This was the most unpleasant experience I had. Management is really bad, their communication is not very honest to say the least, they are rude and lazy, overcharging, place is infested with roaches, maintenance takes more than 3 days to fix anything, raccoons roam through the place. Even that they charge monthly for pest control there is none ever done.
I stayed here at the commons for two years. This was the worst experience I ever experienced with an apartment complex. My car window was busted in People cars get towed The apartment managers charged my account twice for rent without my permission with two different transaction and then stated to me when I came to the office that I did it. The apartment managers took almost a full month to give me my money back and then charged me extra fees as if I didn’t pay my rent on time which was something I paid faithfully for two years. I moved out of the apartment and gave a notice the managers added a 600 dollar fee to my account like I ruined the apartment and didn’t pay my rent. I took pictures of my apartment before I moved so I have proof of what they have on paper is false. Now the apartment complex have reported me to the credit bureau with false information I would highly suggest not moving here

Property review: Do not move to this community if you enjoy utilizing your apartment complex swimming pool. This is not the community for you if you enjoy beating the Texas heat by cooling down in the pool during the summer. However this pool has been closed since May 21, 2022! My family and I have been resident’s here for two years now. And literally every single summer the pool is only open very briefly! We have been given several different excuses for the pools consistent closure! Such as “ the pool part that they ordered for the pump was the incorrect size” , and “the filter is not functioning properly” & “the pool is closed for remodeling” “ the part that they ordered for the pool is on back order”! So basically it appears to be a maintenance issue with the pool. It’s no excuse for this and that this point this is BREACH of contract! When we moved into this apartment complex and signed our lease. We were clearly misinformed and giving false advertisement, told that this pool was “year-round” for swimming! And while the pool surrounding areas in the decor has been beautifully remodeled. Residence still have not been granted access to this “amenity” that we are paying to use! Meanwhile it’s 105° here in Houston, Tx.
before moving here I suggest knowing that not all the washers and dryers work. The app they use is currently not working and my clothes is stuck in the laundry room and they told me that they're not able to open the door in any other possible way.

Do not move here, management is TERRIBLE and they change management and office staff very frequently. There was a whole different office staff a few months into me moving-out(no notice was given out of this). I had an incident of a possible trafficking case. Where earlier in the day a woman was going around knocking on doors, attempting to look in peoples windows, crying for help saying someone "sent her" because me & another young lady who was my neighbor were the "chosen ones." To later that night, 2 men dressed in all black were in the parking lot trying to get my attention. The next day I came home and my neighbor's boyfriend informed me 2 male individuals were standing outside of my apt attempting to rob it while I was not home. It all connected to those 2 men standing by their car the previous night. I informed management of this information and she looked very unconcerned while telling me others had a similar complaint about a weird woman. All she informed me to do is change my locks. She didn't offer to look at surveillance footage, inform the cops or having on site patrol(such as other apts in the area does). The washer and dryers are faulty and 2/5 maybe working that day, you never know. Sometimes the front and/or exit gates will be broke, therefore, open to the public. They complain about the dumpsters being overfilled, however they don't problem solve by adding another dumpster or scheduling pickup for more frequent or earlier dates. Once I moved out, the apartment was swept, mopped and cleaned. They charged me $185 for "cleaning" & nail holes! They do whatever possible to keep your deposit. Im glad I am out of that poor establishment. PLEASE CONSIDER MOVING ELSEWHERE, before moving here. It isnt worth the hassle.

I've been a resident here since March 2019 and this is far one of the best properties I've had the pleasure of renting! I cannot praise this place enough! Everyone around here is nice and I literally has the best experience with the team at Commons At Westchase. I am so in love with my new place because is so quiet and modern.

There are a lot of problems, when we moved and so on. When we go there manager always don't care the problem. He even don't look at our face. The work can wait for a second , but he always running from the problems. If you looking for bad management here is the place. And the utilities always coming up more than they said in the beginnig. Every month is changing trash, water, sewer and there is no balance. They charge for per person. Even they didnt say in the begining.When we was moving, They said it s gonna be $50-70. But we paying $75-95. Even they cut off the water last months , the water bill came even high. We moved here as a brand new apartment, everything was out of work. We had 4 months bugs,roaches problems. Only Rose has listened us since we moved. The problem can fix but behaviour stays....

The Commons at Westchase is a great place to call home. The entire staff always greets you with a smile and are very helpful to our needs, and are ready to attend to any problems that arise. The grounds and facilities are kept clean every day by friendly, courteous workers. Rose and Crystal work very hard and fast to get me to move earlier than my first moving dates I pick. My other apartment I was living in flood out and I was able to go in a month early. I am really enjoying living here so far.
I loved this location but wow was I surprised that people could be so careless they didn't even call me to tell me I was approved for my apartment let alone did they even care that I put my deposit down so .. imagine how they treat the ones who live here! Don't recommend to anyone unless you HAVE no other choice definitely going to look for BETTER apartments next time!!!!!!
My husband and I walked in to view an apartment and the manager's first question to us was if we were legal US citizens. I went looking for an apartment not to immigration. Regardless of the fact that we both are citizens she continued to ask us about being able to provide our socials and IDs. Do not waste your time here!
the tubs are painted, the unit has fleas, and the roaches are horrible and millipedes took over the apartment. it's quiet though but omg, i cant wait to move

I've given this apartment complex a 4 star based on the excellent customer service given by Meadowchase Apt manager. She thrive for the happiness and satisfaction of her residents. At first I didn't care much for certain things but after sitting down and speaking with her just makes living here that much for comfy, knowing that she will make sure to do her best to keep her residents happy!
Its nice and peaceful. Big and spacious. If they can control the pests it'll be even nicer. Plus it's where I need to be...
