Property Ratings at Colonial Village
I’ve driven hours away to drop off my application and admin fee, set an appointment time, then the PM just went Mia. No answer, and you can’t apply online either. How it starts is how it end. No thanks
We moved here in August of 2019, and the process was very smooth. Once we moved in we notice NO address numbers on the building however our unit was very nice. Our tenants are quiet and asking maintenance to repair stuff is quick and ??. One small issues NO LIGHTING outside the building on E Livingston.
Roaches crackheads and drug dealers !!! Oh and mice ! They don’t care will give you a unit with roaches and promise to treat it
This place is terrible. On July 21, 2019, 2 people were shot over some kids arguing and I've seen someone car gets hit and the other person ran off. someone has gotten maced over here and people in here are theifs. I've watched two people steal from Family Dollar and run to the complexes. also, some kids used the fire hydrant as a slip & slide. i do not recommend to live here especially with kids.
This is the worst place in Columbus. It's nothing but a haven for drug dealers and crack addicts. My fiance and me lost everything because of the drug infestation. We had to move away because of it.
I found Colonial Village through this site and set up an appointment with the rental office through the site. We needed to move ASAP. We came in and filled the application. The ladies were very nice and professional. We were approved like 48 hours later. It took way longer than planned to actually sign a lease and get keys because of staffing issues, no maintenance guys to get units ready. Other than the stress of waiting (we had to be out of the old place like yesterday!)dealing with this neighborhood has been great. I recommend it for the price and location. My apartment is great. Only thing not working is the disposal and it's not a big deal to wait for that to be fixed. So glad to be done moving!
First let's start by they did a switch a woo on me and my apartment. I got showed and told I could chose my apartment chose it only to be told that was not the apartment I picked. Then had so many things wrong with it within the first week, sewer Backed up into my sink in the kitchen and washing machine... now I only got a $200 credit but later on I found out my brand new furnace had No electricity going to it. I never got a parking permit and woke up to my car gone.... after I asked when I moved in what's up with parking permit? They told me I would get one soon as they got more... never did I get a warning or anything... just woke up and my car was towed... then when I confronted the leasing manager (Sylvia) she told me that in the beginning of September they put notices on doors... I'm a stay at home Mom I never seen anything on anyone's doors until later that day... yup after I talk to them magically they put notices on everyone's door saying they had done it the month before and this was a final notice.... now the area it's self is cool no gangs drugs or Violence but the rental office is very shady so I would go in with a recorder or witness so you go back up because they lie to cover their own butts and for single mothers and hard working tenants who don't have an extra $200 to get their vehicle out of impound the same day it's not cool... some people have to wait til paid which means they rack up a bill with the tow lot.... and most people don't have $200,$400,$600 to get a car out and pay rent... I'm stuck for now but as soon as I can I'm moving nothing nice about colonial village except the new remodeling but even that had to be fix again and again because they half assed it!! BUYER BEWARE!!!
