This place is awful. How the heck! Did anyone could give it five stars. The apartment HVAC system is gross. Kitchen was falling apart. Bugs Galore, Big ones. And they will rip you off when you move. DO NOT RENT THERE!! I warned you. there's to much to list.

I hate that there is never any parking and “parking isn’t guaranteed “ they will tow your car if you park where you’re not suppose to park forcing you to pay for a parking spot every month they have more paid parking spots than regular parking spots. I’ve been in my 3 bed apt for 2 years begging them to update it they have even agreed to do so if I renew my lease last year and still didn’t make any changes. My dishwasher has never been able to use. On top of that they’re raising the rent to make me move. Poor management poor everything DO NOT LIVE HERE !!!!

Very nice
relatively quiet neighborhood, great apartments, great location
The new (I think...) management staffs are very friendly and patient in explaining things and addressing my concerns. The maintenance team is also very friendly and professional. Overall, my experience living here is great and positive.
It's been fine. The staff are very amenable, and service is quick.
Quiet atmosphere, clean exterior, fast response to maintenance requests.
Everything has been very good my neighbors the staff experience has been good. My only issues that I have are the garbage that never seems to be working properly and no security or cameras around the pool and weight room where there?s been a lot of young people destroying property
Overall a positive experience. It is not built with quality sound proofing, as I can hear clearly the resident above me walking around. The outside walls are poorly insulated as my closet is extremely cold being on an outside wall. The windows are old and definitely not the highest quality. I can feel the cold air from outside.
The landscaping and buildings are always well maintained.
I moved in this apartment on the 29th August, 2018. The room are clean, but I think some equipment are old, such as the shutter, toilet, the base of the tap. Some of the slats of the shutter are broke on its own because of aging.Rubber water shields between the tap base and desk are melt for a long time because of ageing too. There are some tiny cracks between the base of tap and the desk, So water will leak slowly to the cabinet below it through the tiny cracks. I think some rubber water strip should be set again, which is good for the property. The Fridge is also old, the strip around the door has been changed this month, But I am not sure it is very well, sometimes the door is hard to open
Lovely 2 BR apartment with great floor plan, large walk in closets, and garage designed well. Property is manicured and looks inviting. Office staff and Maintenance staff provide excellent service. Convenient neighborhood near shopping and schools. Have lived here for 15 years in 3 different apartments. It offers everything I need as I downsize or go larger. An excellent living experience.

Mostly positive but extremely loud neighbors
I have lived here at Beverly Crest for about 4 yrs and I can honestly say that I like living here. I love the area. I have noticed that several residents are over 55. It would be nice if they offered for residents over 62. I may have to move in a couple of years because of the cost of rent. I also wish there were wooden floors instead of carpet and alarm systems. Other than that I am good.
I am extremely happy living at colonial grand apartments at beverly crest. Maintance department is awesome, grounds are kept clean and updated and the office department helps you whenever you need it. Cant be happier
I have been pleased living here . The management here are very polite and prompt to any handle any request. it is close to grocery and other retail stores. I am 85 and want to stay independent and this arangement is perfect for me. I am situated in a second floor apartment, have an individual parking spot and polite neighbors and live alone. Perfect for me !
Apartment complex is very beautiful in a nice quiet neighborhood. My biggest complaint is that the building need better insulation for noise control. You can hear EVERYTHING your neighbors are doing.
When I moved into my apartment here, I was worried that everything I had seen in the tour of the apartment complex had just been one of those traps to get you to buy into the place, sort of like a cartoon. Boy was I wrong! This place is awesome! The people who live here and work here are really nice people. The rent is extremely reasonable for the Charlotte area. The amenities are excellent! The actual apartments are nicely sized. The pool is a great area to meet new people. The staff are always willing to help. Finally, the arboretum is literally a walk down the street. The ONLY downside is the age of the complex. It is about 20 years old. The appliances aren't top of the line, but they still work perfectly fine. My apartment features a TON of storage and a very large walk in closet. You may not find the brand new apartment feel like you would moving to South End, but you will be looking at a much better "bang for your buck" down at good ole' Beverly Crest!
First off, the location is unreal. The arboretum is less than a mile down the road, with a Walmart, Harris Teeter, and numerous great restaurants!!! only 10 minutes from down town Charlotte. The rent is reasonable and apartments are comfortably sized. the pool is well maintained but attracts people from outside the community witch is frustrating. The residents seem to be fairly uptight and stiff. im not much of a party person myself but i do hear a lot of people complaining about everyone else. over all, its a good place but i don't see myself living out multiple lease terms here.
This apartment complex is right across from the The Aboretum shopping center with dozens of stores and places to eat. It is also less than 15 minutes from uptown Charlotte. They just re did the pool area and fitness center. Overall a great place to live!
The Colonial Grand @ Beverly Crest apartments are a great place to live. The layouts are good and the balconies are nice and big. The few times we have needed help from maintenance they have fixed the issue correctly, albeit a little slow sometimes. The price for the area we live in is great and the neighborhood is nice enough for families, singles, and retirees. The pool is nice but only 4 ft. deep and the gym has plenty of equipment too. There is only 1 dumpster for the entire complex which can be a hassle depending on which side of the complex you live on. Overall, the place is great but not perfect.
Nice buildings, safe neighborhood, great restaurants and outdoor space. It has a nice courtyard with a pool, lounging area with commodities. The only problem i had was hidden fees on monthly lease statements (after signed lease) and unassigned parking.
