This apartment is okay. The bad: There are various tenants who smoke weed on this property for me my downstairs and side neighbor smoked therefore the smoke came into my unit. The management company did nothing about it and never followed up with complaints and never followed through with actions to help. There are even tenants who smoke in their cars in the parking structure on occasion. If you live in a unit next to the street Rosecrans you will hear police and ambulance sirens multiple times a day. As well there are lots of individuals that speed and blast music while driving. Having closed windows does not help. The walls are also thin so you can hear neighbors that talk loudly. There is an empty car dealership next to the property. On occasion there will be random people fighting or yelling in this lot. Possibly drug related. Various times the mailboxes have been broken into as these are accessible to passerbys. I have had my mail stolen before and was told by the apartment manager to file a police report as they will not do so. Rent goes up every year for me this was $100 per month and $25 for parking. No improvements were made to the property this is for market increase. Communication is not flowed well down to all tenants for example if there will be shutting off the water. Cleanliness can be an issue at sometimes. There have been instances where the elevator was urinated in, gum was stuck on elevator walls, dog, or cat poop on the stairwell. The last two were not cleaned right away. The hallways are mopped not on a consistent basis and trash in the garages is picked up after some time. Parking in the neighborhood is also a hassle. With the new complex that was just built I assume parking with become more of a problem. Some cross streets are permit parking only. The good: Payments can made easily online. Noise complaints are addressed promptly. When a tenant leaves the apartments are remodeled to some extent to maintain a nice-looking apartment so moving in it was a clean looking unit. Stove and one parking space are provided.
