Property Ratings at Concierge
DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!! It is horrible! The management is TERRIBLE! they will tell you one thing and then the next person will give you a completely different answer regarding rent terms. THEY ARE CLUELESS! They add fees randomly. the pool is disgusting in the summer with bugs. ANyone can go pick up mail packages in the 3 rooms that are just packages......

We're sorry to hear you feel this way about our management and want to apologize if there was any sort of misunderstanding. We want to assure you that we do not add random fees, and all of our charges are outlined in the lease agreement. Our goal is to ensure transparency with everyone, and if you have any questions, we are happy to provide clarification. Your feedback is important to us, and we’re always looking for ways to improve. If you’d like to discuss your concerns further, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly at conciergemgr@twocoastliving.com.
Everything about it is terrible, except maybe the pool. The "upgraded/remodeled" units are poorly done, with everything falling apart before you even move in. The units are filthy and not cleaned before move-in. There are ALWAYS bugs in the apartment, and on several occasions, dog poop on the hallway carpet that remained for nearly a week each time. They charge so much for a cheap place to live, management that never respond, and random fees that cannot be explained. The walls and floors/ceilings are thin so you are constantly being disturbed. The apartments are poorly insulated so it's always either too hot or too cold. Though the apartments fall apart because of their poor quality and not through excessive wear and tear or damage, they will overcharge you for every little thing once you try to move out. I moved here because it seemed affordable, but after all the excess charges for absolutely nothing, I should have paid more for somewhere that does not make me miserable. It is definitely worth it to pay more for a comfortable place to live. I would not recommend this place to anybody, except perhaps to people I deeply hate.

Dear Marylyn, We’re sorry to hear your experience didn’t meet expectations. Our team works hard to ensure units are clean, move-in ready, and well-maintained. While we strive for perfection, occasional issues like cabinet delivery delays can happen, but we address them quickly. We also manage pest control proactively and are always happy to address concerns like pet waste or noise disturbances when reported. Move-out charges are based on the unit’s condition, as outlined in the lease agreement. If you’d like to discuss your concerns further, we’re here to help. Please reach out to us if you have any questions at conciergemgr@twocoastliving.com. We appreciate your input and will use it to continue improving the experience for all residents
When I first moved in the apartment sink flooded when I ran my dishwasher. It took them a month! To come fix it! I had to eat off paper plates! They upped my rent mid renting term didn’t give me any forewarning!!! Then if I stayed they wanted 600$ extra if I stayed. They get you in at a low price then jack the rent up by $600!!! The places have ants and roaches!!! They make it seem like a great place but I promise you it isn’t!!!!
The hallways and bathrooms flood all the time, causing mold and a nasty smell. You will not get your deposit back, even if you hire professional cleaners. They put a deadline on the returned deposit on the check and give it to you past the date. The staff are nice, but very unhelpful. My friend ceiling fell through, and it took them a month to fix it. It does not matter how many emails or calls you make to corporate. They are basically trying to put a pretty bandaid over some serious issues, definitely not safe to live here. Last year, the city would not allow them to open the pool for months because they try to avoid regulations. Do not leave your bike in the storage, even locked because pieces will be stolen. Dogs poop everywhere.
My last straw for this apartment is they towed my car for parking in the parking lot MEANT FOR RESIDENTS. $360 and a 20-minute drive to pick up my car that they towed from the parking lot meant that I was supposed to park in! Terrible management who did not effectively communicate this ahead of time. The actual apartments look so much worse that the model apartment. They leave your packages out in a room so anyone can take them, and all apartments constantly smell like weed. DON"T LIVE HERE
Stay far away from this complex! They staff there is rude, terrible at customer service and never responds to Voicemails or email. Also you won't see your security deposit back. When you move they charge for totally unnecessary cleaning fees. Also the staff will lie to you and make an excuse for everything it was a horrible experience here.
Don't let "covid did this" fool you into thinking this complex is just a covid victim. The staff here is HORRIBLE. About a year ago a majority of the staff left and ALL the good ones left. Emails don't get read they never answer the phone and when you do finally get someone or go in to talk to them you get a very condicending answer or a fake i'm sorry. The come down hard on ridiculous rules but can't even get the doors to the building to work correctly. Very clearly have no idea what they are doing. Also look closely at the amenity list have of them are dumb and the big ones are lack luster. There are only basketballs available for all the outdoor amenities, the pool wasn't open until the end of July because they forgot to put chemicals. The actual units are not as good as the one they show you. I've had bats in my apartment the water pressure and tempurature are horrible every time I shower. The sink smells terrible and I can't ask for help because the front desk is terrible. I haven't had any issues with the maintenance people. The laundry room next to my apartment leaks everytime some one uses the first washer and they never come fix it. They did just redo the floors BUT THEY DID NOT FIX THE WATER DAMAGE just floored over the top of it. I could just go on and on. It's terrible.
Terrible management. This place should be torn down. I lived here for 4 years because it was cheap and the location is convenient with quick highway access. I was too busy to relocate, but I should have moved out on day one. Save yourself the trouble and look for something else. There are major plumbing issues, bugs, mold, package theft, cars constantly being broken into, cops called frequently, fire alarms being pulled requiring late night evacuation, power outages, broken washer/dryers, unsecured doors, overflowing dumpsters. The amenities are always broken. And the management does not care whatsoever. In fact, if you tell them something is wrong they will just get defensive. I moved to apartment in Edina. Best decision I have ever made in my life. Moral of the story - don’t live here.
I lived her for a few years. I wouldn't recommend anyone to live here. Every time it rained, my apartment got flooded.
I dont know how this place has five stars. High crime, poorly "renovated", highly priced. My apartment flooded six times in six months and caused thousands of dollars in personal damages. They refused to change the carpet after floodings. Instead, they left it ripped up and never fixed it. Constant maintenance issues. Now that I moved out, they claim to have not received rent, (despite my receipts) and sent me to collections. They also won't return my security deposit, several phone calls and emails. Corporate's tenet relations line and email also refuses to answer calls and its been a month. Now I have to seek legal action. Don't move here and safe yourself a headache.
Do not recommend this apartment. They nickel and dime you for every cent you have. They are very greedy. The first apartment we were supposed to move into wasn't clean. We moved up to Minnesota from Missouri so we were desperate for a place to reside. We moved into a different apartment in the concierge. We are moving out early because we bought a home and in the lease is a nightmare to get out of they say if you pay them $2500 dollars they might let you out of the lease. The apartments smell like illegal drugs in a drug free apartment building. Police have been called multiple times for fights and drug use. Air-conditioning is very loud and doesn't cool the bedroom. Utilities are very expensive. We sent in our renters insurance which they require multiple times and they are still charging us the $60 dollar fee. Please avoid this apartment. These are the landlords that give all them a bad name! Grimy.
Only toured but it was packed and busy. Could only tour the model units not the actual apartment itself. Beware of hidden fees. +$25 "amenity" fee per month, and $200 admin fee to apply.
Was great when we moved in 3 years ago. Since then, a different company bought it out and it's clear the management (besides Chip who is wonderful) doesn't care about the residents. Police are there every other day and it's not worth the exorbitant amount they increase your rent each year. Our rent went up more than $200 over the years we lived there. I would not recommend living here.
The property owners are terrible. They don’t care about tenants safety. The police have been here one to many times. The office doesn’t communicate well at all.
First off I want to express the BEST part about this place is Chip who works the front desk. He is truly kind and tries his best- I feel like they overwork him though! But as far as the actual apartment.. when we moved in we were totally sold by the pictures on the website. Upon our first tour, the hallways smelled like weed. The leasing manager at the time, Christine, looked so embarrassed. We were moving from out of state so our first tour was right after we signed our lease- in general, don’t sign leases sight unseen but you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes. The apartment was cute enough- definitely took an old building and they cheaply updated it. I personally liked the shade of grey on the walls and we adapted to the small bathroom and kitchen. Though, the countertops in the kitchen are actually nice. The walls are on the thinner side, and our bathroom consistently smelled like weed. The summers are unbearable. The small air conditioner is quite old and doesn’t really cool off anything except the immediate area around it. We bought one we could place in the window for our bedroom and that cooled off more of the apartment. Laundry is (at the time I’m writing this) $1.90 to wash and $1.90 to dry.. so almost $4 per load so budget that in! The rent is quite high for the lack of amenities and the location. I witnessed a couple really strange things later at night while we lived there but it all centered around one resident so I can’t say that every building is as sketch, but just beware! You will see a security camera near the front entrance of each building, however... they’re all broken so it’s not worth even having! I’m not sure the heating situation, but we never turned our thermostat on yet our apartment was always always hot.. and I’m someone who’s always cold. If it’s in an area you want to live in (there’s tons of shopping nearby and target and chick fil a are literally a one minute drive away) it’s a good little place. Overpriced but nice enough.
Yes I will say customer service, not a manger in site. One person says another thing, you go back a couple of days and it's completely different. So many packages just "missing". Had to have my packages delivered to a friends house. This entire year I work from home listening to 66th and Penn Ave traffic. They wouldn't let us switch out the apartment. Even with their $300 fee. Don't move in especially in building E! That's my honest opinion go on with your eyes open. If you are on the 1st flood good luck listening to people running around upstairs. In short Don't MOVE IN! Run with your money!!!!
Do not rent here! The only positive reviews are clearly written by The staff that live here. They have embellished the amenities listed above for example dog spa and pet spa are the same and there’s only one. These are not granite countertops I’ve had granite these are not them and there is no pantry in your kitchen. You do not have control over the heat in your unit there is a thermostat but it does not work. We had a lower level apartment which should be the coldest and we could sit around in T-shirts and shorts in January. The exterior door to our building has a huge gap at least a half inch which is not conducive to keep in the building heated or cooled. you’ll notice a frosty buildup on the door that extends all the way to the third-floor windows The so-called renovations they did were nothing more than putting lipstick on a pig. One day we caught one of the leasing ladies trying to enter the unit without permission. She was dropping off a violation letter and I walked up behind her as she was trying to open the door. I said “can I help you” and she handed me the notice and took off. The recurring fees that they list on this website are not accurate either, in addition to your pet rent you will pay a monthly resort fee and a monthly fee for pest removal. The resort was closed for three months due to Covid but yet you still had to pay the resort fee If you decide to ignore the negative reviews on all the various websites and still want to move forward then do yourself a favor and ask to see a copy of the move out checklist. You are required to have your carpet professionally cleaned and you must show the receipt to the property manager or you will be charged by Concierge. Ask any of the current tenants and they’ll tell you the only reason they stay there is because of the dog park -they do have a heated shelter which is nice in the winter.
This apartment flashes you with amenities and has nice and welcoming staff when you come to your walk through appointment. But are difficult to work with and likes to charge you for everything they can think of once that lease is signed. I would highly recommend recording them because they lied to me to get me in the place. I made mistake of being honest with them and telling them that free laundry is something I must have to move in here. Of course they said it was free and then upon my first day getting the keys they said it was not. The staff including the manger showed any lack of caring with no proper customer service. The respesentative ensured I signed the paperwork he had and then left me to my own. They did not even tell me where my room was untill I had to ask someone else. My room was dirty, things did not even work, ants are everywhere in my room, and worst their systems are horrible to us an rarely work. To conclude look eslewhere and I won't be returning after my lease.
There are so many things I love at Concierge! First, there are the incredible amenities- the huge pool is always so fun, im never bored. There is always so much to do! Right now I have been getting more into volleyball in the court and gardening in the gardening plots. The apartment was perfect- all the updates I had wanted. Maintenance is quick and efficient- when I put in a request, it will be completed within 48 hours, but it is typically done even earlier. I have to say that the staff here is incredible- every time that I have any questions or concerns they are always quick to respond and ready to help! I have to say I love it here at Concierge!
First I want to dispell any concern brought up by the other reviews. I'm not sure where they're coming from or if their experience was drastically different than mine, or even if they decided to review based off a misconstrued bad experience, but I want to share my experience. I've lived here since 2015, when the renovation project began, and my experience has been fantastic. Keep reading if you want to know why. Being one of the residents who has lived here since November of 2015 - literally weeks after new management took over - I feel like I have a great perspective of how it is to live here. I have been extremely happy with both my time here and the service I have received. Any maintenance requests I put in were taken care of promptly and effectively, and the maintenance staff was always courteous and professional. I had questions about my rent when I first moved in, and the office was always willing to take the time to explain everything to me. As a first time renter, I am so grateful for everyone's patience as I learned how to navigate renting. I've seen reviews suggesting that Concierge overcharges or has hidden fees, and I don't want to be harsh, but I find that kind of ridiculous for someone to suggest. All my leases - my initial lease, and my multiple renewal leases - have ALL had the fees stated clearly in the lease. The person that suggests there are hidden fees is simply ignoring what's in their paperwork and not doing their due diligence to ask the questions they have. I'm glad that Concierge has high standards for their property. I don't mind paying the rent that I do - in fact, at what I'm getting here I think it's very affordable. Compared to any other luxury properties in the Twin Cities area, here you are getting the best deal you possible could. Honestly, living here has been such an incredible experience. I strongly encourage you to take negative reviews with a grain of salt and instead come in and create your own perspective from your experience. I appreciate everything Concierge has done to create and maintain a beautiful, resort-style property.
Dont move here staff is rude and they have ROACHES and mice.. THEN they started charging for utilities.
I wouldn’t recommend this apartment complex to a homeless person this place is a dump!!! Just take a look at the pictures, also the maintenance team just can’t get it right when it comes to repairs just hire a real plumber for heavens sake !!!!!!! PLEASE BEAWRE OF ALL THE HIDDEN FEES I am in the process of taking on a second job because I am being charged an additional $200 monthly this was never discussed during my lease signing and it’s perfectly legal even if it wasn’t discussed ..... the office staff is very disingenuous FYI
Way over priced for what you get. Fees keep getting added and they didn't even notify residents when one of the building was on fire.
Management has gone way downhill, amenities are not worth the price, they have added so many extra fees, and utility costs. Anytime i have put in a work order they leave a mess, and do the cheapest fix possible that looks terrible or beaks again. Installed a new toilet crooked. I can't wait to get out of here!!
This place is a dump! There are rodents in the walls, insects and centipedes everywhere! the laundry room constantly floods, and has been flooding for over two years and they have never done anything about it except make excuses! there are dogs running wile everywhere. nothing is handicapped accessible. the bathrooms need severe remodeling. this place is a dump and they do not fix anything! DO NOT MOVE HERE, SAVE YOUR MONEY!
Gorgeous property! The most dog-friendly. Vegas-style pool!
I found this building here so I had to leave a review here. So I'm going to start by saying the staff is fairly nice. Next I'm going to say believe the bad reviews. This place is invested with centipedes and spiders. I never had cockroaches but that is probably because of the centipedes and spiders. I would see them day and night. They have someone come out and spray but that doesn't fix an infestation. They will try to sell this place to you without looking at it. Don't take the bait. Me and my boyfriend did and we ended up paying the 2500 to move because of how trashy this place was. The amenities are the only good part but for paying how much you do it's not worth it. The paint jobs are a mess(they don't fix it either) The counters aren't flush against the walls(which leads to difficult cleaning). Make sure you view the unit you are interested in. Every negative review you see has truth to it. You could get lucky and not have issues but that doesn't seem to be the case(I followed the community page). Also I realize the building is old but they shouldn't charge like it's new.
Love how nice and clean the inside of the apartments are and loved the pool! -my kids loved all the fun activities and games there too.
$100 rent hikes, mice in the heater vents, rude staff, cheap maintenance repairs, hallway reeks like weed often, don’t write checks because they lose them and charge you a late fee on top of you having to cancel the check (happened 2x)
My boyfriend and I went to go see this apartment and immediately fell in love ! This place is so nice ! The pool is huge , game room , movie room , three separate gym areas and so much more ! The apartment they showed us was great and remodeled had everything we needed . The management and staff was so nice and welcoming to us ! We signed the lease that day ! If you think it’s too good to be true so find out for yourself!
In the almost 2wks i’ve lived here, i have filed countless maintenence requests. First, the apartment was dirty when i moved in, toilet wouldn’t flush, dishwasher didn’t work and instead made my new plates disgusting (they have had to repair it 3 times already), the kitchen sink was leaking, bathtub wouldn’t drain, bathtub control thingy was rusted and started flaking into the water, the place smelled and still does, none of the blinds worked and kept falling apart, and a million other little things. Since then, an entire outlet has stopped working, my new tv and new modem will randomly turn off due to the outlets, the fridge turned off, freezer won’t stay shut (even when empty) and the water has a weird smell. They also waited almost 2wks to paint my door instead of doing it before i moved, exposing my pets and myself to toxic chemicals. 2 days later the smell lingers and I even had them skip the inside to lessen it! Overall I am paying far too much for amenities that don’t even work. There was a lot of misinformation told to me by staff prior to signing the lease then corrected after- things that would have made me sign a lease for another place. Do yourself a favor and don’t live here, while the recreation center is nice, the actual apartments are not and are in way worse shape than the show apartment.
My fiancé and I moved into Concierge Apartments in February. Since then we have only had one major issue, and the staff worked with us in order to fix it (our bedroom had some water damage from the snow melting so quickly - maintenance staff replaced the pad underneath the carpet, and offered to replace the carpet itself if we weren't happy with how the room smelled a week or two later after airing it out, Concierge also took money off of our rent for that month because of the issue). Despite the inconvenience, the issue was handled professionally and was fixed within a day. Living on the floor level has it's pros and cons (pros - don't have to worry about disturbing anyone below us, easy access to the apartment for moving in and out; cons - neighbors above, potential for water damage, parking lot noise). There is no in-unit washer/dryer, but there is one very near to our apartment. It is a bit expensive (around $2 to wash, and $2 to dry per load), but something you are aware of and agree to when signing the lease. We do our laundry at our family's house close by to save money. The staff is very welcoming - I haven't had one negative experience so far. The maintenance workers are especially helpful and communicative. Nearly all of the maintenance requests we've made have been dealt with within a few hours. Dogs and cats are allowed. There is no cat rent, but I believe there is dog rent. Generally, people are respectful and clean up after their animals. Dogs bark, so be aware of whether or not that will bug you. Usually we don't hear anything during the night. We look forward to the summer activities outdoors! But as most apartment dwellers, wish to have a place of our own one day where all the apartment worries aren't so prevalent. Concierge is a nice temporary home.
We have lived here since it was Crossroads at Penn, and are now having to leave because we are getting priced out. The transition between ownership and remodeling work was really rough. Concierge had really poor communication at first and didn't respect residents. Now they are trying to communicate better, and are doing a pretty good job of it. The apartments are reasonable. The cabinets and flooring seem a little cheap, but not bad. New appliances are nice. They have added quite a few activities, so if you will take advantage of those this is a great place to be. Office staff is friendly. They have an online portal for maintenance requests, but that often doesn't work. I usually had to talk to the office to get maintenance requests put in. Maintenance is nice, but sometimes get backed up (I had to wait 3 weeks before someone came to fix a gas leak last year...on the other hand, I have also had them show up within 24 hours of other requests). I'm sad that we have to go.
The staff is great, Lauren was extremely nice and helpful, a pleasure to deal with.
Can't believe this place. It's literally the best price in the area and what you get is pretty incredible. I can't wait to use the golf simulator but honestly I think the best part is how honest and genuine the staff is! I took a tour and they took almost an hour to show me everything. 5 stars!!
Just moved in two weeks ago and just found cockroaches in the bathroom!! I am a clean person who does not leave dishes out. I try as hard as possible to be clean. This is the first apartment where I have seen cockroaches... I like the apartment and ammenities, but if I knew there were cockroaches I would not have chosen this place as my home.
The fire pit, amenities, and the apartment/building upgrades have made the property look great. I had seen what the property looked like it was Crossroads at Penn and this company has taken it to a level of sophistication. The staff are very friendly and helpful to top it off.
I am so happy my husband and I moved in to this complex. We have had nothing but good experiences with the staff. Whenever we have needed something, they have been quick to help! I needed my toilet seat fixed and someone was at my door within minutes! The renovations are beautiful. I love the resort center. The Fitness OnDemand is great. I love putting a Yoga video on and being able to follow along without the hefty price of a yoga class. The staff is always smiling and willing to help! Whenever I have a package to pick up, the ladies in the office always take a minute to make sure everything else is going well. Even when I walk in to work out early, whoever is at the front desk is smiling and welcoming. Concierge is always throwing an event or party for the residents. I look forward to the next one! Try out the awesome fire pit! I love to take a cup of coffee out there after dinner and people watch in the evening. Take a tour today!!
Me and my furr baby, Felix have lived here for the past 10 months. I definitely will be renewing my lease. Unlike some people, I have had only positive interactions with the staff and maintenance. They are always professional, curtious and helpful. Love the updates and new amenities. My favorite part is relaxing at the pool. Can't wait for it to reopen in the summer. I also love how close the apartments are to everything. It's a great place to live!
I am so happy I decided to move in. I love my apartment! The laundry is great, the work out facility is great, and there are so happy amenities I haven't even used yet. The staff is super helpful. I love the look and feel of my apartment. I love it here
We enjoys the tour, especially all the amenaties! Need AIR HOCKEY! Presenter very friendly and knowledgeable.
A Great place to live. When you call for maintenance, they are prompt and gets the job done. I love all the new amenities and the staff is great especially Mr. Chip. Will definitely tell others about the Concierge!!!!!!!!! Mrs.H. Adams
I like the complete maintenance. All the amenities and working culture of all the apartment team. Very much happy in referring others. Definitely this is very good place to stay in. Cheers. Rajiv.
Christine took me on the tour and she was amazing! Great personality and made me feel very comfortable. I had no idea she was the, "New Girl!" Garrett and Tim were extremely nice too! The new amenitites were spectacular and I can't wait to move in after my lease is up! ;) Thanks everybody! Mike
Christine did an awesome job showing us all the amenities and the different apartment options. Did all the necessary paperwork quickly. We would highly recommend living here. Dawn Weseman
I love it here. It's very secure and great location. The lights across the bridge make me feel like I'm right in the cities, yet it's a peaceful area and also feels secluded. I strongly recommend this complex.
In the past management wouldn't notify you of packages, you'd just have to look for a note from the carrier at the PO boxes or track it online. They just got a new system in place which has worked wonderfully and was well needed. We now receive instant emails/texts every time a package is dropped of with the Concierge. You can tell the really are interested in residents comments/suggestions.
I moved here in June and have been pleasantly surprised with most things about Concierge. The office staff is all super happy and friendly. Packages get delivered to and kept safely in the office, which is open until 10pm most nights, so it's really convenient to pick them up! The amenities are amazing (pool, workout room, virtual golf, and movie and game room). New floors, kitchen, and carpet in the bedroom are nice, although I wish the bathrooms were renovated as well. They have added a lot of great extra features like a fire pit, patio, and text alerts for packages and laundry. Overall a good place to live for the price. The staff is very helpful and maintenance requests are completed in a very timely manner. Great place for young professionals to live!
I work from home and just can't concentrate when working out of the apartment. The concierge has been extremely helpful. They allowed me to use a conference room that they have hidden in the back that is available for use at no cost. It was nice and quiet and what a great change of pace. Amenities overall are quite exceptional. Haven't used the golf simulator yet, but I'm sure I will not that its getting colder out.
I've lived about 1/2 a year at Concierge, and I'm generally quite pleased with my apartment. Neighbors are generally very polite and courteous. I've gotten to know a few quite well, not just in my own building but others as well. They have had a few events which makes it nice and easy to meet people. The management is generally good as well, fast at responding and courteous. Pros: Nice "Chestnut style" wood flooring, stainless steel appliances (not the cheap ones either), the amenities can't be beat (very nice to show off the lovely amenities to friends). Mediocre in-building cleaning. They are great with receiving packages. I've been able to pick up packages even when I get home late in the evenings. A few times the concierge has been away from the desk but they have a concierge number to call if you need him back to retrieve the package for you.
