I just moved to this community less than a week ago and placed my bike in the rack right outside of my apartment and it got stolen. Very disappointed and concerned, as it is advertised as a gated, friendly and safe community.

My son and I resided here from spring 2021-December 2022. Since summer of 2021 until recently we had a continuous mold and mildew issues. I was told I had to pay (and did) for a certified company to come test for mold (of which Colonnade at the Eastern Shore, come to find out, had their own contracted mold company and never offered to provide them). The test showed mold counts off the charts. I have well documented proof of everything. The issue continued and was masked by chemical spray and “duct work”. This is definitely a health hazard. When requested ending lease, we were hit with a $2000 term buy out, loss of security deposit, pay for fees/amenities that weren’t even used the month of January because we moved. We had to toss furniture and linens because of the smell and had to replace almost everything, to top the issues of how this property and management ROYALLY SCREWED ME AND MY FAMILY . This company, its management and maintenance are by far the worst rental property I have ever encountered. Beware moving here .

If you don't live on the third floor, you're not going to enjoy staying here. I'm a relatively longtime resident and I have had a couple different upstairs neighbors. From my experience, it doesn't matter if the person above you is a heavy walker or a light, nimble butterfly....you will hear every single footstep they take. CONSTANTLY. You will also hear everything that ever comes in contact with their floors. Shoes being kicked off, things falling, vacuums, you name it. If it makes a sound and touches the floor, you will either hear it or feel it shaking your apartment. Paper thin walls are also a thing here, as most apartment complexes, but paper thin floors is a new thing for me.... If you enjoy your sanity, if you enjoy quiet places, this is not the place for you. This is a not a biased view after after a bad experience, this is a genuine review and one that is purely intended for advice. There's nothing that can done about this, there is no solution to this problem, this is just one of things you have to be aware of and decide if you want to live with them or without them.

I was a guest at the pool with a good friend of mine and was strongly suggesting getting a place here because it looked really nice and friendly.... but don’t let the looks fool you. While at the pool one Saturday we were rudely interrupted by the very unprofessional staff members about having drinks too close to the pool(not in it). They approach us being rude and yelling at us and kept harassing us. They are very rude and obnoxious people. I would rather pay double the price somewhere else than deal with them everyday..

We love the Colonnade! They are newly built apartments with a modern feel. Office staff is very nice and helpful. We are also new to the area and have loved it! Tons of restaurants and shops - Fairhope is 5 minutes away! We would recommend this place to anyone!
Worst place to rent from ever! Do not let looks fool you. Our rent was stolen from the rent dropbox, we were never notified, had to find out on our own midway through the month and were told it was not their problem it was our responsibility. The office staff is incredibly rude and unprofessional. Roaches, spiders, and EXCESSIVE amounts of mold everywhere. Overly priced apartment homes with poor office staff.
