Property Ratings at Colonial Crossing Apartments
LOVE living here! The apartments are so nice and quiet and NEW! The office staff are wonderful and prompt to respond. I also lucked out with great neighbors! Two thumbs up Colonial Crossing!
From the moment we moved in (2 years ago) our experience has been awesome. Maintenance is prompt and the staff is always friendly and willing to help. The grounds are well maintained. They have built a new phase that will be brand new and just as beautiful and well kept.
Love living here. The staff is always helpful. Especially love the gym and pool.
Management will give you a hard time. You can find better elsewhere.
I wish I had looked into this property more before moving in. We are very unhappy with this community. One, this is NOT luxury living! I think they are in a identity crisis because many people are unhappy here and looking to get out the leases. There are other places to invest your money in that are way better than this. Sadly, they have major issues. Bugs are a major issues, poor quality of paint chipping, windows are not installed correctly, damage on appliances, moved in and it was dirty and there are no quality amenities. Internet does not work most the time. You can hear mostly anything because the installation is so thin. The grounds are always FULL of dog poo and very dirty. There are no yield signs so people nearly crash into each other because the flow of the property is poorly thought about. There is only one way to exit the complex for the entire community to get onto 35 quickly. The main entrance only allows you to go into Belton. If you want to get onto 35 quick or go towards Temple or Killeen, you have to go out ONE way. There has been no newsletter informing residents of construction projects/status or any thanks for the community to be patient! Today they send out an email and it was about packages and there was no Happy Holiday or sincere thanks for anything! You would think that service would be a high priory in this community because we have paid full price and we have received NO amenities. This is not "home"! I would not recommend this place to anyone and if you stop and talk to residents, they would tell you the SAME thing.
I have lived here for over 5 months and am disappointed with this community. The office always promises but never delivers. I have had numerous quality issues as well as a massive bug problems. The quality of these units is terrible. It's evident as you walk in the door. My wife and I never would have moved here knowing what we know now. Unfortunately we moved sight unseen. Big mistake! For a brand new apartment community I have never seen so much disorganization in my life not to mention the heavily littered grounds from the lazy construction crews. There are much better places. Very disappointed!
