Once home to the Wright brothers, Dayton lives up to its reputation with notable landmarks like the Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park, National Museum of the U.S. Air Force, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, and Hawthorn Hill—the Wright family mansion.
In addition to a rich history in aviation, Dayton touts an extensive array of recreational opportunities. Property Ratings at Colonial Village
The office people are nice but the maintenance man doesnt really fix anything like. I moved in shower head wasnt even in the wall the hole in my living room the toilet was already broke I wasnt even able to turn the heat on in my room because it would smell like somthing was burning .. then the mice and the not replacing the old blinds with a whol new one instead of them placing tap to try and hold them up
we Lived there over 3 years and this place takes care of the people and it Property, also you see the Maintenance works ever day helping keep it clean and when one need work done to the apartment its done in a nice timely manner. In my opinion their communication is great from all Employees, if we wasn't moving back to Oregon we would stay there also the maintenance manger does his share of work and more, plus you see him patrolling the facility to keep it clean and for safety. GREAT JOB People who work there
When I moved in they told me that the carpet was brand new and when I got there it’s had red wine stains everywhere. The sink was leaking every time you used it and it still does because they don’t know how to fix anything. I am so happy to leave this place. I would not recommend every living here.
I read reviews before about poor management and maintenance but I have NEVER experienced what I have here. it's cheap, but for good reason. the manager doesnt care at all about his tenants and I was informed by my neighbor that the crew will enter your apt with leisure if you dont answer your door when they come knocking. I had an issue with one of the crew weedeating my plants and i confronted him, with the owner standing right by him, the owner just walked away and the guy said he didnt see my sign written up? I come outside to put my laundry in the car and found a huge spit glob on my driver side door. I dont know anyone in this apt besides my neighbors who I am friendly with and have no enemy's who would chuck one on my car. spend the extra $50 and go anywhere else but here.
They have absolutely wonderful staff! They make sure everything is perfectly clean before you move in! It is a very good price for everything that is included! The location is not bad at all! There is a Kroger right down the road! I would 100% reccommend these apartments to anyone and everyone!
I have lived at Colonial Village for a little over a year and they are nice, well maintained apartments. The rent is very reasonable, its a great location, and management and maintenance do a great job of taking care of any issues quickly. The buildings are a little older, but is still a nice place to call home.
i had went here and this was my first aparment and they didnt show me a model and took my money and had me wait a whole week just to move im but they promised brand new everything so i brushed off them not showing me the model but when i went into my new home there was carpet that wasn't attached to anything, tac boards sticking out of the floor, cracked tub etc. so i went and got my money back and if i was you i would try everywhere else before coming here
I visited this property and toured the apartments they had a available. I took a 1 br ground floor apartment. I have been here less than two months, and have done nothing but fight bugs off. I also have had issues with both appliances the property provided. First, the stove went bonkers, they fixed that but the unit gets really hot when using it still, so I am not sure if it is fixed or not really...now it is the fridge. In less than two months of living here the fridge apparently iced over, I have now been since Thursday with no fridge, currently waiting for it to thaw, but had to throw out all of the groceries and the management team went to enjoy the holiday weekend and just left me here with no fridge to figure it out on my own. All I want to say is this place is not the place that was represented to me when I moved here, so be cautious...
