Separated from Minneapolis by the Mississippi River, the eastern half of the Twin Cities is known for being a bit more laid back and subdued. The landscape is dominated by grand government buildings, stately Victorian homes, and tranquil green spaces.
Saint Paul residents love to spend time outdoors. The city has earned international acclaim as one of the most bicycle-friendly communities in America, and many choose to get around by bike on a day-to-day basis. The Mississippi River is bordered by massive parks as it snakes around the city, providing lush greenery and scenic views. Although the winter months in Minnesota are infamous, locals laugh in the face of sub-freezing temperatures with the Saint Paul Winter Carnival, an immensely popular celebration that draws thousands every year. There’s a plethora of shopping and dining options downtown, including a number of breweries.

Property Ratings at Como Park Apartments
I had to come to Minneapolis/Saint Paul as an International Fellow. I came across Como park apartments on apartments.com and deposited my security. I was worried how it was going to be in-person. Honestly, it was above and beyond my expectations. I and my family spent 10 months at Como and honestly these were one of the best times of my life. The management was always responsive to our requests (we even got a new dishwasher installed). The apartment was clean when handed over to us. No signs of mold or anything. The community at the Como park apartments is also very respectable. No noise or uncomfortable things happening. They have good pools (both outdoor and indoor) and a good gym as well. As a student I had to travel to the U of M. The bus stop is 6 mins away. The bus that takes you to the UMN is 3A which takes hardly 30-40 mins to arrive. If you are bored or you have kids, you can go to a PARK, a THEME PARK, a ZOO and a LAKE in a walk less than 15 mins. The bus pickup point for schools is also on the road next to the apartments so it was very easy even in cold and snow. If I have to rate my stay at Como, I will definitely give it 10/10. Highly recommended if you want a quiet safe neighborhood with a neat and clean apartment. If I ever come back to Minnesota, I will definitely opt to live at Como Park Apartments without a second thought.
I’ve lived at como park for over 4 years now, at first in a two bedroom with a roommate and then I decided to stay when transitioning to my first solo apartment. I couldn’t be happier. The VALUE when considering cost per square foot, outdoor AND indoor pool with hot tub, fire pit, community activities, very friendly and helpful office staff, great party room that you can reserve, and I absolutely never hear my neighbors through the walls because of how well built the units are. I love being so close to como park and walking distance to the state fair as well!
I've been a part of the Como Park Apartments community since 2018, and have zero intention to move out - at least any time soon. Great location, great amenities, great management team.
We spent 2 years at Como and I highly recommend anyone looking to check them out! The grounds are beautiful, location is perfect and best of all the staff, Tina and Deb, are simply the best. If you have good management you have everything and Como Park has it!!
I cannot say enough positive things about my four year living experience at Como Park Apartments. The amenities and grounds are great and well kept, staff was always friendly and the apartment location itself is situated perfectly to allow easy access to parks, walking trails and all sorts of restaurants and activities in Minneapolis and Saint Paul. In the rare instance I had a maintenance issue my concern was always fixed in less than 24 hours. I highly recommend these apartments to anyone who wants to feel “at home” and enjoy a positive, safe and fun living experience.

Warmest regards,
I am legitimately sad to be leaving this apartment soon, due to a job location change. I have LOVED the ammenities, community, and area. Being able to walk to the State Fair, Zoo, trails, and Como lake have given me so much to do. The staff/management here are wonderful, and are so helpful and caring. The grounds are lovely and maintenance is fast and thorough! I even got a 'happy birthday' door hanging once a year and had fun at community picnics. It's been great to be tucked into this safe quiet nook in the city.

Wow! Thank you for the awesome review! We're so happy you've enjoyed not only your stay with us here at Como Park Apartments but also our neighborhood. We know you had a choice and we want to thank you for giving us the opportunity to take care of your residential needs. We wish you the very best in all your future endeavors. Sincerely, Como Park Apartments Management
We (3 girls) lived there for a year in a two-bedroom apartment before moving to a place that had a third bedroom. Como Park was affordable, but the main attraction is the staff. Tina & Deb work really hard to do right by the tenants. You don't feel like another number there: they are always working to give you the best experience, and really do care. The amenities are a nice plus, especially the pool in the summer. Como Park Apartment's policies are fair and the response time to work orders are very quick - Dean was so helpful. Parking was always good and the buildings are well-maintained inside and out. Never had any issues with crime / the neighborhood. In fact, it's right next to the park, which was such a plus! -Marian Whitaker

Como Park Apartments in St. Paul was a great place to live while I was completing a research master's degree from Fall 2015-Summer 2017. I had a single bedroom apartment, which was adequate for a single person who was mostly devoted to his studies. I had no troubles of any kind while living there. The complex is located near several major bus lines, meaning public transportation is easily accessible. A generous exercise room, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and a sauna add to the communal experience of this apartment complex. Deb and Tina are the best managers a renter could ask for, and the maintenance staff are timely, helpful, and friendly. I would recommend Como Park Apartments without hesitation to anyone looking for a place to live in the Twin Cities. Plan on staying for at least two years, because you will not want to leave. I only left because of moving to Chicago for further schooling. I miss this community, and am glad I was able to call it home for two years. I treasure my many fond memories from living at Como Park Apartments. Brach Jennings Ph.D. Student, Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago

I am quite happy living at Como Park Apartments after being here for almost 7 months. I sold my house and moved from another Minnesota community and had some apprehension about an apartment in the midst of The Cities, but things have gone very well with the choice of this apartment. I enjoy the community feel of Como Park Apartments, appreciate the indoor and outdoor pools and workout room, like the sort of oasis feel of the complex and grounds, and very much like the staff who are responsive, friendly, knowledgable, and stay on top of things. The area is super, with great parks, the Como Zoo, the state fairgrounds, and Como Lake nearby. It is close to many amenities and stores, and I like the nearby Roseville library. My apartment is comfortable. Just a little bit of noise carries through from other apartments, but I am sensitive to sounds, and it is not at a problematic level at all. The nearby train traffic is something I rather enjoy. I really appreciate that I feel safe here. I hope to be a long-term resident.

It's nice to have you here as well! We are so happy to hear you are enjoying not only your apartment community/amenities but also the surrounding neighborhood. We look forward to taking care of your residential needs for a long time. Thank you for choosing Como Park Apartments!
This complex is a great place to live in. It's right next to the Como Zoo, Lake Como, the State Fair grounds, and many other fun attractions. They have an indoor and outdoor pool, hot tub, saunas, a basketball court, and a tennis court. They owners are very nice and personable.
We lived at Como Park for a year and a half, and we had a very positive experience. Quiet location, lots of parking space available, updated appliances in the units, and friendly staff. A big selling point for us was the HUGE walk in closet in the bedroom, and large pantry in the kitchen. This is the best value for apartments that we've seen in the area. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
the best i heard about this neighborhood i heard it ouiet comfortable and real cosy i wiil love to live in this good neighborhood i know i will be a good tenat to live in the como neighborhood
My boyfriend and me recently visited Como Park Apartments for a tour. The grounds were beautiful & the apartments seem very spacious. Excited to fill out our applications we headed back. upon our arrival the girl who showed us around had questions for her assistant manager that she wasn't quit sure of while on our tour (she seemed new) but she was very nice! Her manager was very short with her and even more short with us. We ended up taking our applications with us and will be returning because we liked the apartment and location but definitely not because of the staff! We did like the girl who gave us our tour though :-)
When I was looking for an apartment, I was in the process of selling the home I had lived in for almost ten years. I hadn't rented in a long time and the market had changed a lot. I was hopeful that reviews posted by others might provide some guidance, but it seemed like the very few reviews I came across would posted by apparently disgruntled former tenants. Consequently, I decided that - if I liked whatever apartment I found - I would post a positive review to help the next person who found themselves in the same position that I had been in. I moved into Como Park Apartments ten weeks ago. The main reason I chose it was its location, its clean appearance, and its friendly staff. I have not regretted my decision one bit. There were a couple of small maintenance issues that I noted after moving in (e.g. the bathroom sink was clogged) and it was taken care of virtually immediately and with a smile. It is a little on the expensive side (although comparable to the other buildings I looked at - I think it's just a function of the market). The dryers in the laundry room aren't the greatest and I sure miss having a garage door opener (you have to get in and out of your car to open and shut your garage - if you have one, they cost extra). Other than that, I have no complaints. I hope this helps whoever is reading this.
From the time I walked in the door, I was impressed. The office staff was very friendly and informative. That's what initally sold me, that and the cleanliness of the grounds. The buildings are not new, but they and the apartments have been updated. I LOVE all the additional amenities that are included in the lease and although I haven't been able to attend many of the monthly social events, it's a nice offering. Never before have I been given the opportunity to win money off my rent by playing BINGO :)! Maintenance issues are taken care of quickly and even the maintenace guys are friendly! Note that there is a railroad track that run pretty frequently, but I guess I just got used to them as they don't bother me. All in all, this is a great place to live and offers more for the dollar than other places I checked out before choosing this place.
