Property Ratings at College Crest
Every review here is terrible so the rating for 4.5 stars makes no sense! This place will do anything to get you to sign a lease. Once that happens and you are ready to move in, prepare for a list of at least 20 issues (repairs needed, bad cleaning crew, no promised amenities, garbage all over the grounds, the list goes on). Drive by this place and you can see for yourself, the pictures online are NOT representative.
They promised so many amenities including a hot tub, gym, lounge, and free printing. They have ZERO amenities. Some of the places don’t even come with a microwave like in the pictures. ANIMALS CAN GET INTO THE HOUSE. I’ve had bird in my vents, they made a nest in there and still the pipes outside don’t have a screen over them it’s so dumb. Luckily I only got birds in the house, I wouldn’t be surprised if this place became infested with rodents… so creepy. THEY TURNED OFF THE WIFI THREE TIMES, because the owners weren’t paying it. Currently it’s been off for a couple of months, probably won’t come back on, so let’s hope those living here have unlimited data or else they’re screwed. Oh yea and they still share us for the WiFi they don’t give us…Our washing machine stains light colored clothes with these gross yellow spots, ruined my roommates 100 dollar brand new comforter and they basically just said “oh… sorry the washing machines aren’t great”. The grounds are not taken care of at all, it’s overgrown and ugly with rusty nails sticking out EVERYWHERE. They claim to be pet friendly, however the walkways have nails sticking out, my dog cut open his paw on one it was so sad, so I can never let him run on the walkway. There’s a cat that hates dogs that they let roam around, it likes to sneak up on us and claw at my dog so we’re always on edge leaving the house. My building had no lights when I moved in, completely dark at night. Also, don’t trust most of the reviews on this site, the owners had people write a ton of fake reviews to make them look good. The only good things about this place is the desk and bed frame are pretty nice, the floors are nice ish, the room is a good size, it’s relatively cheap although I think they’re gonna start charging more. Also I got close with the property manager and front desk person, Luke and Randall are awesome. If you have a problem Randall will be over in 2 minutes
I signed up for a studio apartment lease in July 2020. I was told they were finishing construction so I’d start in a temp 3bed and move into the studio in October. It is July 2021 and I am still in the 3bed. Never moved into the apartment on my lease. There is no laundry anywhere on site. You need to drive to a laundromat. No business center, no clubhouse, no lounge, no multi use room, no fitness center, no spa, no game room, no media center, no fireplaces etc. parking is almost obsolete, constant construction sounds. Dumpsters are full 90% of the time. Trash bags sit on the ground next to the dumpsters. Trash, boxes, old toilets, etc are left out in the parking lot for weeks. Everything they have listed as an amenity is basically a lie. They are a pet friendly, furnished apartment complex and that’s about it. They do provide WiFi, but you need your own router. Closet/drawer space is also basically obsolete. Also, they do NOT have walk in closets. Honestly, most places in Pullman don't, despite advertising it. But expect to not have enough space. My closet is filled with my winter jackets and the drawers are so shallow you can't fit 2 pairs of jeans.
HORRID EXPERIENCE! Read all these reviews! Why does it have 5 stars when most are negative?! Just do a drive by and you will see, no parking, place is a dump. Poor management, including corporate. Liars. If you don’t have it in writing, forget it. They will say anything to get you in a lease, but have selective memory when it comes to following up on verbal promises. BEWARE!
Not only are furnished apartments comfortable and affordable, but staff is kind and engaging and I genuinely consider all staff here to be my friends.
Sign up for studio but due to construction is not completed on time, leasing office work with me, and pay 20 dollar compensation each day until studio is ready so I accept the offer and move in to 3 bedrooms. Personally, never been lived any floor plan beside studio/one bedroom but since each bedroom have own sink, and management fix thing timely manner when I submit work order so I don’t experience any trouble.
Worst management! Neighbor noise! Dog poop everywhere! The construction sounds is crazy! Signed for a studio but still living in 3Bedroom! The studio never delivered:( The rent is much higher than many of other apartment in Pullman! Don’t choose this apartment!
Except the three bedroom ones nothing is available immediately. Construction is going on but it is halted and no one knows when it will be ready. The owner is really unhelpful. So, be careful while applying.
This apartment complex is the worst. Their property is so run down and damaged. There is a mice problem and when it rain there are leaks from random places. The rent is too much for the condition this place is in. There also is an issue with the maintenance here. They never get work orders done no matter the problem. I lived at these apartments for two years and I never wanted to rip my hair out so bad before. Their laundry is even broken. Has been this whole year. I would not suggest picking up a lease here. Trust me. There are cheaper places that are in way better condition.
This place gets no work done and it is a pain as a resident because the place is in bad shape. The laundry room is always broken and you must take your laundry somewhere else. If you don't have a car like me, goodluck. This place also is increasing rent and it is not worth it. We also had mice twice due to the horrible condition of the place. They also allow pets which is why the whole apartment grounds is filled with poop. Trash apartments. Would not recommend!
