I am very disappointed and upset by the treatment I received in the office from the administration, it is a lack of respect, people who do not have a minimum of professional ethics, people without education. I am a visitor, I was visiting my relative, I had a vehicle registered, which was removed by a tow truck, I go looking for information at the office where I can consult it. I ask them why they took my car and they tell me that there is no specific area for continuous visits, there are few spaces designated for visitors, which must indicate VISITOR on the floor and are not continuous. I told him that there should be an area assigned only for CONTINUOUS visitors, which is the most normal and organized thing to do to avoid confusion. They asked me if I was the owner, I told them that I was visiting and my relative was getting ready to go to work, they told me that since I am not the owner that I should leave the office that I did not have. to make a suggestion or give an opinion on the matter. It's my car and I have every right to seek information because that's where they took my car. They kicked me out of the office as if I were a dog or a beggar. I'm very upset!!! My family member tells me that it is always the same with the attitude and response they give, having owned the complex for 3 and a half years. I make this comment because everyone has the right to express themselves as an owner, visitor or etc... What do these types of people do working in customer service? terrible management.
I've been living here for 2 years and new management and owners are doing really good changes to this well deserved apartment complex. The maintenance is on time, they have always exceeded the expectation ever since they took over. I moved to renovated unit and can't be happier! Love this location and improvements.
I've heard nothing good about this place. Roaches, poor lighting. Believed to be an old hotel built in the early 70's and now the tenants have been without water for over 8 hours. Right know we are in a pandemic and they have no way to even watch their hands. Seems to be a Breach of contract.
Noisy music blasting from cars at all times day and late night. Office phone always goes to voicemail and don't return calls. Office never responds to emails. Maintenance request will probably be fixed in 1-2 months later if you're lucky. AC will constantly break. Electricity will be randomly turned off. Trash everywhere. Teens smoking weed in broad daylight. Cars will be vandalized. Roaches and spiders all over the exterior of your apartment building. Pest control never comes. 3 days after rent is late they will evict you. They come all the way to your apartment to leave notice but won't fix any of the problems.
Roach infested, not only that. The tentants are a problem too my upstairs neigbors are always stomping and causing issues. The property is horrible. My bathroom roof caving in twice now. Not to mention my master sink smells like a sewage backup. The dumpsters overfill into the streets. Potholes everywhere. Worst place I've ever rented from.
Good area to live in but they have issues to fix specially with the people in the office .
The worst apartment facilities, Water supply are controlled, Limited car parking space for visitors, as we can say no space for the visitors. Not allowed to have two car, need to pay for parking. The apartment has water leakage. This new management is worst than before. Evan the toilet seat are baby seat. 0 Star if there is one.
After seeing all the CONSISTENT reviews about the water, sewer, trash, parking, maintenance and staff? I won’t even consider this place. I mean, YOUR TENANTS HATE YOU. They need to report this building and staff to the renters union. No one should live this way. Signed- Leasing somewhere else
I have lived here almost a year and they came and did pest control the first month we lived here (April 2018). They have not come since then (now January 2019). I have a roach infestation! I have reported it multiple times and they “keep taking it down” to make a work order. The water coming out of my faucets smell like straight sewage! Their is a sewage leak right outside my apartment where it runs into the parking lot and now is turning green and collecting algi. The trash trucks have not come in almost a week so the dumpster are over flowing into the streets! We have also not received statements for our rent in 3 months now. I told them until I receive a statement for my water and gas I won’t pay, they told me then you will receive late fees! Worse management and facilities I have ever experienced!!! Saving money to live here is NOT worth it!
Now the apartments have new owners who are even worse than the old owners. I have lived here for 2 and a half years only because this use to be the cheapest apartments in this area. Its bad enough that there is only one road in or out but there are potholes everywhere. The residents online portal doesn’t work so you can not see proof of what you are being charged every month. They have not sent out a bill or had online access for 2 months so you are paying whatever amount the management tells you. The maintenance team is gone so they are not fully staffed to handle all the issues for these old buildings. My neighbors have had their apartment flood, my apartment has had water issues with overflow. I have had toilet paper and poop floating on my back porch for a week now which is from everyone in my buildings toilet. My sink is backed up from water drainage of other apartments. Both phone numbers for the office don’t work I’ve had to go to the office and call their sister property to get any answer from leasing agents which can only keep telling me they are going to tell the owners. I don't blame the leasing agents let me be clear I blame the owners and management. I’m literally living in other people’s bodily waste and they refuse to call a plumber to fix this. Don’t move here even if you are desperate any where is better than here.
This apartment complex is aweful...they charge the tenants for water...but always have leaking water in various areas throughout the complex... Constant water main break and repairs... The complex itself is a hazard for kids because of the narrow one way in and one way out...if a kid was to dart from between two parked cars a person's react time is very low...potholes from the constant wet areas from the leaks...and slow repair from maintenance... It's been 4 weeks now and my mom still has no a/c or heat. Tell the staff...and it goes ignored or you get the brush off..not worth the time...if ya don't believe me...just take a drive thru it and see for yourself.
This has been the worst renting experience in my life. Management is awful, and they never follow up or follow through with ANYTHING. There are very large rats and roaches, not only inside but outside around dumpsters as well. The quality is awful the foundation is literally falling so there are cracks in the walls and dips in the floors. When I first moved here these poor qualities could be justified with low rent, where as now I am paying over 100$ more than when I 1st moved in a year ago with absolutely NO improvements. The pool is nice but they open and close it out side of the hours it is supposed to be opened and closed. They ALWAYS have the main water line off so you may come home from work with no working water. I've lived in apartments the past 10 years and this is BY far the absolute worst.
Pros: Friendly, attentive staff (Jose and Emanuel), great pool (with an 8ft. deep end), and the apartment itself is a good value. Cons: Service requests take weeks. "Emergency" maintenance requests are only truly emergencies if your apartment is on fire (this was a quote from one of the maintenance staff members). You sign up for rent at X, but they make you pay a 3% fee every month for paying online--which is mandatory. So my rent increased $25 for no reason. The laundry facilities are atrocious, and the machines are down for maintenance half the time regardless. There's no gym on the facility. The parking lot needs to be repaved. There are no sun shades. The air circulates poorly. Take Away: It comes down to this--if you're looking for a cheap, livable place, you're in luck. But this is one of the cheapest apartment complexes in the area, and you get what you pay for with Steeplechase.
