Property Ratings at College Inn
If you live at College Inn, I would encourage you to review your monthly bill carefully. My daughter's bill was incorrect more than once during the two years she lived at College Inn and I am not sure if it was due to pure incompetency or just outright slyness. In order to get an invoice corrected, you have to deal with rude staff members. Most recently, my daughter subleased her apartment. She was charged several hundred dollars to transfer the lease, in addition to the new leasee paying over $350 in fees as well - including an "application fee." In addition, my daughter paid the May rent, but her subleaser was invoiced for May's rent as well. Actually, the subleaser's invoice included incorrect charges totally $1500! Although my daughter's parking pass is paid thru the month of May, she was assessed a charge for not turning it in at move out. The staff told me the parking pass charge would be dropped when she turned in the pass - shouldn't a charge not be assessed until her paid time is up? The apartments are smelly.
Extremely dirty grounds. There are stains and grime and dirt in every part of the buildings outside of the apartment, the stairways are especially filthy. There are only two maintenance workers who try their best to fulfill dozens of work orders. My apartment has been falling apart since I moved in and I have had to submit over 7 work orders. The carpets and couches provided are extremely dirty and unkempt. Constant noise and construction at every hour of the day. Wifi often cuts off for hours a day, amenities are falling apart and aren't even worth the price, and the pool is often dirty. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!
DO NOT LIVE HERE. The office is run by college students who have no authority to do anything. If you do happen to catch the manager in the office, she will tell you what you want to hear and promise to get back to you...she won’t. There is a reason that they do not list a name or contact info on their website. The place is an unorganized mess with no one in charge. The apartments and the grounds are filthy. Do not be fooled by the pleasant tour of the model apartment. The place is an overpriced joke.
