Property Ratings at Concord Square Apartments
Current management / maintenance has worked there for about 8 or so years. Wife / Husband team. Management is readily available via a call or the office, patient, and nice to work with. We all have her cell phone if she isn't in the office. She schedules work orders quick and maintenance is knowledgeable, fast and nice. I can tell they both care about tenants. Great part of town, close to a lot of amenities. My only complaint would be rising prices, with no upgrades / remodels of insides and out. Move in and move out was a breeze.
This complex has been managed by the same "husband and wife " team since about 2016. This complex was a mess and overrun with problems of both people and previous so called maintenance personnel "repairs". The current office manager has been outstanding over those 8 years helping turn the complex into a safer community. She has definatly demonstrated what having patience and being professional means when it comes to some of the extremely difficult and self absorbed tenants that are always out to cause trouble. The maintenance has done an outstanding job with trying to undo and fix the previous maintenance(s) "repairs" as well as keeping all work orders addressed and maintenance work caught up all in a very tight budget and allotted hours they are given per week. This place is obviously not without its problems and issues but is a great quiet (for the most part) place to call home. Most complaints around the community are from the few self entitled people that get mad when they do not get things their way and or lack the understanding that it is only 1 maintenance guy who is only allowed 35 hours a week but has on many occasions been here on his personal time to finish projects or tenant work orders (I know this because I have actually talked with the nice gentleman) and an office manager who works out of 2 different offices but still manages to address everyone in a timely manner.
4yrs ago it was nice place to live, 3yrs ago "new managers" were hired (husband & wife), they have destroyed any positive things to say about these apts. Office is seldom open & not because of COVID-19, management just doesn't show up. Maintenance (the husband)is virtually non existent. Paint is peeling everywhere, gutters runover like waterfalls, better have a snowshovel if you want to get out, they might hire someone days after you've dug yourself out, complain & you set yourself up for harassment. until the owners wise up & get rid of the current management Mt. Concord will continue to lose residents, I guess that's OK though management has plenty more relatives to "rent" the apts. As I started saying this use to be a nice place to live. Current resident for now. save yourselves some heartaches look elsewhere.
