Named after the historic Mission Dolores built in 1776, the Mission District is San Francisco’s oldest neighborhood. The Mission is vibrant, eclectic, and growing—well-known for its colorful murals, upscale restaurants, old-school taquerias, low-key dive bars, and craft cocktail lounges.
The Mission is home to the 16-acre Mission Dolores Park, a popular spot for enjoying the outdoors, picnicking, and taking in sweeping skyline views. A walkable design along with access to BART and Muni makes getting around from the Mission District a breeze.

Property Ratings at City Gardens
The building is relatively new and looks nice, but management is very unresponsive. Also after a very rainy week, my entire unit began leaking water from underneath the floorboards and there were bubbles of water behind the paint on the walls. I called the emergency maintenance line and never heard back the entire day (Sunday). The next morning I told the person working the front desk and they told me this was “much more common than you’d think” and they did not take my issues seriously at all until I was very insistent. I’ve only been here for a couple months and I’ve already had multiple communication issues and now this. Not to mention the fire alarm goes off randomly at least once a month if not more. I wouldn’t recommend living here
New and clean building with good internet and a very nice roof deck.
