My apartment is quiet and peaceful. The area is beautiful and perfect for dogs. The maintenance team is always very quick to respond and help fix any issues you might have. Overall a great place to live.

Spacious bright apartment, after a new renovation, in a wonderful quiet area, near a park and a river. Good owners and administration. Minor malfunctions were eliminated the same day we checked in. The whole territory is very clean. I recommend it!

Lived here for 2 years. Wonderful and beautiful apartments. Had everything one would need and were nice and updated. Having the buildings broken down into units of four was amazing -provided more privacy but still had that sense of living in a community with the other buildings nearby. Never had any issues with management and maintenance was always quick to fix any issues. Convenient location to shops, restaurants, and grocery stores but tucked away in a neighborhood setting so you didn't get that busy city feeling. I would live at Colonial Court again in a heartbeat!

Colonial Court has been a great place thus far for my family. It is a very welcoming environment. Our apartment is all updated and has a wonderful layout making it easy to keep clean and feel comfortable.

Maintenance came within same day to fix any issues in our new unit. The space is lovely and very homey. Excited to call this place home!

We have lived here for ~10 months and simply love living here. The location is in a quiet neighborhood with great neighbors. Management is very responsive, and all of our maintenance requests have been fulfilled in a timely manner.

So quite! Solid 40's concrete construction with spancrete floors and new double glazed windows. 8 minute walk to the Estabrook Beer Garden and dog park in one direction, 8 minutes to downtown Shorewood in the other. Local owner truly cares about this property. He is dedicated to making continuous improvements while keeping an amazing team on site for an incredibly high standard of routine maintenance. Not some mega REIT just looking to squeeze every penny they can out of it.

Been living here for 2 years in the studios. Mine is updated and I love the bathroom. It’s a very quiet and clean building. Even the landscaping always looks great. Maintenance requests can be done online & they are very fast and courteous. Neighbors are quiet as well. Most importantly, I’ve never had a package stolen here!! (Knock on wood) lol

I couldn't ask for a better area to live in! These apartments are beautifully updated and well-cared for. Property management made my move in very convenient and everyone here is very friendly.

I explored many apartments, when I came back to Milwaukee area, and chose this one as my #1 pick. This apartment is great! Clean, nice appliances, spacious living spaces, pet friendly, and an amazing location to live at. Not only are the apartments great, but the staff is awesome as well! Ericka has always addressed my apartment concerns as they popped up. Recently I came back from vacation, and I was so excited to be back I pulled so hard on my blinds that they snapped in half! Getting those replaced by maintenance was such a quick and easy experience. With such a wonderful staff and apartments, I am happy to have lived here!

I am a new resident and I love it here! Ericka, the office manager is very helpful and always responds so quickly! I recently had a maintenance request, which I was able to easily request online, and it was handled on the same day, by the time I got home. Super impressive and happy. Everyone is nice and the studio apartment is beautiful!

First of all: I'm an european guy recently moved in US. I do not like to write positive review just to be a nice person, because I'm not! Here is my truth: 1. The complex is very good for the money that I paid. Extremely clean, great maintenance. You don't need to check weathercast daily, because when outside is cold, doesn't matter if your furnace is on, you'll feel the cold from outside! 2. Easy to hear when other tenants snoring or take shower, but this is very common in US. 3. Ericka - the perfect property manager. Very professional, very patient. And a beautiful woman, too. Thank you for everything you do for us.

These apartments are clean and well managed by Erika who was phenomenal with making us feel welcomed and also helped us with managing rent during the 2020 pandemic. The apartments are super clean and maintenance was fast on helping us fix any issues we may have had in the unit.

The property manager and maintenance crew are incredible and made this feel like home from the very beginning. They were exceptionally attentive to answering my questions and meeting my needs with my specific unit, storage, laundry machines, etc. and continue to deliver on maintenance requests. We needed the replacement of a broken microwave oven. It was done professionally, in the shortest time and to my full satisfaction. I would like to recommend the property manager and the maintenance crew for their excellent customer service.

I love our apartment! When friends and family ask about our experience at Colonial Court Apartments I always rave about how clean the premises are kept, and how things get fixed as soon as we contact Ericka! We contact her all the time when we need something or any questions we may have, and she is so kind and quick at helping us out. The location is amazing. Specially if you have dogs. The doggy park is just a short walk from our building, and our vet is only a block away.

I have been a resident of this property since 2006. For a number of years, maintenance was non-existent. Today, with new ownership, the apartments are being updated, maintenance is taken care of as quickly as possible, staff is great, and I have wonderful neighbors!

I haven't even moved into Colonial Court yet and I'm already excited! The apartments and grounds are given the utmost care and Melissa, Alex and Dominique in the office are outstanding!

These units are nicely updated with fixtures and finishes. They have a lot of great light and a spacious floor plan. The stainless steel appliances are a nice upgrade, along with the updated cabinets and tile floors. The grounds are beautiful and always tended to. The maintenance team has responded to all our maintenance requests, and most of the time the same day. This is a nice change from our last place. We also like that the management is onsite and easy to get a hold of. They make sure our requests and concerns( which are not many) are handled. These units are nice and updated. Large 2 bedroom units with updated finishes and stainless appliances. The grounds are well kept, and are always maintained. Any work orders have been done the same day which is much quicker than the other places we have lived at. We love that the management is onsite and easy to get a hold of if we need something. They are always prompt in making sure our requests are handled. We hope to stay at Colonial Court for a very long time. If you are looking to live in Shorewood, this place is perfect!

My fiance and I rented a 2 bedroom ground floor unit for one year. We were impressed by the sizes of the bedrooms and closets. The bathroom and kitchen were nicely updated. The kitchen included new, full size stainless steel appliances. The underground parking was great, though the garage doors would get stuck open at least once a month. There's not drainage in the garage so big puddles would form after rain. We knew we were only going to stay for a year. Even if we were open to staying longer, we may not have signed another lease because of management. We experienced very poor communication from the office staff. They were late to give us our keys when we moved in and were late again to complete our move-out walk through. On at least 2 occasions, water/ power were shut off to the building for maintenance work and we were not warned ahead of time. The garage was re-keyed and we were given no warning. Several of my direct emails to management went entirely unanswered. The on-site maintenance staff were GREAT! Always helpful and responsive. The quality of the apartment was nice but the office staff need to improve their responsiveness to tenants.

Living in an apartment complex for the first time in many years, I was not sure what to expect. There have been a few things that have happened, water heater went out, washing machine on the fritz. When those and other minor situations happened, Melissa and Alex have been wonderful! They listen, they hear, and they take action. The grounds are very well maintained, snow removal taken care of in a timely manner. Maricela and Chuy are everywhere constantly making the complex shine. It is a pleasure to be here, and a comfort knowing the fantastic crew at Colonial Court!

I have been a tenant here for nearly 12 years and I absolutely love it! Melissa, the Property Manager is such a sweet and accommodating person. Excellent customer service skills! She goes above and beyond to make sure that all of the tenants are 100% satisfied. The Maintenance crew is also amazing. Their turn around time for repairing things are instant!
