Property Ratings at Commons At Waters Edge
This property is infested with roaches!!!! Trashy property I long moved here because it was the 1st spot available I plan on moving as soon as I find something better. No one deserves to live in these conditions.
As simple as it gets, they don’t come to exterminate the apartments, they lie to you about coming out to fix everything that you put in as maintenance request. The Roof leaks, the pictures on the tour are different than the apartment you’ll walk into. I didn’t have bedroom doors for the first 3 weeks of living here, im on month 3 and the ceiling in my second bedroom is moldy and peeling.
I only lived here for no longer than 6 months and I just had my baby the whole unit was infested with roaches; it was so bad my boyfriend had to keep calling off work for the extermination appointments to the point he lost his job. We were so desperate to leave anyway so we moved right away.
This place is overpriced, disgusting and terrible management. Me and my family have been living here for 7 years bc they charge you $1000 to move out. Near the stairs is a large pile of trash that reeks. I can’t tell you how many times we asked them to come exterminate. My window in my room has a bullet hole from a full year ago and no one has reached out to come and fix it. Every step you take you see trash and dog poop. The pictures of the apartments are only for some not all and the flooring is fake wood. The marble on the counters are fake also. This place is just terrible.
I relocated from another city and was fed so many lies from the office staff. My friend was shown a completely different apartment than the one that was leased to me. The same day I moved my belongings there was the same day I turned in a 60-Day Notice to move! It is complete trash, literally and figuratively! The place looks nothing like the photos online! I don’t even feel safe going to the apartment that is being leased to me. I always take a friend with me and go during daylight! There is no way that people are even remotely giving this place higher than a 1 star and honestly I would give it a 0 if I could! PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE! Save yourself, your family, your money, and your peace!
I highly DONT RECOMMEND this place, my year lease just ended and im super excited to get away from this place!! Roaches that they failed to mention before i moved in, charging fees for pest control, fights and shooting ever other day, to trash being left all over the complex im to ashamed to have my friends over smh dont let the cost fool you! Dont move here keep looking
Completely invested with roaches and mice, moved in and within a month the ceiling in the bathroom was molding, the floor was sunk in, you couldn’t step on it. The dishwasher had mold and leaked all over the floor when used. They put out an eviction for a late fee and told us the amount we had to pay to stop the eviction, it was the late fee plus next months rent, we paid it and they told us multiple times we were fine just couldn’t be late anymore, they didn’t stop the eviction and they destroyed our stuff and won’t give us our money back even tho we paid for the month they kicked us out at the beginning of.
I stay here currently we haven’t had air SINCE WE MOVED IN HERE WE MOVED HERE NOV 2018 and it’s SEPTEMBER 2019 WORST EXPERIENCE EVER ITS ROACH INFESTED , NO AIR , BROKEN WINDOWS . They take a long time FIXING ANYTHING ! DONT NOT MOVE HERE ITS NOT WORTH IT .
The new Management company has already improved the property a lot in less than 1 month. We have lived here for years and this is the best it has looked!
This place actually sucks I was just a visitor and I was truly appalled at the condition of the apartment that they moved my people into broken window roaches rats they moved them into a unsafe and unsanitary apartment I wouldn't recommend anyone move here it's trifling the residents need to get together and file a claim against the owners and the management
Please don't move here, unless you enjoy having bugs crawl around and mice just invading your space!!!! This place is awful. Its by far the worst place I've ever lived!!! The manager is two faced and only pretends to care when you're in the office. The minute you leave, she doesn't think about it again. You have to call multiple times to get them to do anything, period. Just Don't do it
Honest truth do not rent here unless u have too or have no other option the apartments do not look like this in person and their buildings are infested with roaches and rats this place is a living nightmare and even worse if you have kids stay away!
Donna is there most friendly person who has very good patience with me through email back and forth, she's awesome I'm approved for the apt, so excited to move in within two weeks, she's amazing, if you ever want to move here, ask for Donna. She has beautiful personality who warmed your heart and welcomed to help you. She's the best of all
DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT MOVE HERE. BIG ROACH PROBLEM. I MOVED IN ON 7/27/16 AROUND 1AM AND MOVED RIGHT BACK OUT AT 3AM. ROACHES WERE COMING OUT OF THE VENTS , FROM UNDERNEATH CABINETS AND UNDERNEATH THE FLOOR.
I moved hear 2015 and you get what you pay for it is cheap. I asked for less quite area and I get indecent neighbors the apartment is ok they need to control the pest and ..... theres also drug infested....... need to be more careful what i choose....
I was warned by other tenants when moved in. Took a year but they came out I have asked them for help a month ago and still nothing and some of my neighbors would not accept the treatments so how is that fair to the other tenants.
Even though it says under new management it's not same owners as always only changed the name because the reviews on the old place were so bad and moved office workers from another complex to make it look like it was under "new management" this place is owned by a large firm in New Jersey that doesn't care about the tenants and is only making improvements because they have been fined and are under watch by the housing authority maintenance does the best they can with what they have to work with but the bigwigs in Jersey limit them on everything to save a buck only move here if you like it dirty and nasty
Not good because they have a pest problem they need to get under control . Moved in for only A MONTH!! And seen roaches and bed bugs eww
These apartments are getting much better. The parking lot use to be an issue but the improvements are starting to take place. I can definitely see that the new owners and staff care about the property and its appearance :)
i lived there for a year and hated every min of if it the rent was cheap they did not keep up with there apartments
We moved in about 2 and half months ago, we had to keep on them to get us a place available. Once we got in. It wasn't what we asked for. We got stuck on the top floor. Tub wasn't finished...still isn't so I can't take a bath because the paint is coming off of it. AC has quit twice now within two weeks apart. Took maintance 2 weeks to fix it the second time. Now it's broke again and we aren't even bothering with telling them. Just wish we had screens in our windows so we could open them. It gets really hot. But we have cats so opening them without screens isn't possible. Asked several times for some but they keep saying they have them on order. We waited two weeks for mail keys just to have to go to the post office and pay to get them. This place isn't a bad place to live. If they would take the time and do the little things right the first time. Just wish we could of shopped around more before we moved in here.
I can honestly say these apartments are getting better. It is under new management the carpet has been removed, which cut back on the bed bug issue. The parking lot is terrible, i have never seen this many pot holes, but other then the bad landscaping and false advertisement of a pool everything is quite ok.
just moved in and the apt was clean and ready for me the grounds are nice
