and they haven’t answered my maintenance request to have them installed. This is a SAFETY HAZARD. Please save your money, even if they are pretty go, somewhere else.
The layout was great, but none of our maintenance requests were ever completed. Our dishwasher did not work the entire 2 years we lived there despite speaking to office staff and putting in multiple maintenance requests online. Our AC leaked anytime we turned it on and towards the end of our lease, mold began growing on the doorframe it leaked on. This was also reported multiple times and never taken care of. We had several other issues that either were just not taken care of or were fixed so poorly they had to be fixed again. It is also impossible to get the office staff to answer the phone. Anytime I needed to talk to someone, I had to go to the office.
We went in to tour a 2 brm apartment, the leasing agent and property manager are so helpful and amazing. The apartment is very well priced for the amount of space. Nice size pool I would definitely recommend checking them out
The management staff is terrible. Any time you talk to them they talk to you like you’re an idiot or when you prove to them they made a mistake they get rude and refuse to fix it. We have had issues with them the last few months and the only way things get resolved is if you call corporate. This place is terrible i would never come back.
Short version: 0/5 stars. Avoid this place. Read more if you’d like to know the details. If 0/5 stars was an option I’d be using that instead. Kitchen equipment is extremely outdated. It’s hilarious that this place had a 4.0/5 stars on here before I reviewed it. I can guarantee you those are not real reviews. Lol “quiet and peaceful.” That is such a lie. This place is full of loud and obnoxious people who have no respect for others. There are some neighbors that are friendly, but most of the people here are childish. I had my car broken into, people blast loud music all hours of the night and the front office could care less. My upstairs neighbors even pulled knives on each other and the police were called and yet they still live here?? The front office is abysmal. They have zero respect or concerns for their residents. I have been asking for just about 8months for the maintenance to fix my ceiling in my bathroom that was falling apart and they still won’t do it. They started it about 6 months ago and never finished. If you want something done at this place you have to ask about 20 times and you’d be lucky if they even get the job done after asking that many times. It’s very clear that this place has zero concern for their residents. They want your money and that’s about it. Also, they give their residents a code for the front gate that has not even worked for the 10 months I’ve been here. Literally anyone can come into the complex. They close the gate for the exit but not the entrance, it makes no sense. All in all, avoid this place. Pay extra if you can to live in a place that you will be treated with some respect, because coffee creek wouldn’t know what that is. Unprofessional and trashy is all I have to say about this place. This place doesn’t deserve your money. These millionaire land owners only want to fill their pockets.
While I would have good things to say about this complex, due to the current Corvid situation I am extremely disappointed. The community was recently given a paper that a member tested positive for the virus, however the paper was dated 3 days before we were given it. They have been hounding everyone on how to properly pay their rent on time- no suspension, no help, no exceptions. While I like this place, I’m disappointed to see the lack of support, safety, and care for the community.
Great Office Staff! Except the manager. However it is very quiet and maintenance takes care of issues immediately.
Good neighbors, nice management and leasing staff- clean grounds and pool. Have been very happy here this year and I definitely plan to renew for another year!
I like the quietness of the complex. I enjoy the relaxing pool area with the water fountain sounds in the background. Management has always been friendly and helpful. Although it may take a few calls to resolve any maintenance issues.
Quiet. The staff is very nice makes u feel at home ..like the way they separate singles from families. ..
