I went in for a tour, leasing staff member wasn’t very friendly. Nice property from what I did see but I didn’t feel very welcomed and I felt the tour was rushed. Only got to see the apartment itself and still have tons of questions left a bad taste in my mouth and don’t know if I’ll consider or recommend this apartment to anyone, Kinda disappointed.

Overall -10 , only thing they’re good for is laying your head and using the bathroom barely that . Trash company sucks as well . Windows flood every time it storms . Rent is always raising .

Moved in 2020 in the misted of new management( which they switch every 6 months ) Got my welcome letter and deposit amount . Then I was told their online payment system was done and to come in with money order(cash) the next day the lady who took my money order didn’t submit my deposit and all my information on the apartment I paid for was lost . But I still received my key and moved in .???? . Now 2 years later they say they don’t have any paperwork and payments on me and my deposit can be returned. …. And THEY DO NOT GIVE REFERAL FEES at all that was a lie .
Mold in bathrooms, Rent goes up, poor communication with everywhere in office .. I don’t even know where to start
I recommend this community, My apartment is beautiful the ground’s are well kept. My leasing agent Casey went above and beyond to make sure my move-in went smooth.
I'll give it to you straight, don't rent here for anything. When I moved out, I was told by 2 staff members that I didn't owe anything. I was later contacted saying I owed money, when I asked why I was told I hadn't done some paperwork. Showed them a copy, they promised to fix it, but they never did, and now they are trying to bill me again for their mistake.
I moved here mid year 2021 and can’t wait till my lease is up… roach problems BIG TIME, outrages fees
Where should I start? Our unit was not cleaned upon move in. My sister and I cleaned the apartment before we could move our things in. Parking is a serious issue here. I paid the extra $100 for a dirty garage space that I also had to clean. Drug use by tenants coming through the air vents daily. Large roaches in your apartment when you are charged a monthly pest control fee. One day someone pulled the fire alarm around midnight and we had to listen to the blaring noise for nearly an hour before the fire department showed up. Last but not least, they have the audacity to send me a bill for over $3000 for breaking my lease. Please don't move here. There are better options available in area..
If you like over paying for poor amenities, poor security, vandalism and just shady stuff going on ….this is the place for you ! Paint being thrown on cars , your belongings being tossed off you deck , a rat in the pool . The fitness center has been closed for over a year , parking is horrible unless you rent a spot . Beware of added fees . Enjoy the giant hole in the back fence where people are constantly parking in the complex and walking thru to the next neighborhood . Surprise inspections to make sure your following the rules ….you have no privacy here ! Don’t even get me started on the gates here .
I’ve been living here since 2013 and haven’t had any major issues. I’ve seen staff change three times during my stay. Tony was the office manager with the first staff and I loved her. She was responsive and no nonsense. She didn’t put up with nunsience behavior and had no problem getting rid of problem tenants. The second staff was horrible and nice nasty. The present staff appears to be responsive to communication. My only complaint is the limited parking space. Although they have issued out parking passes it hasn’t eliminated the lack of parking available for tenants or their guest. I’ve noticed several cars in my building who always park in either the handicap park or fire zone without consequences. I recently got some very noisy tenants up above me and although I made several complaints they haven’t stopped. If they don’t move out or stop the noise I probably won’t renew my lease. I pay too much money not to be able to enjoy a peaceful nights sleep. They also play loud music and have cigarette butts in the breezeway. Something I’ve never had to deal with since I’ve been here. Outside of that, the community is great, the kids are low key and the rest of my neighbors in the building are respectfull and courteous. If you have children and considering moving into a apartment complex, please be midf of your neighbors and select a unit on the bottom floor. Children love to play and it’s understandable but it’s annoying and disturbing to those great live under you.
Lived here for 4 years and am only really moving because of a job transfer out of state. The main issue I have here is parking. If you leave your apartment at night to go on a quick store run, you will be lucky if you find a spot anywhere near where you live when you come back. People park against the curbs everywhere and at times blocking areas completely. They send out letters once a month with their warnings of towing cars but nothing ever gets done. There just is not enough parking spots for everyone, and some people treat the curb as their personal parking spots. Very frustrating. Never had any issues with the office or maintenance, and the area of the complex I was in was fairly quiet, but the parking thing is a serious concern to think about before moving here.
Office staff have lack of communication. Walls are very thin, parking is horrible, and if you have children move somewhere else because you will get complaints for just walking in your apartment and the office has not not been any help at all since they took over. Somebody warned me and I didn't listen now I regret moving here.
The office staff is untrained and unreliable. The fees are ridiculous- many hidden fees. Had a huge discrepancy with a monthly lease payment with an account that was supposedly closed and paid in full but then their story changed- all because of inexperienced, untrained front office didn't know what they are doing. The place is disgusting with bugs inside. Had an exterminator six weeks in a row to spray the apartment and still had an issue. Apparently I was not alone- neighbors complained of the same situation!!
Since the take over by Colton creek about three weeks ago the laundry room has been inoperable. Each week I'm told will be fixed and never is. Now their website for paying rent isn't working. I haven't seen the men who clean the grounds here and there is trash on the lawn like empty plastic water bottles and candy wrappers. I was scheduled for bug spraying two weeks ago and two fridays have gone with no one coming out. No regular maintenance is done on Saturday so if you have an issue besides air or heat you have to wait til Monday. Trees of Avalon apartments worked smoothly and efficiently. Nothing has gone right since Colton Creek bought out.
I loved it here for almost the entire first year I was here... but with new management, the complex has gone downhill- fast. People smoking weed and drinking in the breezeways, cars being vandalized, and I actually found vomit all over the floors, walls, and stairs in my building this morning. I'm so disappointed. Unfortunately, I just renewed my lease, but I will not be resigning next year.
Great Apartments!! Spacious apartment living, very friendly and helpful management! Reccommend these apartments to anyone!!
I have been a resident for almost two years and so far it has been great. Every time I have any maintenance issue, it will get solve within 24 hours. It is a family friendly community. They are very strict when it comes down to safety rules, so be aware that if you break the rules you will get evicted or deny renewal
My apartment is one of the most gorgeous apartments I've lived in since moving around in my 20's. This place has been the most gorgeous and most gratifying. It's a bit pricy , but I love it here. The people are wonderful and so is the complex. It's always kept sparkling clean and maintained with a different variety of bushes and flowers! I don't plan on moving for the next couple of years!
