IV been here going on 5 years. Not because we WANT to buy because prices and I come prevents us from leaving.. the prices seem to go up while quality goes down. Our storage unit gets broken into, cars get broken Into as well as stuff off our porch stolen including my kids bikes, they don't use cameras except at the garbage unit they now say you can't have grills starting July so for those of us who have one we just are expected to get rid of it. Management is constantly changing because the turn over rate is high. The pet area is a joke lol and there are no grills on property that I have ever seen. Half the time the pool is closed for maintenance and rarely opens in time. The patio furniture they have is all broken and worn. Save yourself the headache see if you can find somewhere else. They only care when the investors and corporate come to look at the property.
Would not recommend. Had a bad experience while moving out. They put ridiculous final charges, for their poor quality interior, especially granite top which cracks on its own. What kind of granite is that? 100s of cockroaches come out of the wood works in the kitchen, for which they recommend to not to keep any raw food like rice, floor etc. in the kitchen. How ridiculous?

Hello Abhijeet, we appreciate the review which provides us with information on how to better approach sensitive topics such as move out charges. While our counter tops are quartz, which is a man-made innovation, they do not just crack on their own. We only hold residents responsible for the cost to turn the apartment back into the same condition when we handed over the keys to you. Lease agreements state that the condition of the apartment must be returned back to the landlord in the same condition or the resident shall be held responsible for specific negligent charges. Commons at Dawson Creek has a pest control service twice a month not because we need it, rather it's a service provided for the residents to which wasn't address to us while you resided here. I think the term is, "ignorantia legis neminem excusat". We appreciated your residency with us and we know you enjoyed the location of your apartment. We recommend residents to always ask (in this case, what services are provided which are stated in the lease)....it never hurts. Best regards, Commons at Dawson Creek Staff
We just moved out of the Commons at Dawson Creek. We were in building 10. We had a good time there and everyone was nice. The prices seemed a little high for what you got. The main issue we had was there was bedbugs when we moved in. The office tried to make us pay for the treatments too, but we refused and threatened to sue, and they paid for the treatment. The treatment involved extreme heat over a couple days, and it warped the flooring. The office said no problem when we pointed it out, but when we moved out, they charged us $2000 for replacing the flooring. Be sure to ask if they checked for bedbugs, and always get "no problem" in writing.
This apartment is great and convenient for people working in Intel offices that are just a stone throw away from the property. It has a peaceful atmosphere with spacious inroads. Other amenities include swimming pool, sauna and spa with a mini gym. Maintenance is good and the staff is helpful. The construction of the apartments is just above average.

Thank you for the review. Aside from being close to Intel, we are conveniently located near Orenco Station and downtown Hillsboro. Access to highway 26 is convenient. The buildings are sprawled out throughout the property allowing for greenbelts with great landscape and walking paths. Residents enjoy soaking in the spa until 11:00pm or relaxing in our clubhouse with WiFi. All apartments were completely remodeled in 2016. Stop by our leasing office 7 days a week for more info! We like the apartment. The space is enough for a small family. The house appliances were new and good. The apartment is close to shopping complxes. It is also close to Max station. The staff at the office are friendly. The attend to our maint. requests as soon as possible. The apartment complex have neatly kept lawns. Moreover it is a peaceful place.
I've been here for 13 years and love it. There are lots of tress and the common areas are well maintained. There is a little overflow pond out my back and so I see lots of birds. The office staff is very helpful and nice. They have been doing some remodeling which looks wonderful. The pool is a perfect size and the party room very handsome. The exercise room is perfect. It's in a perfect spot for me getting to work and caring for my horse!

We just moved in 2 weeks ago. So far so good, management is very helpful and maintenance is good. Location of the apartment is also very good. All in all, we like it here so far.
We stubbled across these apartments just before the new year. Having to move very quickly, these apartments were willing to work with us and got us in ASAP. We came in with a lot of issues that most other high end apartments would have laughed at us and told us to go else where. The only real issue we have had is the bathroom fan in the master bedroom kept going out on us and this last time, it took almost a month from them to finally come look at it and another two weeks to get the part in to fix it. Other than that, they have been awesome and are super nice. We are also located close to Hawethorn Farms Max station, The Streets, Costco, and many other fabulous shopping and eating choices. Would highly recommend renting from them if you are looking.
