Property Ratings at Colores Del Sol
My husband and I recently went to obtain information for available apartments. The staff were extremely unfriendly and seemed as they did not want to work. They kept telling each other for the other one to welcome us. One of the girls ended up telling us to look online for availability and dismissed us. We were there for no more than 5 minutes. We will definitely not rent here regardless of how nice the apartment could be. The staff is obviously careless and we don’t want to deal with unwelcoming management since day 1, yet alone for months.
Front office lady constantly lies about when maintenance issues are getting fixed. I think since I started living here I’ve been told “tomorrow” dozens of times with no real intention of getting anything done. I’ve even gotten noise complaints for playing music with a speaker the size of my fist in the pool area by front office staff . In case of an emergency at night, good luck getting anyone to come to help you. Best call 911 or the fire department. Places are decent but current staff is insufferable.
Overpriced, extremely cheaply made! They put fixing material on top of everything instead of replacing it. There are floods and sinks leak, maintenance is horrible! They take forever to fix things and they do a poor job Management is incompetent and rude, very unprofessional, apartments are old and the police is always in there. Keep looking!!!!
They literally are the worst. Since I moved in, my bathroom sink and toilet overflowed on a Sunday, put in an emergency work order since the number they have for emergency work orders is to the office, and it took them 3 days to respond. I asked what's the reason behind having an emergency maintenance number if they dont answer and the manager said she's working on it. About a week later my second bathroom overflowed and flooded my apartment. Took them about 3 days as well to respond. Another few weeks went by, my sink overflowed again and this time, it took them like 2 weeks to get it fixed. Granted the carpet in my room was soaking wet, I had to buy a heater to try and get it to dry. Everything breaks apart in these apartments so DO NOT even think about looking to lease here. They super quick to charge late fees on your rent but complete fails to fix anything.
Office staff and maintenance here have a complete disregard for their residents and pretty much just collect their paychecks from here while doing minimal work possible. Be prepared to hav to put in multiple work orders a month every single month then waiting 1-2 weeks for the office staff to get around to fixing the issue no matter the urgency. When calling the emergency phone number I’ve been hung up on by the maintenance staff saying they’re not going to help with my issue. Please save yourself your time and money and live somewhere else.
Location is close to everything I need so that's a plus. The staff is tremendously friendly and helpful. Any issues I have are usually resolved within 24 hours and it's very easy to get ahold of someone. I hate carpet flooring so they installed wood flooring immediately. Neighbors are respectful and are comfortable to be outside unlike most apartments lol. The home was clean when we moved in and you can tell they did cosmetic touch ups. So far, the only bad thing is that the appliances are a little older. Overall, it's great for the price and totally worth it.
The apartment manager, Vero, is very sweet. She's very trustworthy, committed, professional & always there for her residents. Every time I go to the office she makes me feel welcomed & comfortable. She's there for her residents during emergencies & always seems to put us first before her needs. Thank you for your wonderful management, Vero. You're the reason we continue to stay here at colores Del sol. (:
